I think kyc in crypto exchanges should be encouraged because it create room to know customer identity very well
Basically, the essence of KYC is for anti-money laundering policies, which is a normal thing to put in place when it comes to a financial space and looking at the way people can take advantage of the space to launder money from fiat and the likes.

One way or the other, I see KYC as something that will eventually end up becoming a thing generally in the cryptocurrency space as the space gets a lot matured. So as a person, it is only left for you if you want to go all the way knowing the things you get to gain anyway, or you want to stay out.

Kyc is not a bad idea to me.but I think there are so many  exchanges sites you can use without doing.for example, CEX provides a high level of security to its users.

Is anyone know there is any crypto exchangers who dont ask kyc ??

Like its no bs transaction you send them coin they send you money with western union monegram or bank transfer.
Or you transfer them money they dont ask stupid questions they just make the trade happend.
Is anyone like this ? I spoken my friend from former soviet union country he said he dont care if only customers he can do exchanger without kyc.

To me I won't advice you to go for an Exchanger that is less secure KYC is a good part in the take your funds are been secured and it's you details alone that can be used to access them. Exchanger KYC let's say it makes them get to know the individual's coming in their Exhcanger for business. But mindful of EXCHANGERs you exposed your identity to.
Well, is it not the exposure of identity that the whole thing is all about. The main idea is to curb money laundering, so I do not see any problem with that. Do something fishy and then you get caught, stay by the rules and you have nothing to worry about. It is all part of regulation process, take it or leave it, that is one thing that I am sure that as this space keeps getting more matured, this is something we will get to see more of.

I am not afraid of the KYC , I dislike it because it requires more information than really needed. Security is there to protect me from getting hacked, KYC is not security, lets not fool each other nobody puts KYC there so they know it is real you, they put it there because they want to make sure to know who you are and try to identify people who have some bitcoins and what they are using it for.

If for some dumb reason a person of interest gets into bitcoin and puts his face into a camera stating he is the owner of some coins than the authorities could identify that person using his KYC information and catch him before he does something with that money.

In reality no criminal would do such a thing and use someone else account for it but unfortunately the authorities have to do this to make it a bit harder for criminals. Meanwhile the people like me who have no criminal records at all have to work for getting your money out of somewhere.
Well, that is one thing when it comes to the whole verification thing, it is one thing to do KYC, and it is another thing for your profile to pass through verification. A lot of people tried using wrong information in bittrex in the past, and they got their accounts burned for that reason.

It is not a bad idea when it comes to the idea of anti-money laundering, there is nothing there as far as I am concerned, and as long as I know plainly that the exchange is simply trying to abide by the policies of the country where they are situated. It is when you have some skeletons in your wardrobe that you will end up being worried.

You can look for cryptopia. It is one of the best exchange for me because of its interface. I never had encounter any problem dealing with my transaction, market buying and selling, protection of asset and etc. They have fastest transaction ever and last, they do not requre KYC just to deposit or withdraw our cryptocurrency.

I think KYC will be a very necessary issue. Because you need to confirm your identity so that when your account has a problem, they can contact you directly to resolve the issue. Because sometimes there are many investors who have lost or accounts are faulty, supporters will deal with this. so it's pretty important and should not be ignored.

Binance for example doesn't enforce KYC if you withdraw less than 2 BTC's a day, if you want to withdraw more than that daily then KYC is required.

That's what is good to Binance compare to other exchange platform. Like in Bittrex if you didn't submit a KYC to their platform you are only oblige to withdraw at maximum daily at 0.02BTC if I am not mistaken, but to other's I think same goes with Binance too. and KYC was applicable only for the centralized exchange not for decentralized exchange platform.

0.02btc is pretty huge enough and i dont think that someone will withdraw 0.02btc every single day . hello ? The market is not always in a good mood and no one will ever trade or sell coins at a dip  and besides there are still plenty of good exhanges out there that we can use aside from binance that do not require a kyc or any other gimmiks .

In my opinion, we need to use KYC to trade. We really need to identify and need to determine whether you are human or robot. That is why trading floors need KYC to confirm. I just know that.

Trading using bots are not illegal and infact there are now alot of company that sells bot for trading purposes , so i dont think that kyc is invented only to detect bots  .

Overall , i dont like the idea of kyc because it only gives us a hassel and it does also exposes our identity online which is really inapropriate .

