Wow very nice. If all such physical shops start accepting bitcoin and altcoin then the use of cryptocurrency will increase one day. Personally, I love shopping with Bitcoin, because shopping with Bitcoin promotes it and the shops will be motivated to accept Bitcoin. So even though the cost is a bit high, I prefer to use Bitcoin to buy products from online platforms.

And thanks to the owner of this coffee shop for making such a great deal of bitcoin promotion.
I wish all people are like you that thinks of the good side and not only the bad side because so many people now refuse to use bitcoin because of this and that reason but on top of it they want btc to increase its value. I think that was a selfish move because they only think about themselves and wont do actions to make it happen but back on the coffee shop, kudos to them for doing this move but what I only do not like is how they name their products.

I like that they include cyptos to it but it was not that catchy enough like on what i see on most restaurants menu that also have their own twist. I believe they can think of a more better name. It is a must because that will make the coffee shop more interesting.

Deferent types of crypto in the menu?. for me it seems if you order with the one that has bitcoin logo in the menu you need to pay bitcoin as well the same with others. Lol it seems a good idea to be honest in my personal opinion if I'm correct. Because you can easily tracked which is the best seller and of course what type of crypto people are using within your country. Cheesy

I really love the design of their logo. It's that mixed of Cyberpunk and more futuristic touch along with cryptos though.
Loved the menu as well, I might try that Chipotle Toastie Chicken when I travel at Australia one day.

It is something new to watch about cafes and restaurants having cryptocurrency named dishes. This is also a way to create some awareness among common people and with foodies who haven't heard much about cryptocurrencies. Having a crypto cafe in Australia isn't a big thing, but something in India where there is no legal acceptance is really a big effort. Couple of days back during the Indian budget the heavy taxation is made ove cryptocurrency and the same has given people that crypto is legal within the country.
I think it's a great idea though so that people who doesn't have any idea what crypto currency or people with an idea would immediately visit the coffee shop due to curiosity. This gives a vibe for people who want to know more about crypto currency if they were interested and not just in the food and coffee. Cheesy

Anyway, I think I get the idea of Indian government why they have to do it because if they can't stop people from using crypto currency even if they banned it. There will always be a way they could make use of it as long as there is a working internet on their place. So instead of prohibiting it from using why not put a taxation in it so that the country/government will benefit from it.

I thought they would instantly give customers $20 after registration but this is a referral program offered by Swyftx to all users. It also requires you to verify your identity before it is deposited to your account.
On Swyftx's website, they're claiming that the verification process takes little to no time [I guess it's not that bad]:

Well, we have BTS themed cafes and Spongebob themed drinks so why not crypto themed menus. I don't really ever feel these help with adoption but they can't be bad I guess.

Come on, forum, get some Aussie to go there for an episode of Bitcointalk Youtube and see if the sentiment is worth the fuss.

And to all those saying they can't wait to buy coffee with Bitcoin... Well, I wonder what's stopping you before?

Yea! I think this is great actually, the owners are obviously into crypto. Why not
have a crypto themed business? the least it will do is raise more awareness.
It would be nice to see some footage from inside on youtube.

I'm guessing all the staff there would need to know their crypto too, if a
customer asks whats a DOGE BLT? they will have to explain it.

I guess the owner is enthusiastic about using crypto and introducing it as their payment system and for their menu. That is not usual and will make people interested and come to that cafe. $20 as a deposit to have bitcoin, Ethereum or other coins as the payment is not too big for them to start ordering some food using the crypto name.

Hopefully, his cafe can become popular among the others and I am sure the media will blow up the place and once it gets attention from people, the other cafe will start following.

Contrarian opinion to the responses but while I like the acceptance of cryptocurrency payments, lol the food naming based on cryptocurrencies is actually so unnecessarily cheesy that it's so bad.

Obviously the pun was unintended mk4, Cheesy!

Nice idea and great menu. I'll take that xlm karage since I've tasted that before but it's with a twist on this menu, a karage burger. I don't know if that's going to taste the same but I think it's totally different.

I'd like to stay in a place like that and chill out while relieving some stress. Knowing that you have the same vibes with the owner as obvious with the concept, for sure a great conversation would be made in a place like this.

can't wait to purchase coffee and bfast using my crypto ,either Bitcoin or altcoin but there is so far none to be purchased as  I was thinking to have my own small business cafe to accept crypto here in my place.
now that the adoption and the increase in crypto users are there? i believe that it is time to have our small businesses accepting crypto.

What a great concept for a coffee shop , this means one thing that Australia is really into crypto  as they're businesses is concepting towards popular cryptocurrencies , hoping to see more of this kind in the future and also hoping that there will be something alike in my country soon.

though i have come across a thread recently that a Coffee shop is accepting bitcoin as well , so meaning cryptonians mostly coffee lover?  Grin

That’s cool so thanks for sharing. I remember back in the day these type of adoption stories were rare, not many businesses would accept bitcoin. It’s now becoming more & more frequent which is great for us. We’re still nowhere near ultimate mainstream adoption but we will get there.
Thanks to Covid19 pandemic in which this brings businessman tp conceptualized their businesses into the popularity of cryptocurrency .

Yes, I've seen a Coffee website in Australia where consumers can pay using crypto, but in my opinion, people in Australia are familiar with such a system, for other countries it may be a rare and unique thing, as far as I know in Australia crypto is regulated and has good laws for crypto users there, not only that investors and consumers have the privilege of using crypto, what the government and entrepreneurs in Australia are doing is a very smart innovation especially for the people there and tourists.

Conclusion: Australia has innovation and good strides in creating places like Coffee, Hotels and other entertainment venues to facilitate the crypto community in conducting transactions.

This is adoption at the very raw level where a real product and service is sold for cryptocurrency. Interesting to see the owner accepts SHIB. If I live nearby I'd probably visit, drink a coffee and take a photo of me for my Instagram.

Crypto coffee is also providing with a deposit of $20 worth bitcoin while signing up to the cryptocurrency platform Swyftx.
I think it will be valid during their promotion only, not sure if Swyftx will give every customer $20 worth of BTC for a long time. Those crypto holders who live near this Crypto Coffee are very lucky. At least, they have a chance to get $20 worth of Bitcoin. If I stay near that place, I will visit it for sure although I have no idea to pay the menu with BTC/ETH or fiats.  Grin

Anyway, I am curious about who is the owner of this Crypto Coffee? Is he the CEO of Swyftx?

It's possible or someone close, Swyftx is also based in Brisbane.  They claimed to be the most popular in AUS. Every country has one.
