Five years is even a long time to think of, in much fewer years from now we should see massive adoption from virtually every sector. Blockchain will stune the world even much more than the Internet.

I think bitcoin development in five years is very good. I hope the next five years bitcoin already dominate online transactions. because the work that is being done right now is making sure that bitcoins are a medium of exchange, we see little conglomerates and small firms that accept cryptocurrency as an acceptable form of payment and some countries.

Tim D may actually be correct with his 5 years view of cryptocurrencies but I'll say the transition of cryptocurrencies in replacing FIAT is inevitable. 5 years time cryptocurrencies will gain more usefulness and at that time governments would have understood what the concept of crypt I and fully support it.
For me, cryptocurrency in five years is the new face of money. We all know that bitcoin and another cryptocurrencies capability are superb and this is the new technological way to pay your bills and transacting your money. I read some articles that this country is using a digital currency that making their state a cashless society and making a payment system in a new level. But in the other hand, many government sectors are willing to prohibit this crypto because they can't control it and they are facing a massive treat in a way that some criminals are taking advantage of this cryptos. But I think that this cryptocurrency just needs to become legal and acceptable, so that is much easy to locate who is doing a wrong thing compared to good or right things. I also hope that this kind of technology support by many people and stop judging because of it’s a new technology that they don’t know.

I am believe crypto adoption in real world will coming soon. Technology always improving and blockchain or cryptocurrency is new technology and new investment in the same time.
Blockchain and crypto will be used most more in 5 years from now, it doesn't mean that the Bitcoin price will be higer than now, but my guess is that btc price will be around 100.000 in 5-6 years from now

Yup, looks like it. Virtual currency is definitely in our future. I'm just curious though how the entire population will be adapting to it. What about those who are already struggling to keep up with their current investments? How can they be assured that crypto won't negatively affect their financial goals?
