As I see, many of events are not in Europe. A lot of US and Asia in list.
Is it usual, or the situation is so only in February?
I'd like to know more about russian events. Russian ICOs are very active worldwide.

It is just in February. If you look on March, that the picture will be different.
But always there are some most active locations. Like London, Singapore, Zurich... Moscow as well. There are special schedule sites for russian event. Should be easy to find them online.
But blockchain is international. And we like that people come together. fly thousands miles to meet face2face and talk. Thats great))

I think these forums, meets and conferences are a great idea. A realtime interaction and exchange of guided information is greatly needed as people are still new to this community, with very little awareness of its working. Thank you for that List and an interesting debate.

Blockchain conferences, summits, formus, etc. – why we need it, pro and contra, approx. costs and return.

WHAT FOR:

To raise funds for ICO is main and central aim of each ICO project. Any event, conference, forum, summit or meetp. For sure.

HOW TO DO:

1) ICO Pitch
Great opportunity. You need only 10 to 20 minutes to present your project to 100+ or sometimes 1000+ people from all around the world. Plus, your presentation can be broadcasted live on tv, facebook, youtube or some event-media to thousands people worldwide. If Team will be professional and convincing, then potential investors can contact them ASAP on the conference.

2) To show the professional level of Team
If the Team will be represented on the “Big Stage” with own speech to some very concrete Blockchain theme that could show how high is professional level of the team members and of ICO project. Thats help to create more trust to the project and team.

3) Useful contacts
During any big international Blockchain summit you can meet very useful people for you project: investors, advisers, subcontractors, cryptoenthusiasts, entrepreneurs etc. You can create the necessary infrastructure for your project on the highest level.

4) Networking evenings
Amazing opportunity to meet face to face the leading professionals of Blockchain industry. Especial in the evening, after the big long conference day, everyone can relax with some drink or so. Such atmosphere allows very comfortable communication. And best meetings ever. One evening can change the fate of the project.

5) Local meeting in conference days
ICO Teams can use the conference days to organize some local meetings with potential investors, crypto foundations, journalists, TV, online media. The conference is interesting to media, and teams should use it to represent themselves.

6) Tourism & Relax
Some pleasure should be as well. Everyone knows that leading Blockchain events often are organized in amazing places like Singapore, Cancun, Cyprus, London, CA, Puerto Rico etc. Why not use this amazing opportunity and not to spend 1-2 days more?

7) After ICO
Teams SHOULD participate in leading Blockchain events worldwide after the ICO. To show that the project is alive, that team is working (and what they actually do!), tell more about the project, invite testers, users and so on.
Such activity is very useful for Token courses. Tokenholders see that the project in rising, that team is active. They feel safe, and that is very good for token price.

Aprox. prices:
- ICO Pitch: 3K+ USD
- Exhibition: 2K+USD
- Tickets: 250 to 1200 USD
Some professional agency can help to book services or sponsor packets with discount.

Time is money
Teams should start planning and organizing their roadshows as early as possible. For this activity time is everything. You get best “early bird” prices, you get speaker sports, get sponsor packets, get best exhibition places etc. Project reserve and buy everything very fast. You can do it themselves if team has special manager, or let some professional agency organize all for you.

If you do all correct, your roadshow will be successful and bring good funds for ICO.
