Many countries started to blame China for the spreading of this virus and now USA,JAPAN and UN also started to say this publicly so possible more companies will be moved from China, the next one is digital payment mode which will be encouraged more after this pandemic. And finally, more taxes will be collected by your government after things gets back into normal.

so the government will certainly have to lower interest rates in the long run and this is an opportunity for us to develop business ideas.
I think the interest rate reduction has been done in several countries to overcome the economic crisis caused by the epidemic. This will lighten the burden on society and expand their business after the epidemic ends.

I think that cafeterias and restaurants should be kept close as well.
There is still a lot of danger for contagion in those areas as well. However, governments think that if they keep close those services then the economic crisis is going to be more deep.
There is no choice anymore, by closing the cafeteria, restaurants and other public places that become a gathering point for people must be closed. This was done to control its spread. Maybe it will not close it permanently but there are some rules that only allow take away for restaurants. The government knows better what to do to overcome this pandemic and economic crisis, we as citizens must be preventive and keep up with the advice given by the government.

There is still going to be some sort of self-restriction after this pandemic. Moviehouse, cinema and large gathering services will mostly suffer for a short time as people will like to avoid such place as the memory of coronavirus is still fresh and is better to stay safe until a vaccine is found.

Both sides are not going to favor the government whatever decision that they've going to take there's risk behind it, most people are excited to go out and live a normal life but are you willing to risk your own life knowing that the virus still possible to be around.
This pandemic virus leave everyone worries both physical and financial aspects.

Economic crisis will be a heavy word for the current situation. I'm just afraid that everyone's consumption habits will be different and businesses in the service sector will have a hard time creating consumer habits again. I believe our economy will recover slowly and will face many difficulties. so the government will certainly have to lower interest rates in the long run and this is an opportunity for us to develop business ideas.

Gold will keep rising, people will keep losing jobs, the economy will keep slowing down. Recession is not coming we are already there.

We already took the big hit which will trigger far bigger events.

This is the bear of all bear markets.

With these negative interest rates, it would be nuts to keep money in a bank. Physical gold, physical cash and some crypto is all you need to survive.

Save every penny you got, don't buy any luxury stuff.

How long do you think the crisis can last after the epidemic?
What are the most likely events to occur?

It might take a year before everything will go back to normal.

Entertainment industry - they cannot just shoot their pictures and be in groups or with kissing scenes.  Grin
Concerts and sports will not be allowed yet until there is clearance.
It will be difficult to have social distancing with those kind of events. There is just no fun anymore.

Businesses - factories, constructions, transports, etc.
Most of the affected will be those which are composed of using man power.
Many people will still have a problem looking for a job after being unemployed due to this pandemic.

For rich country they can make a solution to actually flatten the curve but for poor countries and the 3rd world ones, I think it may take a year or more. In our country which is Philippines, the numbers of getting infected is still increasing day by day and actually it's getting worst! The only solution that I see is if the cure has been develop. Cause there's no way our country can contain this virus and stopping it to spread. It's sad but I hope the cure will be develop as soon as possible.

I'm sure it's would be not the same as it will. Many of people will afraid to interact to each other and economy will take a lot of time before it will totally recover. Business will slowly open and get back to normal. This deadly virus will surely stick to our brains and others might get traumatize because of it. People also learned to this kind of crisis like live healthy, stable income, and savings. Appreciate every effort of our health workers and the time we spend together with our family.
Yes. Everything will not be the same again after this epidemic. But we can still recover but it will surely takes years before everything will be back to normal. I'm sure we have learned a lot of lessons from this epidemic and hopefully this will be the start of a better environment. More crisis are expecting after this corona virus battle that will make our country's economy still suffer even years after.

Hoping that this pandemic ends in Q3 of this 2020, so that business and works go back to normal because people have no money to earn due to the risk of getting the disease if people still go to their job. There's still a possibility that everything will go back to normal but it is not guaranteed a 100%.

Some people are still hoping that as soon as possible, our scientist develop or invent a vaccine so that we can recover faster than we are expected. Government really have a hard time maintaining and give support to its people most especially that poor people have nothing to sustain their lives during this quarantine.

I know that we just need to become strong and take care of ourselves from the virus. I understand that not all of us can eat 3x a day, that's why some people who have a good heart give donations to people who really need help and financial assistance. This virus will surely end soon we just need to cooperate with the government.

It is too early to talk about this. First we need to overcome the coronavirus and see what state the world economy will be in.
NO, not too early. Viewing what's happening in the future from the beginning, will make us have enough time to plan everything well. We need some strategy to anticipate the worse things to happen. But remember to consider current or valid data related to the economic situation and prediction in the near future.

Handling the coronavirus firstly is a must, how we can plan for the upcoming economy if it still lasts. If we look at South Korea, this country can overcome Covid-19 quickly. I think other countries will follow it. They must learn many things from the countries that can handle Covid-19 well. At least, we have China and South Korea.

