I would always give advantage to online casinos. You can  play from the privacy of your home when and how you like. I don't have problems with KYC, that doesn't bother me. Since I'm not exactly the fan of crowded places online casinos are always my first choice and due to the current situation with pandemic and the fact that we more and more live online than in real world, to my opinion online casinos have bright future.

When you submit to the KYC, then don't expect that you are privately gambling, it's better to be anonymous online so you can hide your identity, that is why in my case, I always choose crypto casinos over fiat casinos. Maybe privacy that you can play alone, but for security purposes, I'd go with crypto casinos and that's the reason I support and invested in crypto as well.

Pros:-
           Privacy
           Decentralized network
You can actually stay out of any infections that might spread through person to person contact
You are saving your petrol charges 😂 , so don't worry about paying transaction fee once .
Wide variety of interactive games , that can be played even on mobile .

Cons:-
           Some demands KYC
You don't get the hands on experience that some might want .
You gotta make your own food and serve yourself sitting alone in your room 😂

These are the only things I can think of .

In my own opinion, the cons in crypto casinos is that there are some crypto casino that you can't skip KYCs, and there are some delays when it comes to withdrawing your funds. The pros are in playing in a crypto casino is that it is more convenient than playing in a real casino because you don't need to drive yourself at the casino for you to gamble, and you have your own privacy when you play that you can concentrate on your game.

I used to gamble in online casinos than the physical one thus I dont have much experience in land base casino because im not the type of gambler who go there frequently.

Im contented to gamble online wherever I am as long as I have the gadget to play. Its convenient for me and an advantage because its easy to access as well. The best for me is I can remain anonymous since kyc is optional.
I once played on physical casino before, to be honest I feel small when playing, I have played with some bosses of various company, businessman that you will literally feel small in terms of the money that you've got but I never lose a lot, I know when to stop playing with others especially when they are playing too big. Then I continue playing on online gambling casinos because I find it very convenient, easy to deal with and I don't have to take a long walk on the way to the casino. It's comfortable and it feels like home, literally lol.

^ For me, there are also only a few disadvantages playing using in cryptocurrency like what the other has already mentioned. On the other hand, playing in fiat money has more disadvantages like when you are from a country that your currency will not be accepted then you need to do an exchange first before you can start gambling. Another one is revealing your personal identity if you are using your bank account when you deposited from the gambling platform. Cryptocurrency is already a great idea in gambling as it is accepted in all countries where ever you are from without thinking of foreign exchange. Nevertheless, in all gambling industry crypto is considered a global currency that everyone can use.

Another thing which may be a disadvantage in online crypto casino is that they can scam you anytime. Lets suppose you won a big amount of money in gambling and they may held your withdraw without any reason. On the other hand, if you are physically present in the casino, they have to pay you instantly no matter how much amount of money you won.
From my experience this rarely happens if you know which casinos are reputable enough to play on. There's always a reason why they do it but most of the time they don't disclose it similar to how exchanges give you the same treatment when they suddenly freeze your account.

what I feel that is missing from the casinos that operate online is the feel that a casino actually is made for, I mean gambling and casinos were not made only for profits and losses but the main idea behind casino and gambling is fun and the environment that makes it worth loosing money.
I don't think this is the missing part in online casinos maybe you haven't tried other casinos because there are some casinos with good communities that can be fun at times if you stay long enough and get to know the regular gamblers.

I'll tell you some disadvantages that I noticed when I started using betting sites:

I deposit in bitcoin, for example the bitcoin price is $9000 and I deposit on the betting site 0.01 BTC and win some bet and I stay 0.012 BTC, but the bitcoin price drops a lot to $6000. even if I have transformed 0.01 btc to 0.012 BTC I will be with little profit and sometimes I will have losses, it's an annoying thing that we have to deal with
That is only a disadvantage if you are looking to get more USD and not BTC. If you're looking to double your USD and are afraid to have BTC's value potentially dropping, you'd have to play with fiat instead (or stablecoins).

My usual goal was to double my crypto, not my fiat value. After all, what we are holding in our wallets is Bitcoin.

You could double your fiat value from $100 to $200 with crypto gambling and then have fiat hyperinflation leading to the devaluation of your winnings. Same thing, but takes longer to notice. Smiley

It's not a problem if you are trusting the casino so that's not a matter of trust issues because you're aware of their existence for a long time. And you have no choice but to comply because your funds will be stuck if you won't comply to them.
But if a casino already act from the beginning asking for that without any valid reason, it's time to leave them.
Choosing the right casino is what matters a lot, because if a casino has a good reputation, they will not try to make a bad move to ruin their reputation as they could eventually lose their customers, building a reputation is not easy, therefore those casino with good reputation now will not scam people since they are operating profitably, unless they will do an exit scam which rarely happen in the crypto space.

