It is better to experience crisis especially at some point in your life when you are very down. Then in an instant an opportunity knocks on you, there's no reason why you don't  grab it, chances are it would change your life forever.

Wanna make a quick million?  Here's how:

Greece is going to be VERY Euro hungry for the next 3 months.  Fly to Athens with a big bag of cash.  All Greek people having relatives in foreign lands (with bank accounts) can send you bitcoin.  You pay their relatives in Euros.  This remittance operation would be insanely busy in about 5 days.  You'd need a courier and body guard each day flying in with new cash.

Instant millionaire.

It is supposed that the relatives of Greeks which lives in foreign lands have bitcoins. I think that Greeks doesn't know yet bitcoin. Even their relatives which live in foreign lands. Then you must have a cargo with euro to give to the Greeks. I don't have those. So, for those two reasons for me and for everyone this operation is mission impossible. Ah .....  forgot. Not for Tom Cruise. Him can do it. If you know him you are very lucky because he must need collaborators.

So basically take advantage of the crisis .Take advantage , as non-greeks have an easy supply of euros. Also while taking the advantage , Bitcoin can be promoted hugely for the noble cause of other people.

There are a lot of defects in your 'instant millionaire' plan . Also it is not guaranteed. Firstly, to pull this off, you need to already wealthy. Although it might be possible, it is very impractical. It may lead failure. Also , the availability of   all the  things you need for this scam is very low.

As Warren Buffet says, when others see crisis and despair, others see a fertile land full of opportunities. Too bad Warren Buffet itself still fails to see the insane opportunity that Bitcoin constitutes.

it's funny because he said that but he is still against bitcoin, also some times, that sentence is wrong in certain situation, many will follow the wave, does not matter it the wave it's bad for other or good for another group, they will follow it and make it stronger

so a downtrend some times isn't a good opportunity to buy in...

Not a good idea, at any point of time finding a solution through the shortcut methods never worked out for longer period, it is better for Greek people to stay there and keep their money flow inside the Greece, Most crisis will get very worse when the investors halt their investment in the market.

Although you have a highly vivid imagination ,it is very impractical and futile. Also it is not a foolproof plan. There is a lot of infirmity and it may lead to failure. Also , the availability of   all the  things you need for this scam is very  inferior.

I think that if there is a will, there is a way. Maybe if he has the money, he can get his own personal jet to fly. He can then hire 3 trusted people to distribute money with him on the down low. Having body guards is a nice idea but I am not that kind of a guy who will trust any body guard, I would rather ask my homies to take a part in this operation. We target one city per day and keep travelling in our own car and deal from inside the vehicle itself.

I have never thought of making money out of a crisis, I don't think I would stand by the idea of doing it. However, if this has to be performed legally, I would love to be involved. Maybe with the help of bitcoin org we can set up exchange centers for currency and provide them recharge cards which can be accepted by the stores and other places of spendings. These vendors can transfer their money anytime with the btc they receive.

People are trying to get their Euro's out of the banks and with the limit on withdrawals you would find it more difficult to get these people to use that limit to buy Bitcoins. I know of someone going there in September, to visit his relatives, and was thinking about this too, but decided against this. It feels wrong somehow to profit from people who are in a crisis. ^but that is just me^

When travelling between EU countries you can only carry up to 10'000€ cash (source) afterwards you have to check with the authorities if you are allowed to. I am not sure how in the current situation this would play off. Doing more "round trips" would probably quickly raise suspicion among authorities and border control.

Also, the title should be "How to become a Bitcoin millionaire if you are a standard millionaire".
The whole plan depends on the relatives who could send you bitcoins. Does everybody have relatives abroad that would send 5000€ worth of bitcoin? Plus, a business plan of selling cash sounds dodgy at best, illegal at worst (tax?).

Most importantly, are YOU doing this? Roll Eyes

Are you sure that this is what happening there since 5 days ?, come on man, Greece crisis getting highlighted concurrently as a failed state and it's become habitual and entertainment for so many people now a days, every country has ups and downs, Back many years, even the United stated of America fell in the poverty line, and remember once upon a time Britain too fell in the poverty line which force some parents to sell their children by displaying the sign boards (read wiki about this). Still Greek people are rich not all but mostly average and definitely the Government is poor. FYKI where are those people in Greece who lavishly enjoy their life with tax free environment years back ?

After crisis new opportunities always come all sectors will try to reactivate them self, trying to move the economy or the cultural sock, people will emigrate to a different country some will stay, special government deals with other countries or companies will begin.

step by step things will get better the hard part is overcoming the pass and not falling there again.

Won't this be counted as money-laundering if done???

indeed i doubt you can just walk away like nothing with millions of money
you need to transfer that amount to someone else in greece that is not affected by the crisis
maybe a rich guy, with him you can do 50/50 on the total revenue, if this thing succeed
also you need to cover your traces on all your bitcoin, otherwise they might tax you twice

People already do it, but this is higher people with higher networth that pulls it off.

Like did you know apple has a hedgefund? and they actually own a lot of the stufff globally, not that anyone cares. But to take away from what I have to say people use companies to backline from the tracing to something called a double irish sanwich which covers the company tracks.

Basically this.
If you want to be a millionaire coming from being low to middle class like most people, your plan doesn't work. This risk would only be worth it for the already relatively wealthy.

A very nice idea, but I would like to finger your imagination by letting you know that every country has a limited amount of money which is allowed for the tourists to bring into the country in hard cash. They would not let you past the airport, ask you a lot of legal questions, even pin down shit on you and send your ass to jail. I would rather sit at my home and plot ideas than fly on an airplane with a body guard and a bag of money just to get my ass to jail.