If you want to deposit and withdraw using western union and bank transfer then you have to pass KYC which is quite normal. But, if you are dealing with only cryptocurrency then it shouldn't be made compulsory, there are a few exchanges where you have to verify your account to start trading. In that situation, Binance is the best you don't have to verify to start trading.

Why should you be afraid to fill KYC on the exchange market for your own security, which requires participants to fill in the KYC sought by traders because a large exchange requires it
For me, filling in the KYC need not be feared as long as it is not related to crime, because buying anything like cars, houses, even stock exchanges fills KYC. In conclusion, cryptocurrency cannot be anonymous 100%, proven when withdrawal still fills KYC. And, the data can be used by the government for taxes.

I will never give my information to any website aside from my name. That's all I will give to any exchange or any website. I hate that these websites require me to do this, if they require it than I am out. They might be required by the government to do this but if they are required to this by the government than I am not required to stay with them, give me my money and let me go.

They usually don't even do that, if you want to withdraw they require you to give some info, I just declined giving my info and want to get out, how could they keep my money. I will never work with an exchange that requires anything from me, this is the reason why I do not keep a lot of coins in any exchange.

If what you’re looking for is an exchanger that will make payments through western union, bank transfer, then you shouldn’t be looking for one without KYC, cause all of them do KYC. If there is anyone that wouldn’t do KYC then it’s possible they wouldn’t be doing bank transfer. Before anyone can do bank transfer for you it requires you to give some information about your self and your bank info.

I know Kucoin allow you to make a deposit and a withdraw with KYC.  They do however encourage you to KYC!  Sending money through money transfer like western union etc require that you trade in exchanges that pair cryptocurrency with fiat!

If you want to exchange it to fiat then most likely you will go through KYC because it concerns fiat and the government is strict when it comes to those kind of platforms. If you want to buy or sell a coin in exchange of another coin then decentralized are the way to go if the coin you wanted is there. Some centralized exchanges do not ask for KYC if the amount you wanted to transact is below its limit.
When we do talk about Fiat transactions then expected KYC proceedings would really be normal but buying out coins wont really be necessary on having these method yet you can make p2p transactions but somehow this is risky since you are dealing with random people that you haven't known you would really have this method if you don't have any choice but actually you can make transactions on exchangers like DEX or even on Binance yet asking KYC wont be necessary.

I think KYC is not that bad. The main purpose of it is for added security and protection not only to your account but specially to the exchange itself. So they could prevent  from being used, intentionally or unintentionally, by criminal elements or money laundering activities.

Agreed, In fact, I don't see any bad things about giving information in any exchange. Also, it is normal rules that in every exchange they implement this to avoid money laundering and other illegal activities in online transactions. Aside from that every exchangers are registered also to their country which is they really need to required their clients users to apply KYC. If you are making a big transactions to their platform depending on the amount of btc you are going to withdraw it. this was just my opinion only, I don't know if to others this reasons is correct for them.

I also think it's reasonable to provide information to the exchange if it's done for the sake of account security. Both user and exchange should be transparent. For example, CEX provides a high level of security to its users. Though the verification procedure really exhausts, it is totally worth it.

On most exchanges, you can trade without pass the KYC, as far as i know, they allow to trade worth of 2-3 BTC without verification. The other way is to talk with the traders who are in your country. Because it is hard to believe a stranger without bail.

I haven’t seen any exchanger that does without KYC, because it very important for them to be keeping records. KYC is good and very important, the only problem we have is that scammers and criminals are starting to misuse it and also using it as a means of stealing people’s info and selling them on the dark web.

And if you’re going to be asking for your money through western union and all that then you need KYC, because no one is sending you money without you providing some information about yourself.

I think you are misundestood here about something !!

Kyc to provide to exchanger is absaloutely different then showing kyc to western union agent !!
But for money sender you need to give just the name.

2 things are different things.

Offcourse you need to show your id to western union but its ok.
People use third parties transactions a lot to make sure there is no connection between the source of money and with real receiver or sender.

You dont need to be criminal for that people just like privacy.
To show your ID to exchanger who you even dont know not smart move.

Offcourse your identity is at risk in other times too but we cant take the risks 100% ,away we can only make possibility to risk lower !

And its good if nobody dont know about your transactions and about your life.
Thats why its good little privacy.

