I really agree if there will be crypto debit card. because to make it would have been very easy. the main problem for those who have not worked real (eg in the company) like me, it's very difficult to make a debit card. and crypto debit card can be an alternative.

Recently there was ICO Paycent, the essence of the project was to create a debit card.
They collected  20$ million. In Paycent u need KYC.
Now pre-order is opened for ruby cards. They have limitations. I dont exactly remember, but pre-order costs $ 150
One-time payment for the use.
I'm waiting for news on this project and I also follow Monaco

The delivery of their cards has started. I'm also waiting for mine. The app is working fine, both iOS and Android.

Take a look at Paycent card: https://paycent.com/

They are the only project currently which starts delivering their card. Their card comes under MasterCard brand so it will be possible to use all PoS and ATM in the network worldwide. The delivery started today (30th April).

Worldwide coverage expect for few sanctioned countries.

Their mobile wallet app is live and supports BTC, ETH, LTC and very soon Dash, and native PYN token.

I’ve passed KYC and now I’m waiting for the delivery. Will let you now when I use it, but till then you can watch their CEO using it:

Crypto cards dont work now

I believe that they are looking for an alternative provider. I don´t know if VISA has made this move on purpose, but I suspect so. Basically, they accept one single provider issuing cards for cryptos and then proceed to kill it. Bully 100%.

Guys and girls, can you share your experiences/opinions with crypto debit cards? Smiley

Thinking to get one but haven't decided yet which one, would love to hear your recommendations.

Sam

Don't think there are any even working currently, wagecan maybe?
I'd stay far away from these for now, new EU laws and VISA and Mastercard being very anti crypto has shut 99% of them down for now.
TenX is probaby the one to follow if your still interested, they are far ahead of everyone else in the crypto card department.

UK based wirex looks promising. Uses Mastercard and has offices in London and Tokyo.

These guys are a BIG no no stay far away from them. I used them before VISA, Mastercard and new EU laws shutdown all prepaid crypto cards and a ton of normal prepaid cards.
They screw you every which way, very bad rates, hidden fees everywhere, cards need to be loaded.
You don't own the wallet keys and they don't show you the transaction number with bitcoin.

I tried to use the card many times, once or twice it worked many other times it failed because of problems at wirex end. I eventually decided to move away from them and take my bitcoins elsewhere but the conversion from $ to bitcoin failed and the bitcoins disappeared. Customer services is a joke, don't reply, can't speak or type English properly and give you different excuses. Took me 2 weeks just to get my bitcoins back by harassing them on twitter and facebook, wirex twitter even had the nerve to ask me to delete my comments so the company looks better! It's a common problem, comments all over their twitter and facebook has people unable to use a card or with missing money.

I am trying to wrap my head around crypto cards that have their own tokens. Why do they do this? Why do I need a random token to utilize a card and spent bitcoin with that card?

unfortunately, I don't have any experience using crypto debit cards because, in my country, this thing is not yet accepted but in here, only debit cards which are allowed besides the credit cards. maybe if there is any local store that accepting crypto as the payment, we can use crypto debit cards to pay something but I think it is too dangerous because it will look like credit cards but I am not sure about this.

At the moment most of the crypto debit cards are facing trouble as the service provider 'wave crest' has seized to provide service and now they are looking for a new service provider, i think it is good that the crypto debit card providers will now come back with a global provider that will be good for global crypto community.

One of the best crypto debit card is Fuzex its still in ICO phase, and it well end soon i participated its ICO that requires KYC or know your customer verification that you will need to send your passport to be whitelisted, also i partipated the signature campaigns surely i will get a lot of stakes from it after the ICO ended. This is very great project i like the card of fuzex it has a biometric feature you are typically holding a debitcard at the same time cryptocurrency hardwallet,i can assure this will be very massive when it hits the exchanges.

I doesn't have one and would never have one. Crypto debit cards is not a good vault where you can store even just small amounts think about it every time that card will be swipe then there is a possibility that the codes and informations you have in that card will be cracked or be hacked ( I don't think that you'll get my point) , how bout OP should try to open a new account in any bank that is accepting payments in crypto so that your crypto coins should be stored in a cold storage and if ever you want to transfer any amount, then transfer it to your bank account in your debit card.

So that you can blame the teller in personal in the specific bank. Unlike crypto debit cards whatever happens youll just complaining but nothing will happen.

I don't wanna explain further but try to get my point.

Hey brother, you should take a look at stk global payments. The existing solution of crypto debit cards are just not working, instead stk has unique system, you can pay for your stuff by using mobile phone. Their tokens will be listed on 31st of january on cobinhood.

Still a coin who use the system of mobile phone, the "Telcoin" come to be listed the 15 january 2018, too of cryptos use this technology, all this currency go down it's certain!!!

I think that it is dangerous to use such cards now. Recently a visa blocked such cards, and people lost money. Therefore, I think that the use of such cards is evil. I can translate into Fiat, because I consider the use of these cards foppery. Go to the store. While choosing the goods the course of your coin fell sharply, and at the time when you pay, you do not have enough money for you.

The answer for your answer is investing with the new project with their cryptocurrency card. FuzeX is the best answer and they still in ICO phase.

I like FuzeX but the KYC process needs "liveness check" - video from the passport. Not really comfortable with it.