After this pandemic, there will be massive job losses and the future of traditional working settings are going to be redefined to conserve space, cut cost and pay less in tax while working smart. Some weak economy are certainly going into recession expect there is a divine intervention by God.

People needs to be more aware as we seen how this pandemic virus affects the entire world, lots of people died because of this virus. For sure it is still fresh from anyone's mind and they will think of their lives before anything else. Avoiding places who caters lots of people are very possible to many who
cares about this virus.

I can’t even imagine what’s going to happen after the pandemic, and the things I imagine are not things that I wish would happen. The lockdown that are being placed in countries in the globe is really affecting them, and we face serious recession afterwards. Leaders around the world are now trying to ease the lockdown, they have announced in my country that they will ease the lockdown starting from May 4th, but people were advised to maintain social distancing and wear masks when leaving their homes. I’m afraid that the situation might get worst after this.

I read an article on theconversation.com and the writer explained step by step what’s likely to happen after this pandemic. They stated about four futures that will affect our life after, and they are the state capitalism which will focus on prioritizing exchange value, and Barbarism which is a bit similar. Then the next two which are State socialism and mutual aid that priorities protection of life.

If a country can complete the corona pandemic within two months, the country will enter a recession stage, but if the pandemic is prolonged for nine months, the recession will become depressed and if the pandemic continues for more than two years there will be a great depression.

The left economic model is socialist and the right economic model is capital. The active left socialist now is elitist left which is state capitalism where the state-owned enterprise is economic driven. While the lower right capitalist is anti-progressive on state capitalism or opposes the nature of its business. There is no right wrong in the two understandings above or one is better than the other, everything is the same, only the needs are different.

The upper right with its bank support is the minority who control the majority's wealth, the upper right system makes the lower right or the small and medium business sector depressed and have no financing options. The elitist left of state-owned enterprises right capitalist monsters who press regulators uses officials to use the power of its oligarchy. To advance the economy the government must be pro-lower right.

How long do you think the crisis can last after the epidemic?
in my opinion the crisis can be longer if people think they want to be rich and live in luxury, but this crisis can be very short if people think of living simply, accepting any situation with a sincere heart

thats true because if people want more money or power they will create such virus again or other hazardous threats that can trigger crisis because in thier heads they think they can benefit with it which is true like what happen now   . dunno if this virus is man made or made in china but china is now the first to recover and now making money by selling supplies  , cures and other stuffs that can help lessen the virus   .  i agree on you that if we people will try to live simple i think we can be more happy without crisis whatsoever

We still need to be careful when going outside.
Frankly, I don't think any extraordinary measures are going to have to be taken for us to interact with each other like we did before the coronavirus outbreak--though I'm sure this whole situation has created a lot of new germaphobes who weren't that way to begin with.  We're going to have to keep up good hand-washing practices and not touch our faces so much and not sneeze or cough indiscriminately, but face masks and physical distancing won't be necessary (IMO....but we'll see).

It'll take a while before life starts getting back to normal, but I have confidence that it's going to happen.  Hopefully people will be able to return to the jobs they had during the shutdown, and--even more importantly--the economy won't be as damaged as many analysts predict.  That's the main thing I worry about.

Based on my speculations, after this pandemic there is still risk of getting the virus because if the vaccine is already invented or discovered, it is not 100% guaranteed that it will immediately distributed to the mass. There are 7.8 billion people this year 2020, and do you think that all of us can get the vaccine simultaneously?

I'm sure that it will take time for that to happen when we are now safe from the virus but after this pandemic, we should still take care of our health. As much as possible don't go outside if you're not really going to work. Still avoid some populated places and gathering because there is still a risk of transmission of the virus.

Don't worry, everything will go back to normal as soon as possible, we just need to wait for that to happen and be patient about our government. Physical hygiene should still be practiced so that you're safe from the virus while going to work. We will soon recover from this crisis, most especially our economy and medical industry.

Let's help each other, especially, those people who are in a lower class and fighting with the poverty and famine. Let them hear by the government so that they take actions with that and be responsible for the people who really needs help, no matter if there is a pandemic or none.

We cant say how long, what I know is after the lockdown is lifted payment for bills like electricity, water and house rent are waiving and thinking about it gives me headache.

Even we go back to work it wont be the same again because I have this fear of getting the virus (because they cant accurately say that everyone is clear) if ever someone outside or one of my co-worker is infected.

The economy needs time to recover as well as the government since they use their funds to support the needs of the people while in lockdown.

In my opinion we cannot guarantee will be over soon unless we already fabricated a vaccine that would create assurance that everything will be fine and will not put danger to everyone to come outside in order to continue life back to normal on daily basis. Everyone are affected, even Bitcoin and whole crypto world suffer too much damage that brought drastic downfall for everyone. Let's just hope soon vaccine will be propagated to ensure full recovery of world economy.
