The question is how fast England can play in morning session tomorrow to let a good score for India which should can be defended as well. It is limitation of time which shows that this test match has clear ending at draw. England needs at least 350 runs on the score board and what if India doesn't play fast. At this point in best interest of the both teams will be to make this match draw in my opinion.

England is in very strong position and I think it will give tough time to India when it will come tomorrow for batting off of the day 4 it has lead of 163 runs, tomorrow it will take chance to win this match and get it into leading position, India is not looking good because their bowling attack is not so good.

There are roughly 30 overs left to complete the day fourth match between England and India. Now in remaining time total 130 overs can be played and 20 wickets are in hands for both teams. This shows clear picture that this match has no direction but draw between them. There is very limited time to make this match result oriented.

England is in a dominant position in this match as of now and could yet force a win if they give their bowlers enough time to take ten wickets. England is leading by 163 runs, and all ten wickets are remaining in this second innings. They need to score another 150 runs fast tomorrow morning and need to take all 10 wickets also fast then only then can win this match otherwise it will end in a draw.

England is very careful with its batting for 2nd and now it extend its lead to 122, it is good to see India failed to trial 537 runs and all-out on 488 runs but I think this match will be ended with draw as like it is moving forward there, if England will play till tomorrow than they can try to invite as on lunch break.

Even if England batted for first session with good batting and giving a defendable score and try to give their bowlers a chance to get all out India and win this match. But mostly it will be draw.

I don't get what can be the result between Eng-Ind test match as India did not complete the target and now England are trying to build a target for India to chase down tomorrow. If they wait to make 250+ runs, the match is a draw else if they stop at 150 and make India chase down around 200 runs, we can get a result but it seems a draw now.

Australian pitches are not showing any support for batsmen and are slightly more faster but this thing is going against Australian team what we saw in last test match too. South Africa using its great form somehow covers losses of one inning in other which is putting it in better condition. South Africa seems again good whereas in England vs India I will do agree on draw because of the time.

South Africa gave big shock today because nobody was expecting for that kind of low scoring innings from Australia, South Africa is now leading by 86 runs at the end of day 1 and lost 5 wickets, but I think now it will be much hard for Australia to make comeback into this match after this kind of performance.
really did not expect Australia to be bowled out for just 85 runs ,what a humiliating experience in front of their home crowd ,South Africa is leading by 86 runs at the moment but they have already lost half of their side .

Australia are fighting back
I do not think Australia could come back in this match after scoring their 32 year low runs in test crickets. I have already bet on South Africa once they start leading with plenty of wickets in hand.

if they can get these last 5 wickets out for around 50 to 100 runs then they give them self's a chance at trying to win this test match as they don't want to loose this test as South Africa would then win the 3 test match series. There is still rain around so hopefully it clears tomorrow.
No, South Africa also is having very strong batting line up. It would be too hard for Australia to build up from here after conceding a lead in first innings. But, cricket is well known for drastic changes so anything could be possible for Australia with their home conditions.

Only few runs away from follow on, so even if wickets continue to fall without doubt will cross 450 as the pitch supports much to batting. Possibly the final day decides the match result, sure both teams will be in a hectic situation with limited targets for winning.
This match is clearly heading toward draw. Seems a dead pitch. If India do any 'South Africa work' like less than 100 runs in England's 2nd innings then there could be some hope for a results.

What a terrible pitch Australia all out on low total just 85 runs, South Africa is batting on 142 runs with lose of 5 wickets, now it looking South Africa is in very strong position and looking strong to win this match and series too, Australian batsmen are not looking fit for this test series same happened into this test match too.
Not a terrible pitch, let's call it a bowling pitch I suppose ? Forgive my unawareness ,I skipped the pre-match stats.South Africa is just above the edge of winning line.Still under pressure of Australian Bowlers.I see the match still has 50-50 chances for both the teams.

SA will easily win this match if they bowl well in second innings too , its clearly a bowling pitch and SA should take full advantage of that . Odds for SA is 1.41 which I think is very impressive as there is no chance for a draw here and clearly Australia are far behind .
On the other hand ,
Ashwin - Saha partnership is looking good , India may take lead in the first innings according to me.

team india is batting really sensible and the captain has already decided this to be a no result match ,so is the determination of the indian players that they really played defensive tactics scoring a very low pace of just under 3 runs per over and not giving England any chance to win this match ,india still need 218 runs and i am sure india will overcome the score
Now this match is going only for batting practices because pitch is very good for batting no result expecting but England done great job with 3 centuries in first test hope we have some very good cricket from both teams as rest of series will progress
The pitch they are playing is a new one and this is test really tested the patience of the bowlers ,if England scored three centuries India already scored two and expecting one more from the captain and so this match will be a confidence booster and i expect to see better pitches in the rest of the series

I also agree this pitch is helpful for batsman and totally diffferent from Mirpur,Bangladeshi pitch. So, both teams batsman will enjoy their batting.Again,I think this match is going to be drawn cause both team is playing nicely and scoring runs.So there's no chances of winning or losing.

Besides this, Australia is on backfoot.Because they all out by scoring only 85 and South Africa lead by 56till now.So, South Africa have a good winning chance here.

Those 2 wickets feel so quickly but Murali and Pujara played reall well. With Virat Kohli, I can only hope he stays there to score those crucial 200+ runs to make the score equal. Hoping for any extra runs would be like expecting too much as I don't have hope from the remaining players.

Only few runs away from follow on, so even if wickets continue to fall without doubt will cross 450 as the pitch supports much to batting. Possibly the final day decides the match result, sure both teams will be in a hectic situation with limited targets for winning.

Australia are off to a poor start in the 2nd test against South Africa in Hobart currently at 2/5 with both of Australia's opening batsman out for 1 run each. Play is just about to start after a short rain delay and Australia would want to start making some runs or else they will loose once again even though there is rain around. Australia need to post at least 300+ runs in the 1st innings if they have any chance at winning this test match.
