A thrilling finish to the match between Chennai and Hyderabad. Chennai have won their match against Hyderabad to go to the top of the IPL table. Chennai scored 182 runs, but Hyderabad were in the match until the last ball of the match. Hyderabad needed a six to win off the last match, but Rashid Khan could score only a single off the ball from Bravo.

That was heck of a match for sure, filled with a lot of suspense, something which is loved by spectators. Today, Rajasthan Royals beat Mumbai Indians by 3 wickets. Awesome batting by Krishnappa Gowtham of the Rajasthan Royals at the last. 33 runs on just 11 balls, this was the performance because of which RR defeated MI.

Next one coming up tomorrow is between Delhi and Punjab in Delhi. Let's see what Chris Gayle does this time for Punjab against the Delhi Daredevils. Wink

How these 37 and 38 year old players are performing so well in the IPL? A few days back it was Chris Gayle and now it is the turn of Shane Watson... In ODI or test cricket, these players would have been out of consideration for selection.

They just have to perform for 15-30 minutes for a good innings here. If there fitness levels are to be put to real test, that can be done with a test match. I think they will not even be able to qualify the medical fitness tests in such a scenario.

I was thinking the same thing, I think they perform so well even at this age is because playing in the IPL there isn't as much pressure as playing for your country so they can go out there and play their natural game where as playing for their country they might not be able to do that. Back in the day, players were retiring at these ages of 37 to 40 but now times have changed and players are retiring a lot earlier. So even at these ages they are still in good form.

T20 is a very short format and that may be one of the reasons. A T20 match lasts just 3 hours, compared to 8 hours for an ODI or up to 40 hours for a test matches. So it is more suitable for those players above 35 years of age, like Watson and Gayle.
It does not all about that...it’s about class talent power and experience.. and Gayle and Watson are one of the best players of all time specially Gayle he is the best batsman of all time in the t20 format of the game and still he is showing he is the voss

The big guns that RCB have on their rolls finally seem to be clicking. Delhi Daredevils scored a challenging 174 in their alloted 20 overs. RCB managed to overcome it with ease, winning the match with 2 overs to spare. AB de Villiers scored more than half the runs required and was unbeaten till the very end. His 90 came off just 39 balls!
Yeah ab did it again today i had decided to not watch ipl but was given a unexpected holiday today , the match couldn't have been any better with virat being out with a impossible catch , gambir misfielding and 90 runs overall it looked like delhi would win but rcb gave a really good fight in the end
Many people criticized him as choker because he couldn't play well in the previous two run chases but they should know that both the wins of RCB is because of ABD itself . What a player! Really astonishing innings when the team needed him . Still I don't think RCB has got what it takes to win the trophy .

Chennai has won their match against Rajasthan Royals by 64 runs. Chennai, batting first, scored 204 runs with Watson scoring a century. Once that was done, Rajasthan needed somebody to step to stay competitive. None of the batsmen except Stokes going, resulting in an easy victory for Chennai. The shifting of matches outside Chennai hasn't hurt CSK at all!
It was a great performance by Watson and i am seeing a performance from him after a long time, looks like the old stars are regaining form now, Yesterday Gayle stuck a century after a long time and now Watson, it looks like RR is lacking a batting super star in their line up who could take the match away from the opponent, i am not sure what their entire line up is, but looking now i think they lack a specialist like Watson or Gayle.

Even international T-20 matches we can predict based on country and team players, But here it's not easy we can just guess who will win the result must depend on your luck.

Nope... T20 is such an unpredictable game and it is not like test matches or ODIs, where you can easily predict the outcome. Do you know how many times the minnows Netherlands have beaten England in T20s? It doesn't matter whether it is an international T20 or IPL. Both are equally unpredictable. So while making the bets, please keep in mind this risk factor.

I agree but in international T20 matches most of the time strong teams will win and odds also favours for them, here we can divide strong teams and weak teams but in IPL we can't because all teams are equally strong. for example, If any strong teams like IND, AUS or SA play against ZIW which team you will pick? 90% people pick a strong team right why because they are stronger than ZIW.

but you also right predicting T20 matches are not easy.

I'll agree here T20 is one of the strangest form of cricket, a winning team suddenly looses and at times a unknown player comes and saves the day. I have watched plenty of international T20 matches where on paper a team is strong but on ground they crumble faster than a pizza boy delivers a pizza. I have had my hands burnt like this, don't be foolish to underestimate teams especially in a t20 format.

This all depends on which team are playing as their are some teams where you can see lot of drama in the match as they are unpredictable teams where they win against strong team and lose against weak team. That is why it is better to make both side book profit even if we see that the team is winning better to book profit or shift small profit on other team. That is why it is told that if you play sports betting as trading then you will always be in profit.

Is there any prediction site or person who is predicting the IPL, if so share those details, i find it difficult to understand which team is in good form or not as on their day they are performing well and on another day just mediocre performance. Today we have Kings and Sunrisers, with the form Sunrisers are in they should win the match but if Gayle regains his touch then it is game over.

You can check the odds given by various betting sites and make the comparison. That will be much better than trusting some biased "expert". And regarding the last part of your post, Gayle just made a century for KXIP. The match seems to be decided in favor of KXIP.

I am watching IPL tournament from the 1st season but still, i can't predict 100% who will win, it's not that much easy many times the last ball decide who is the winner. Come to yesterday match KXIP won by 15 runs.

If you're predicting the result of an ODI match or a test match based on the past performances and current form, then that makes some sense. But a T-20 match is pretty much something that can lead to a result that looked like totally impossible before the match.

Predicting in IPL is difficult but not as much most peoples believe because if you have some good sense of cricket you can predict nearly 60% to 80% which is not bad at all I also give some prediction here in locally but currently have not enough time just because of this now I am not checking these matches but hopefully can do in near future