All the exchanges i know are asking for KYC. This is as a result of fighting money laundry and knowing the source of the fund their customers are coming with. This is mandatory by most recent exchanges especially those who claim that they are centralized and are regulated by the government which make them more legit will always ask for the new customers to pass through KYC>

I think binance allow us to trade without sending any document because as I remember, I only fill the telephone number to be verified and then I can trade in that site. I skip the KYC verification, and I think the difference is the limit of bitcoin that we can withdraw, and I think it's no problem for me, as long as I can trade on binance. Maybe there are small exchangers that allow us to trade without sending KYC but unfortunately, I am not checking one by one, and perhaps you can check by yourself.

it is very hard to kyc s.o they can create fake profile. go to thailand and you will see they sell all passport on street. just spend 1000 bath and you have us passport

that is why many people here avoid joining a bounty campaign that requires KYC because that is the risk of doing a KYC or passing your identification card it may used it for some illegal transactions without knowing by the person who is in the ID specially when it used as passport.

confirm KYC is a tool to find the scammer.

Many people do not realize this.
That's true, KYC is really good for our security its just so happen that some Airdrop, Bounty campaign is asking for this one which is very alarming especially if the project is not that good.

you can exchange cash for bitcoin, such exchanges can be found in your country
You must do your own research about this one, because not all country have their own cryptoexchange. Luckily, we have local wallets here in my place where we can easily convert cryptos into fiat money.

KYC stands for Know Your Customer, is a principle that is applied to determine the background and identity of the customer or customer of the company's service users. This is usually done to comply with regulations regarding the financial transactions that apply in the country where the company operates, as well as to prevent the occurrence of money laundering (AML) cases, never underestimate the KYC process, this is very useful if there are members of the exchange who commit fraudulent actions can be directly processed legally because they already know their identity

confirm KYC is a tool to find the scammer.

Many people do not realize this.

I mean we need also Fiat exchangers without kyc.

and how would that be possible?

Western union money gram, bank transferss, iban sepa, wire transfers.
TrAnsfer wise transfers.
And more options.
And this all should be without kyc at all.

Again, how would that be possible? Why are you so afraid of KYC?

My friend told me he dont care he can do it if he only have enough customers!
His asking me what is the % fee he might take for this kind of service.

eventually your friend will be forced to have license to operate an exchange and will be forced to ask for KYC

If you're looking for a good trading site without KYC then you might be out of luck for that as it is a common requirements now to withdraw funds from the respectable exchanges. It is because that trading could be made as a full-time and become a potential as a business if you're that good in negotiating with the market. KYC for such good sites isn't so bad to satisfy. You might be under 18 that's why you're asking this, isn't it or you have trust issues with these existing exchanges?

Is anyone know there is any crypto exchangers who dont ask kyc ??

Like its no bs transaction you send them coin they send you money with western union monegram or bank transfer.
Or you transfer them money they dont ask stupid questions they just make the trade happend.
Is anyone like this ? I spoken my friend from former soviet union country he said he dont care if only customers he can do exchanger without kyc.
Most of the reputable exchanges will place some limitations on you as long as you have not completed KYC.
At least, for binance, you will still have the opportunity to make transaction of 2btc per day which is subject to change anyway as long as you are not verified.

I would not consider anyone going to a non-trusted exchange all in the name of running away or avoiding KYC. Personally, I see no problem with KYC as long as I get the benefit I want from the exchange and as long as it is reputable.

Since fiat is involved, most exchanges will definitely require you pass KYC or a kind of restriction will be placed on an account without KYC. You can still find such exchange that you are looking for, but first look within your home country exchanges. Just thread carefully

Because when you go to send money with western union the agent will ask kyc anyways !

These days, it's getting pretty tough. Even non-fiat exchanges are starting to implement KYC.

Your best bet is peer-to-peer. Paxful, Localbitcoins, Bisq. More and more Localbitcoins traders are asking for ID though.

My friend told me he dont care he can do it if he only have enough customers!

Tell him to be careful. Charlie Shrem went to prison for not filing BSA reports when he ran Bitinstant. They didn't have KYC. The feds shut down BTC-E for money laundering, no KYC there either.

Practically all the exchange are asking for kyc/aml. If you are not comfortable with KYC on exchange,  simply use decentralized exchange.  Some centralized exchange like Kucoin allow you to trade and withdraw any amount of it's platform.
KYC is typically needed now in exchanges even in bounties sometimes, it is to assure the company as well the investors for their documents and proper filing at their company in the countries they involved with, since some countries bans crypto.

