2020 is a special year for the development of bitcoin. because this year bitcoin will be half the size. Almost all crypto holders hope that bitcoin will pump high and make the altcoin market green again and grow. but bitcoin volatility is very high it is difficult to predict the price of bitcoin. so if you also have to be prepared if it turns out that bitcoin doesn't experience a cut after bitcoin is reduced by half. bitcoin developments this year will be history for bitcoin travel.
We have had a bad time in 2018 and a recovery in 2019, hoping that 2020 will be a year of outstanding growth.
Right now bitcoin is on a fantastic rise and it is almost touching $ 8000. Hopefully we will have a great start in 2020 and bitcoin will hit $ 10,000 in January.

I wish everyone blessings and success for 2020 but we also need to be vigilant, realistic and cautious when it comes to fulfilling our expectations and goals. It's always good to be hopeful but we need to be acting on our ideas and goals to make them a reality. Don't just depend on lady luck to get you what you want. You need to go out there and work for it and crypto is no different. Either we have to tradE our way there, or be lucky to invest in a couple fo low cap unicorns that might make it to the top 100 in CMC.
This year there will be a lot of good news for this market and investment demand may soon rebound in the near future as many large countries are particularly concerned about crypto. I hope that we can one day see some altcoins that can be applied to everyone's daily life. Of course, this is a very unlikely problem but blockchain is currently playing a very important role in this era.What I want most is that all coins will rise in value this year and investors will have the knowledge to choose the coins that can help them make a profit.
I do the same hope as you but yet we have to consider the reality! This year everyone keeps talking about the bull market because of the bitcoin bull run, but in past, the crypto market did not Pump just after the halving, it took a long time! So, I think not this year, crypto new history may happen in 2021!
Not only this year but every year people in the crypto are always talking about the possibility to reach the NEW ATH for sure. But just waiting for the trend that will be happening with crypto. i can see a lot of positive trend in the various places and it looks like this time we will see another bullish trend for bitcoin again. The whales have already started its move to the crypto market and it's not a very long time to go like 2019 and 2018. We will see the next comeback for crypto and it must be the new ATH to be reached by crypto.

Well we have been in worst situations this past two years so I guess everyone really wishes that this 2020 will bring some recovery specially in the altcoin market. We have seen coins losing as much as 90%, maybe investors have lost their trust or simply not wanting to put a big risk because of the worsening market conditions. So yeah, we all hope that 2020 will bring something new, specially that bitcoin halving is around the corner and that the effect might trickle to altcoin market.
I think it is a combination of many factors, investors are slowly realizing the risks of investing in icos and they are deciding they do not want to take the risk of losing their life savings in something which most likely will not offer them any result, altcoins are also not recovering by their own fault, many of them had great goals and most of those goals have not been achieved, so they have been showing they are not as capable as they thought they were, and finally the adoption has slowed down considerably and without more people coming the price cannot go up. 
In the past 2 years people were able to cumulate more cryptocurrencies, while the whole crypto ecosystem was developed. Now it is time for mass adoption and price growth. But also we need the stable infrastructure for cryptocurrencies and finally the important regulations.
And may even be a year of uncertainty. Though by the year end, we may start to feel the new age in crypto history as the blockchain industry starts to shape. The future of mineable coins and fundraising through tokens may be decided by the end of this year. The success or failure of crypto this year would be crucial for the industry for a long term.
I don't expect anything new in cryptos right now. It is gonna be just like a constant addition of projects, bursts of IEOs popping out of nowhere, more adoptions to Bitcoin, plenty of bull runs and bull exhaustion at the same time. It is just the way the market is all about. It is just gonna be the same as what it was few years ago but except that we're going up.
Everything seems to look almost the same in 2018 i guess but 2018 is more bearish than in 2019. What could possibly going to happen in this year? It's more like what you have said almost happening already as whales and traders trying to pump the market yet it won't move to what they have expected.

Maybe it will print a new history for crypto. I hope the price of crypto will increase 20 times the base price.
It's too much to expect an increase in the price of crypto tokens by up to 20 times, because if you can go up to 10 times it is pretty good I think, and so far I have also seen several crypto tokens that have increased prices in all markets even if only in a few percent only.Self contentment is our best strategy to make this time, even if the profit was not that good. Lesser gains will eventually grow in a right time. Just be fair with our expectations to avoid any possible frustrations, that will lead to emotional battle like depression. We don't know how a person managed their stress, so keep calm and easy while great journey isn't yet happening.

seeing the development of bitcoin since 2009 is indeed very impressive, ranging from pizza sellers to countries also developing this technology. after 2012, halving became the most awaited thing in the cryptocurrency world. I appreciate every bitcoin history or other cryptocurrency especially for applying it to a chart, I started analyzing bitcoin for this year until the following year, now is where bitcoin will recover and some other altcoins according to my previous calculation calculations, not only talk because it will go to halving and others but there are still many things that will happen in 2020 that will likely bring an increase in the price of bitcoin and other crypto, let's make a new history for bitcoin today 
We have the same hope about bitcoin but the reality is could be different. Optimist and calculation can/t support bitcoin more better. But try to make trading/ investment activity, promote bitcoin/ altcoin project and built education blog can be use to increase market movement. We only need to find another benefits from bitcoin and promote any good news about bitcoin progress. Look's simple but I'm afraid people only focus in profit not helping to keeping survive.