Choosing a reputed casino is very important if we want not to be scammed. Since many people play at trusted caisno, those casino do not think to scam people for little money and damage their business.

That will only be a disadvantage if bitcoin will always drop, we know that bitcoin also pump, so if the time you gamble bitcoin price pump, how do you treat that? the fact that we are using bitcoin in gambling gambling activities, we are already aware of its volatility and actually its more on an advantage than a disadvantage since bitcoin in general is successful as we can see on its overall growth.

We are all here because we like playing with crypto Smiley

Of course, most people will like cryptos because they are a good profit opportunity and a good business opportunity.

But are there some disadvantages for you compared to fiat money casinos?

I don't think I've seen any crypto casino (without fiat options) that requires KYC.
They will ask if some suspicious activity was seen on your account but nevertheless, most of them aren't really asking for it. I agree with the pro that crypto casinos brought us.

But you know what, I am not actually bothered if a crypto casino ask for a KYC as long as they are legit and credible. Plus, if that particular website already got a wide variety of games, got freebies (like daily bonus etc.) and more — you can find whatever you need. In simple words, if they are the best in this kind of business then it's okay with me Smiley.

However, there's no such thing because the level of competency is so tight so shifting from one another is inevitable and complying KYC every time I shift is not a joke. It is really annoying for sure Grin. That's why a site without a KYC is awesome because we can safely enter and exit in case we want to try new options.

Privacy is by far the biggest pro in my books.

The vast majority of fiat casinos will require customers to complete identity verification before they're even allowed to play. These even goes for some in-person casinos, which scan your ID at the door.

I don't think I've seen any crypto casino (without fiat options) that requires KYC.

There's also the fact that deposits are near instant and the house edge is far lower than fiat places, since there are no payment processor fees to contend with.
If they don't register your identity, they surely do log your IP and browser fingerprint which could be used to identify you if they wanted to.

Most crypto casinos have Tor IPs blocked too, so how do you really get to privacy as soon as they log some crucial information to identify you with? Besides the Blockchain-based casinos (I believe Etheroll is one of them, but requires MetaMask to connect to their website which I'm not sure whether is centralized/decentralized), I don't think there are many options to go anonymous on crypto casinos.

One thing that will at least make me uncomfortable is about privacy, because KYC on the fiat money casino site is something that is required so that we can withdraw our money. Aside from KYC, I think the fiat money casino has the advantage of lower costs too, but it depends on each other's perceptions, because even so, I will still choose to use crypto online gambling or crypto casino because I prefer privacy and not look for lower costs.

No KYC requirement is really one of the best perks in crypto casino. You don't have to deal of sending your docs, where you have no idea where will it end up to after the casino is done with it. I believe a lot of gamblers are now looking at crypto casinos because of this advantage alone.
The very common advantage where most of the gamblers who learned about this venue has been attached l, most of those crypto gambling house offers this features though there are some exemptions due to the company rules. But if you are not doing any wrong there's no problem to take place.
Still there are different opinions in regards to types of entertainment and customers experienced that being take place when choosing the place to gamble.

That's why if you are not familiar with particular online casino, you should read first the feedback or reviews regarding their services. And if you don't want to be a victim of those casinos that will not allow withdrawals in case you win something big, better stick to popular casinos or gambling sites that are here in the forum for long time. They won't scam you because they won't risk their reputation to be ruined.

The requirement of KYC isn't really for us and if you have been gambling for a very long time online, you might be one of those people that passed on validation of identification just to gamble online.

There are many advantages of gambling in crypto casinos, e.g. privacy and speed. Or something else?
But are there some disadvantages for you compared to fiat money casinos?
While it is hard to deny that online casino solves a lot of problems like privacy, the ease of betting at home, amounts (because in real casino you can't bet 1000 satoshi) but what I feel that is missing from the casinos that operate online is the feel that a casino actually is made for, I mean gambling and casinos were not made only for profits and losses but the main idea behind casino and gambling is fun and the environment that makes it worth loosing money.

I have been not able to visit any casinos during these times and now I feel the difference and missing that feeling, it was always worth to play online whole week during free times and on weekends I used to visit casinos and play some card games. I miss those days and that's the basic difference/disadvantage I can think of with online casinos.
