Today is judgement day for Aussies and giving a lifetime ban would be the perfect solution i didn't understand how come no action is taken against the coach he is surely involved in this incident and the fact this isn't happening for the first time with Australia players this is good justice to everyone

That was the most ridiculous decision. Darren Lehmann was the mastermind behind this (evident from the radio conversations while the play was going on), and he was neither banned nor removed as the coach. Simply ridiculous.

I am waiting to see how Australia is going to performn in their next match against South Africa after all the controversy and their major players are banned for the violation and in my opinion is this a good match to wage a bet for a sure win for South Africa as i do not think that they could win this match with their top players like Smith and Warner not in the team could challenge against a top quality team like South Africa.

The last test match will be going to start tomorrow between SA and Australia. I think still Australian players are under pressure from the last match incident so SA may take that advantage and can win this match. Top two batsman are gone for Australia and new players may need some time to get adjusted to the new conditions so SA are in a good position win the match.

IPL teams also removed both Smith and Warner for this season and both of them lost almost 2 million each.

They should have gone with Afridi's style in tempering, everything totally public without any hidden plans:
It is true that he did not get a one year ban for tampering with the ball and i am not sure how much punishment he got from this incident but i really still think that the current incident is blown out of proportion.

I get the feeling that the whole world was just waiting for Australia to make a mistake like this and then jump on them. Lets be honest here every team in world cricket has done this in the past so people need to just relax as the players that were involved have been dealt with match bans for 12 months Steve Smith and David Warner while Cameron Bancroft got a 9 month ban. I think most people want to see them get life bans because Smith and Warner are two of the best players in the world lol of course they say ban them for life but what about the players that have done this before them? maybe they should of banned them for life to put a stop to it then and there.

Who told you that full team players are going to get ban, it is totally foolish comment. It is clearly given in all media that Steven Smith and David Warner this two players are only going to get ban for 1 yrs or more dont know. When a players is responsible for his wrong doings what will the other team players will do.

Those media comments are based on initial findings and Australia is going to conduct a full investigation and if they find any other players then they will also get a punishment. As of today's latest news all three players Steve Smith, David Warner & Cameron Bancroft withdrew from the current test series and sent them home and Australia cricket board said that within next 24 hours they will announce the more details about what they are going to do with these three players.

Smith and Warner got 1 year ban. Are they going to miss the IPL / BBL as well? Does the ACA ban covers these T20 leagues? I am afraid that this will be the end of road for both of them. Remember that Warner is already in his 30s.

Its time for the IPL team to decide whether they will allow them to play or ask them to join next year once the 1 year ban gets removed. It is really a horrifying moment for OZ cricket as they where the best team at a time for stretch and now to win they can do anything itself means OZ down start have started in cricket.

It got announced that IPL team have withdrawn both steven smith and david warner from IPL 2018, So now they are not going to participate in local or international cricket games.

IPL teams haven't withdrawn them, they had to when BCCI, IPL Officials and some other Legal officials made this decision. The two teams are allowed find a suitable player of there choice. How stupid can a player be to axe his own limbs, being such great players IPL fans and even cricket viewers will miss there absence, but it was required to ensure fair judgement on the dumbest and filthiest act they did.

The current lack of form of the Sri Lankan men’s cricket team seems to have rubbed off on the women’ Team as well. The men’s team lost to Bangladesh and India at home in T20s. The women’s team could manage only 126 in their T20 match against Pakistan. The Pakistani team gave their fans a scare, but in the end won by one wicket with one ball remaining.

To be frank i just find these things blown out of proportions, they tampered with the ball and they accepted it, there are many things in sports that are much worse than this and they wanted to ban for an year for these sort of violations, people cannot even be aggressive in the field, Kagiso Rabada got punished for celebrating after taking a wicket and he got suspended. The ball tampering situation must be avoided and they cannot get away with it with all the cameras zooming in on them, it was a stupid decision by them.

It was a dramatic collapse by the Australian team. Of course, there was no way they could have put up a strong show, given what must have been going through their minds. Captain and vice captain stood down, and more disciplinary action coming their way. From 57/0 Australia collapsed to 107 all out. The result was never in doubt once they were set a target in excess of 400, but this collapse could have been avoided.
The drama continues for Australia, the political leaders calling the shots here by asking Smith to step down as captain which is unwarranted and they could not handle the pressure well as they collapsed in the end, it is a sport and with cameras zooming on to the players all the time they have to be careful while doing these activities with the ball.  Cheesy

This is one of the worst behaviours from a well-reputed cricket team in the world. Actually, cricket board should ban Australia for playing world cricket for some time so then next time no one will do this type of ball tampering. They openly accepted that it was a pre-planned scam so not just players but the whole team need to ban. SA played a good cricket to win the match finally.

Yes I agree that it was wrong and a bad thing to do by the Australian team but to ban them from world cricket is a bit too much as many teams have done this in the past. I think bans on the players who were involved is good enough which looks like they could be getting 1 year bans from the game. If the whole team was involved then they should all get the 1 year ban and that will make way for some other Australian players looking to get a shot at playing for their country. We shall see what happens in the coming days.

Suppose if the whole team involved and they get 1 year ban means I don't know how the Austrailian board will manage, it is hard to replace 11 members from new players and next world cup is there how they can train new players and make the team strong.  Seriously this is a foolish act from a reputed team.

A shameful lose from Australia as they have beaten by 322 runs against SA.It's really shameful act my their players what they have done. And in the second innings, they lost thier all wickets for scoring just 107 runs.So I think Australian team is in big trouble and I hope they will bounce back on next match.
Now they are down on moral and body language is also not good enough so I don't think they came back in this series they will go down by 3 - 1 which is very poor by them as Players Smith was one of best in current time but as leader he done very shameful which will be not forgotable now time for ICC to act hard and give them tough punishment which could be example for others as well

Smith even step down from IPL team captain and mostly this will end his cricket carrier. These guys are really stupid because winning and losing is a common thing in a game but this is not a way to win the game. The punishment should be very serious then only in future these kind activities can be prevented. Until now everyone was suspecting about Pakistan team players for ball tampering and now on Australia is included in that list. It looks like many team members are included in this cheating, not just those three or four guys. They should conduct a complete investigation to find out full details.

NZ needs more 7 wickets on the final day of the test match against England.England made a good opening on second innings, they have scored 132 for lose of 3 wickets.I think NZ will pick up 7 wickets of ENG on last day and seal thehe match.England have to babat very well if they want to avoid the lose.
England lost the match credit should go to New Zealand for the way they played. Almost one half day match did not happen because of rains still they managed to win the match by picking 20 wickets of England. Trent Boult bowled really well and earned well deserved Man of the Match award.

England managed to give some false hope to their fans, by batting stubbornly in the second innings. The seventh wicket partnership of 87 runs by Stokes and Woakes provided the possibility of them escaping with a draw. A wicket just before tea opened up the tail to the New Zealand bowlers, who duly finished it off in the final session. In the end, a New Zealand victory is the only fair result that this match could have.

Australian team is actually in shambles now. They've done the stuff which no one expected from them, and they're probably going to take months to recover from this damage of shamefulness. Bounce back in next match is highly unlikely.
I really doubt whether we can say that we never expected them to do, but they usually used to carry on with all the tricks in the book to win a game and now they are caught red handed and there is no way they could shy away from the fact and so is the reason they accepted it and if they could bounce back in the next match i am sure everyone will forget this incident .