If you really don't want KYC there are straightforward exchanges out there such as Shapeshift.io where you will just send the payment and input your receiving address. KYC is not a requirement nor you don't even have to sign up an account in order to obtain their services. The only downside to this is rates is not as near as the current market price, so it is up to you to choose if you are willing to sacrifice that kind in order to stay away from KYC.
Right, shapeshift is a very good way to go in that aspect when it comes to one having to do KYC but there is a fixed miner's fee though that the exchange charges. Also, you will still have some transaction limit placed somehow unless you go through some instructions on their platform.

Moreover, it is a very good one for those who are not looking to do some serious trading and would just want to use exchange service to exchange their coins. Also, desktop wallets like Exodus, uses shapeshift directly on their application for those who would always want to exchange. For good rates, volume, fees and minimal limitation, I would rather go for binance.

Iam yet to see any of exchange that do not ask for KYC /AML . It is one of the  laws that will give the exchanges the confidence of knowing their customers and that the money customers are bringing are clean from drugs , terror and not for money laundry. It is also the policy of most of the countries that those exchanges are located. But there are some exchnges you can work with without KYC but your transactions will be limited to certain amount per day or month.

Well, in practice, withdrawing money from an exchange with KYC verification is far more complicated and time-consuming than sending money to the exchange. Such exchanges often require their customers to submit two or more pieces of personal identification, and the submission itself doesn’t guarantee verification.

So then here is the business idea opening good exvhanger.
Without kyc.
I think this business will run nice Wink

I think KYC is not that bad. The main purpose of it is for added security and protection not only to your account but specially to the exchange itself. So they could prevent  from being used, intentionally or unintentionally, by criminal elements or money laundering activities.
We cannot prevent it anyway, all the exchanges will do the same thing in the future but still there is some risk with regards this thing. We should be careful by giving our information because not all exchanges is worth the risk. Binance I think is still not asking for KYC, this is a good exchange and maybe in the future KYC will be done with this exchange.

There are many crypto exchange not required KYC with limited daily withdrawal but only for deposit and withdrawal in cryptocurrency. But for deposit and withdrawal in fiat that exchanges should be ask for KYC to comply AML. Some exchanges that offer unverified account with daily limit withdrawal 2 BTC daily is Binance,  Okex,  Bibox and Cryptopia with maximum daily withdrawal 5000NZD.

I mean we need also Fiat exchangers without kyc.

Of course we don't want to submit our precious data to anyone not even a exchange. We are here to be anonymous and make money. Here is a link: List of Decentralized/Centralized Exchanges.

Besides, if a exchange that requires KYC has been been compromised, not only is your money taken, but your identify as well, (identity theft.)

There are many exchange sites you can use without doing KYC but most of them are low volume exchanges. But come to think of it, is there any crypto exchange that will pay you through your bank? I yet to see that. Maybe it's because of the part of that world I live in.

KYC is not bad but the people on the forum itself looking to be anonymous. As like that exchange users want the same along with that they are investing big funds on hands on cryptocurrencies.
Some of the exchanges keep security norms from the US or European law enforcement. Those law is might be saved you from using the wallet.

Cmon dude.
Just think about it. Where they are going to send that money to? They need your information to send you the money. At the end of it all you will still need to give that information to receive the money.

Idex is one that doesnt need information when you exchange a certain token to Ethereum.
But that Ethereum exchanged to USD will be the hard part of all. Either use Coinbase which needs your information or others which have the same features.
Actually it is the law for their business to continue.

Nowadays all the data's are collect and sell it on private companies so many peoples are not ready to join KYC exchanges but KYC is increase the security level most of the investors are understand why they ask the KYC verification.
It is limit the scammer so we should believe 100 percentage on KYC exchange.

I wouldn't trust all of the exchanges and give them my documents just like that. There are so many scammers and those exchanges can use your data for their own use or sell it to those who needs. I trust only few exchanges on KYC stuff. One of them is Bittrex.

Btw BitMEX has no KYC, but it's also smell fishy despite highest volume of BTC trading

These days it is becoming the norm for exchanges to request for ID documentation for KYC. Off the top of my head, I can name Etherdelta, IDEX, Kucoin, Crex24 e.t.c but these are mostly low volume exchanges. Meanwhile, the other popular ones with large trade volume like Binance have set a limit for withdrawal for those unwilling to do KYC procedure

Since this service can run good because no more banking trojans...like back in the days people payed you money with stolen bank logins.
