I think most of your questions would be answered here (keep them coming):
Q: Empty wallet questions A: I didn't think that this would cause so much misunderstandings, we will definitely include the answer in our FAQ. The fact is that when we talk about the Bitcoin blockchain, we cannot know the" from address "according to this theory - https: / /en.bitcoin.it/wiki/From_address.
We believe that one of the methods with the greatest certainty is to determine the winner's wallet address from the "out" transaction block for the "change" transaction
For example, we can consider one of the transactions of our participants -
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/854acdd3a778fc3ac4ca7b541dbbbdaaa6d995e6d7ea10ab7c4496dc2a564f93where one of the recipients is our wallet - 1NDkLCpf15cicTXChHZfo2YS12otkdC5NZ
In this case, we can conclude that the second address from the out block is the participant's wallet.
You may question also: "but why are you not taking the wallet address from the in block"? - there are 2 main reasons for this:
1. Some cli wallets, after the transaction, create a new wallet for change, and access to the old one may be lost
2. In some transactions there are several wallets from the block (for example, here
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/257ce19d4da2c8b8c7f3118344e380d8abb4cf801988539d1ae80febd436f37d), and since we have no “connection” with the participant, we cannot determine to which one the winnings should be sent.
This solution is necessary in order to lower the entry threshold for participants and maintain anonymity, since we have no registrations and no connection with the participant, except for his transaction.
Q: I do know that you mentioned in your "FAQ" page about using random.org until you've developed your own tool but how can we be sure that you'll be using them for choosing the winners?A: Regarding random.org
Thank you for your question, we have just launched this project with minimal investment and are testing the interest to this service.
We are indeed using the random.org platform through the official open api to select the winner. We still didn’t implement a tool for transparency, we wanted to get your feedback faster.
In short, we use the generateSignedIntegers method (more details in the documentation
https://api.random.org/json-rpc/2/signed), and you can verify the authenticity through the verifySignature method. More detailed instructions will be published later, after testing the hypothesis about the feasibility of this method.
Also, we will be grateful if the community will advise us for the best way to choose a winner.
Q: The Privacy policy and Terms and condition plagiarizedA: They are not plagiarized, I used a website to generate them, they are pretty basic Terms of use and Privacy policy.
Q: The website looks like a cheap website? A: I don’t understand your disrespect, a lot of time and money was invested into this website and we just launched, if you give criticism at least make it constructive.
Q: You should have provided multiple payment methods like LTC, DOGE, XRP etc in order to address these issues.A: That's right, we fully understand this. But the point is that, as described in my post:" ... my first BTC game project "- we do not have answers to many questions, so we want to develop it step by step by listening to the opinion of the community in accordance with the "Lean software development" methodology (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lean_software_development)
We want to build a base foundation on which new functionality will be added in the future
