I am not totally disappointed in them, they did put up a good total but the pitch had nothing to bowl on and Australia being the better side, they recovered from 2 early losses and went on to win, which was expected of them. And one side has to win, but it was still a good match to watch.

ya it is true 310 is also easily chasable afte loosing 2 wicket , the partnership between smith and bailey made australia win the first match, the record of rohit sharma scores 100 runs (century) that game india confirmly loses and same thing happened. last year same 2015 jan rohit scored 100 (century) and india lost that match and that match was also with australia

2015 and 2016 india started with loses in the match.

This pitch was fully flat and was supporting for batsman that's why all batsman scored lot of runs easily. Anyway both teams were played very well but at the end Australia showed there are best to pull the match towards them easily. India should have scored another 30 to 40 runs because they had lot of wickets in hand.

Sran, new indian bowler picked up two early wickets both openers but centuries from Smith and Bailey helped Australia to chase down this big total. India's bowlers had started very well in the beginning but after Bailey-Smith started playing than Indian bowlers couldn't do any thing. Overall both teams did a good job today but India failed to defend there quite big total.

I am also interested to see when Rohit Sharma will make score his century into this match he is very close to get this milestone just 8 runs away from now.

He was completed his century now his score 123. Now he is increasing his strike rate if he maintain this SR and played full 50 overs we will get 1 more double ton from him.

Yes i agree with this compare to Indian blowers Aus blowers are in good form and its speed pitch but they are straggling to take wickets so betting on Ind is bit not good but Ind give target 350+ and takes Aus early wickets means chances are there to win this match.

Both batsmen are playing very nice and showing very good performance for India but i also think this pitch looking batting friendly that is why India go first for batting so still Australia has chance to stop them under 300 runs.
