Business is business, Binance wouldn't make a decision that they won't gain anything. In this case, They are sure aiming for a good marketing from football fans and of course from Ronaldo, It's about showing his fame and of course money from both sides.
Their fame of Ronaldo is of a big scale and Binance is truly on the win on this one. With millions of fans worldwide, let's just if Binance managed to make a thousand to a hundred thousand from those fans. Look who's on the win and you're right, it's Binance.

I remember celebrities hyping some random tokens before and being paid. They should be smart like Rolando because he all do is to make his own NFT than being accountable in promoting a random shitcoin that surely get rugged after the developers abandon the project.
Many of those didn't do their due diligence before hyping and having a commercial from those projects and they have to take the recoil of it to themselves because most of them have been sued by the SEC.

Probably you should spend some time reading about those worthless NFTs to understand the reason why A football Icon like Ronaldo is getting involved. Don't tell me it is all about the money because that will sound very ridiculous considering he is among the top earners in football history.
People keep referring to NFT as worthless (and I know most are) but it kinda surprising to see the caliber of people in top positions in sports, entertainment, fashion, politics, and businesses jumping into this worthless trend! NFT is not the only trend to make money from yet the interest in it keeps increasing. Why is that?
Perhaps those getting involved can see the future and knows the benefit of jumping in at the early stage. Besides this is not just about Ronaldo but the entire NFT space.
I think Ronaldo is having a business deal with Binance is the first reason, but anything that may be the reason, it is still a means to make more money, for Binance and Ronaldo. There is no other reason why Binance will in be sport than to make more money, also no reason why football players will involve in crypto than to make more money, that is the reality.

All companies are jumping into NFT because it is the trend and nothing more than that, they know what people follow bring them more money. Or what can NFT offer in the future?

it looks like Cristiano Ronaldo has just signed a partnership with Binance to have his own NFT collection starting from November 18.

https://twitter.com/Cristiano/status/1592520297290551308?t=hSxjM5-L-rlTKnYICqeEPQ&s=19

Binance is hitting strong the Footbal industry and already counts with several partnerships with many prominent players as well as Football clubs. This is good news for the industry as it brings a lot more visibility to cryptos.
Of course, Cristiano knows when to invest and where. The WEB3 is growing day by day and it is good that the sport of football is brought together with the virtual world. The partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo, Leo Messi, and the famous players was one of the best partnerships, as these famous football players have wide fans who love sports. Binance would like to Bring the sports industry and its fans to join it and increase the popularity of the NFTS of these famous players and the involvement of sports fans in the cryptocurrency market, and I see that Binance and its team have chosen the right time for these partnerships, and it is already before the FIFA World Cup approaching.

C. Ronaldo NFT collection coming on Binance and he want fans to join his Web 3 community, neither is it related to trading nor gambling, it is just about C. Ronaldo and the centralised Binance. Good luck to him if he is endorsed by Binance.

I do not know much about these worthless NFTs that people are making them to worth something, isn't C. Ronaldo selling the NFTs for his own more profits?

Celebrities will only gain from NFTs as some people will want to buy his iconic moments. Which means this is just about C. Ronaldo, but has nothing to do with gambling.

I think Cristiano Ronaldo are gambling with his reputation by getting involved with Binance and also with NFTs. Yes, NFTs might be the trend at the moment, but I see them going the ICO route and it is a road that is going towards a dead end.  Roll Eyes

Also, the relationship between Binance and FTX .....and what happened recently, should signal red flags with anyone that wants to partner with Binance. (They basically threw FTX under the bus....)  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I would agree, maybe sports personalities are really involving in crypto, (was surprised that Brady and Curry are in the FTX bandwagon). And who knows, maybe the hype surrounding NFT's might die in the next crypto cycle.

So this is a big gamble for Ronaldo, although he has a lot of money from playing and endorsement, but still, when everything crumbles with Binance, his reputation might take a big hit as well. So let's see how this partnership will go or how it will last.

Good news for crypto but C. Ronaldo isn’t having his brightest days lately. I heard his team mates don’t want him in the team anymore. That’s a very sad ending for a great player like C.R. On the other hand that’s an incredible thing for Binance/CZ. He shows the world he has the funds to hire anybody he wants. Messi, Ronaldo, Pele it don’t matter. If CZ wants it, it is just a matter of setting the price.

LOL.. at first I thought that Cristiano Ronaldo has become the brand ambassador for the Binance exchange, looking at the title. But then I realized that the partnership is just for the NFT sales (not a big fan of NFTs here). But something is better than nothing. Ronaldo is perhaps the most popular sportsperson in the world right now, and his decision to have some sort of a partnership with the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world is beneficial for all of us. And the timing also matters, as the sector is currently reeling from the impact of FTX meltdown.

Old news. But I am a little bit curious why Ronaldo's NFT collection is coming very late on November 18. With all that is happening with the market right now, I don't think there is much interest for this. Not to mention that the hype around NFT has already died down a lot. This also includes the hype around Web3. Although it seems Web3 has a future, I don't think this is exactly the right time for it. People don't find it necessary at this point.

