Well lets hope not as that would be a disappointing Champions Trophy. I think the tournament should of been held a month from now as the weather would be a lot better as it would be Summer in England, I think it is now but it just started so the middle of Summer would of been better for this tournament. Let's hope that today's match doesn't get washed out as it will be an interesting match between Sri Lanka and South Africa. South Africa are heavy favorites and should win but I wouldn't count Sri Lanka out of it and at $4 I think it's good value for an underdog.

Yes, in this series couple of warm up matches also was washed out due to rain. But yesterday's match wash-out was very disappointing to NZ team because they were in a position to win the match but luck was with Australia team.

Today got another match between Sri Lanka and South Africa. By looking at current SL performance we can guess today match SA may win if rain don't disturb the match.

Yesterday match bad luck for NZ I think they had a chance to win the game but rain spoiled that. And yes rain may disturb other games also. Today's game SA vs SL, of course, SA is a hot fav in this game. In practice match, SL scored 350 runs against NZ, but they lost that game. So it looks like SL bowling is weak. I will go for SA.

Another washout for either of the teams (say against Bangladesh) might put them out of the tournament. We have to blame the ICC for the scheduling of these matches. I know that the available slots are limited, but do we have to play in England at this time?

Yeah, New Zealand have been playing good in the batting as well in the bowling track. But I don't describe it an disappointment for New Zealand, because by the second innings start the pitch has changed a lot due to the weather conditions, which served as a advantage. Australia is not that bad, it could have been a strong chasing as partnerships were gradually increasing between players though wicket fall often.

It was unfortunate that the match between New Zealand and Australia was washed out. More so for New Zealand as they were looking like they would win the match after posting a good score and taking early wickets in the Australian innings. Australia were lucky to come out of it with 1 point and now it will be interesting to see which teams will make it through in this group. England would be happy with the result and same goes for Bangladesh as this also now gives them hope to make it through if they can upset New Zealand or Australia.

It would have being a very interesting match and with wickets being lost at regular intervals the possibility of a New Zealand win was higher and they were really unlucky to test the waters and it could have being a good match,some of the matches are pretty straight forward and i am looking for good matches from strong teams rather than one sided encounter.

SA is a better unit and considering the Aamla form and their fielding SA has advantage compared to SL. But its a different game considering the pressure and playing away from home will make the difference. I hope it should be full 50 over match and should not be reduced due to rain,

Even if over gets reduced hope the match doesn't get cancelled as today's match. I also think South Africa has more chances to win as I see Sri Lanka being inconsistent in their previous few games. Imran Tahir is also in a good form. Wishing to watch ABD showing his extraordinary batting skills.

They chose to bat first keeping weather in mind . It rained and it will be difficult for Aussies to chase as ball won't come on to the bat . I think its great decision by NZ but still should see how Aussies perform , right now it looks like NZ will post 300 ( 46 overs).

i think we cannot take new Zealand as light because they have the best bating order and have good batsmen as well as bowlers who can really give tough time to Australia, result may be anything but i am hopeful that the match will be more interesting and will be a good fight between the two teams. lets see who win the match and my favourite team is New Zealand.
