As far as I know, AMD has said it would enable 12 cards this October on the biostar b250 and 19 cards on the Asus B250 mining expert on December 2017.
From the info-graphic Asus posted, the B250 mining motherboard only supports up to 11 AMD GPU's with the new Windows driver. For 19 cards in Windows, you need to use at least 8 Nvidia P106 mining cards apparently.

Can anyone confirm that this works for 6x vega56 as well? I have read the article i just want to make sure before i buy the rig

New option in Radeon Settings toggles the ability to switch to Compute/Graphics mode.

Looks like AMD is realizing GPU mining is going to be around a while