Anyways, the Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection is coming on November 18 as per the tweet.

https://twitter.com/Cristiano/status/1592520297290551308

It was great that they shared this news with Cristiano Ronaldo. Binance is one of the best in the world. If Cristiano Ronaldo is going to launch an Nft, Binance will create a nice partnership as an intermediary. As I understand it, they are working on a different innovation after Fan Tokens. I'm waiting for November 18.

And there's an ongoing Binance Football Fever. Might be good timing to hype it now that Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collections are about to launch.

Not getting yet into details of this Football Fever but it involved 4 Fan tokens namely, ALPINE, SANTOS, PORTI, and LAZIO.

Their price isn't cheap to consider. What hype. Always DYOR.

This is good news to hear as the whole FTX thing and the partnership with both the Miami Dade Arena as well athletes such as Tom Brady scared me in to thinking that partnerships between professional sports teams as well as athletes and major crypto exchanges/companies might be in a bit of risk of losing potential high end representatives.

I hope Ronaldo's Popularity increases with this cup, as he needs it after the riots involving United.
In fact, I believe that these NFT can be a good opportunity for token holders to earn a lot of money, because I think they should appreciate a lot depending on how Cristiano Ronaldo performs in this World Cup.
Does anyone happen to have the link to the NFT so we can take a look? Or will they only be released after launch?

Cristiano Ronaldo has a huge fan base and one the most successful sportsmen in our time, this sort of thing will be of benefit to both Cristiano Ronaldo and binance. This partnership formed between Ronaldo and binance will not end with Ronaldo as I trust that binance has the ability to extend its relationship and deals to order successful sports people.

I have become very skeptical when it comes to news or business dealings about these centralized exchanges because they seem to be driven purely by profit without considering their ability to manage risk. Ronaldo is a very big and influential brand with a large followership on social media. The only benefit the crypto space would gain from this  partnership is publicity that might be able to attract more crypto users and investors. Apart from that, both Ronaldo and Binance are just advocating for personal gains.

Anything that's associated with Ronaldo is a great thing and for sure this is a deal with massive amounts in the contract. It's good visibility and exposure for Binance.
Ronaldo is huge figure so what binance pay to him to promote their platform is really worth it since his influence is really big knowing how huge the fan base of the guys globally. Binance is now rocking with getting him and for sure this is good addition in terms using Ronaldo on marketing aspects.

Binance is now taking good measures to be more known by global audience so I will not be surprised if they became more successful for acquiring good deals by having those influential person on planet these days.
That's a sure thing, they've got a big collaboration with Ronaldo and exact with the time being for the World Cup. There's no doubt about that, I'm just telling you what could have happened if it's last year.
With the community and support that Ronaldo has, Binance could go that far with those fans that loves Ronaldo and will start to get into the crypto market through Binance because it is what their idol is being partnered with.

I saw this news yesterday on twitter and i must say that binance is doing so much for the industry, though not for free as i believe there is always something in for them to profit, CZ is a good business man and a kind of person every one in the community should learn from, Binance on the other hand is the biggest and one of the most popular crypto exchanges in the world, so i personally am not surprised they are attracting partnerships from all around the world, from different sectors and from well known and prominent people.
But my only fear is that, if anything happens to binance, then the entire crypto market, (which also affects crypto gambling/betting industry) is doomed and will take a very long time to recover, if at all, any recovers except Bitcoin.

I just saw an ad from Binance that they're attracting customers to visit them and take those Ronaldo NFTs. I think it's too late for Binance to hype the NFT thing for any endorser that they have.
It's much better if they've done this deal last year and with the short span, I'm sure that their sales should have skyrocketed if being done at the right time. But, maybe there are still some other deals that Ronaldo has to prioritize. Anyway, will there be a chance that Binance will allow this NFT to be used in gambling material and be partnered with other casinos?

I think still a good deal as we are in the world cup, I mean that is still Ronaldo that we are talking here, one of the best player so there is still a lot of hype surrounding his name. And maybe this is just a test for Binance as well partnering with world class athlete, regardless of NFT or promotion of their crypto exchange or anything that relates to their product. And I think this is huge for crypto, and for sure there could be another crypto exchange that will follow Binance path. But I guess CZ has the bragging rights again as he set the precedence. Probably the NFT hype will go till the next bull run.

Not only with Ronaldo for sure. Popularity is a huge aspect in this industry. Given that he's known in a particular industry, and as you guys mentioned that he has fan base, Binance would make use of his popularity to also be known or recognized by more people. Quite out of the topic but with the dame idea; Actually, to those who are not aware, even celebrities partners with crypto projects and exchanges to release their own token.  I'm talking about individuals who are popular with a not related field but with huge fan base as well. That's how powerful influence is. But unfortunately in my country, those tokens which are listed on exchanges and are under names of influencers and artists, usually don't last for a long run.
