What is the impact of the current Ukraine and Russia war on Crypto?  With so many sanctions being launched against Russia, it could have a huge impact on the economies of both countries and possibly other countries as well. I have read before that there are Ukraine who accept donations via crypto and there is news of a ban on freezing Russia user accounts.  I hope the war ends soon, peace is beautiful

The first impact on the crypto market was definitely a negative one as the whole market went down around 10% or so all of a sudden once the news broke that Russia really started to invade Ukraine. I guess no one or at least only a small percentage of people really expected that it would come to this and therefore all the financial markets to a big blow that day and the traditional stock markets still suffer from that. The crypto market started to move upwards though only one or two days after the start of the war as it became obvious that with all that sanctions that are being declared against russia you can not really stop the crypto market to function.

There are several things that both Russia and Ukraine can do, if sanctions are imposed by NATO and its allies, including the impact on crypto.
First, Russians and Ukrainians buy crypto as savings.
Second, the people of Russia and Ukraine buy gold for savings.

The first thing Crypto will do will have a positive impact on skyrocketing prices.
The second thing to do Crypto is down further, excuse, selling crypto buying gold.
It seems to me that this war may not affect all economies in the best way. I won't say anything about the Russian stock market - it's dead. But if there are conflicts with NATO, the American market will be in for a storm. And if the US stock market collapses, bitcoin will go down, too. Right now, cryptocurrency is not a savings vehicle, but a handy tool. For example, Russia has imposed restrictions on the export of currency from the country. You can buy crypto and take it out even just on your smartphone, and no one will notice. By the way, I think this war started for a reason. The big guys are now sharing a big piece of the pie.

.... With so many sanctions being launched against Russia, it could have a huge impact on the economies of both countries and possibly other countries as well.
It's not "could have" since it's already happening. You could see how Russia is retaliating against countries like Germany.

The effect of this ongoing conflict on crypto has been positive so far. Both countries have become friendly to cryptocurrencies prior to the attack. Russians probably converting their assets to BTC to avoid freezing while Ukraine accepting dknations without third party interference.
I don't really think that both countries are becoming friendly with cryptocurrencies, maybe Ukrain but it doesn't seem the same to me for Russia because I read from a link posted in this forum maybe 2 days ago which I saw this from the Russian Authority "The use of digital currencies as a means of payment on the territory of the Russian Federation will continue to be prohibited." , "The Central Bank, in turn, proposes to ban both mining and circulation of cryptocurrencies in the Russian Federation." and both these quotes were from march 03, 2022 however this might not mean that individuals might not be trying to use crypto or Bitcoin as a way out.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies showed green movements but not too huge like reaching new heights or entering into the bullish cycle but it helped from recovery of dip before that.

Economies were falling especially Russia but its not going to end there soon the fuel prices are going to shoot in many countries because Russia is the main exporter of Natural gas in the world and if the posses Ukraine then definitely they're going to decide the price.

The war going on in Ukraine not only has an impact on the crypto market but also has an impact on the world economy because Russia is the largest oil supplier in Europe, and sanctions imposed by many countries such as the UK and France are making things worse. especially now that the war in Ukraine has also spread to the world of football and Russia is in danger of not being able to play in the world cup which will be held in Qatar. Many crypto investors are from Russia and even the inventor of ETH is also from Russia, if the blocking really happens it will certainly have a bad impact on the crypto market. I just hope the war in Ukraine ends quickly and doesn't spread to the crypto world.

So far it hasn't had much impact on price developments, because the cryptocurrency only experienced a slight correction and then rose again high as if we were facing a normal day.
However, in the two countries that are currently at war, they really need cryptocurrencies because of the difficulty of financial flows into their countries.
Ukraine received donations of at least more than $10 million in cryptocurrency for their country.
Russia may not be seen using cryptocurrencies now, but in the long run they need cryptocurrencies to help restore their economy and also help track their financial transactions because currently Russian fiat cannot enter or leave their own country.

It is hoped that in the future, if this war lasts for a long time, the condition of the market can be seen more.
I hope this will not going to happen, it caused by if the war can make the world will be going to another crisis. You can imagine if the war will be everywhere and you have no place to access internet and it will be going down as well. I must try to remind you that. When the world is on the war and you have no safe place to hide from the bomb.
As ordinary people and what we can do to pray for the war to be stopped. If the war gonna be a long term war and the world will be face another degradation for sure.

As long as they can still use the Internet, I think it's still very safe because this war is still within the scope of their country and the sanctions imposed on Russia will probably not have a big effect on the Crypto market because there are still many decentralized markets even the prices started to rise at the beginning of this month even though at this time there is a correction going on and the price will probably strengthen again at the end of this week and hopefully the war will end soon and start a normal life.

First of all, nobody gets advantage from a war. It impacts everything. If we want to talk about cryptos, this war will heavily effect crypto market. And I think it has already started to effect the market. A lot of people lost money. A lot of coins have decreased in value these days Sad Both Russia and Ukraine have a good part in crypto market. Can you guys imagine that they all withdraw the coins they have? It would heavily effect the market. They should stop the war. It will effect badly not only the crypyo market but most importantly the life in all aspects.

Yeah, there were a lot of donations made in cryptocurrencies and I think that caused an impact with the market that made Bitcoin rise for a moment.
Then, it clears back to 38k which means the cryptocurrencies might have been being withdrawn and putting to good use. It's okay, a good change on why the market moved and not because a whale manipulates it. I have no strong proof but all eyes are on it.
Anyway, I was glad they thought about cryptocurrencies being used for donations and now the world knows it could be done in a safer method and there's not a need for a middleman.

I once discussed this with some of my friends in one of the crypto groups on Telegram, this war between Ukraine and Russia had a huge impact not only on crypto but the economy as a whole, some time after Russia entered the Ukraine zone, there were a lot of assets in the stock market which is decreasing in value and it has an impact on the crypto market as well due to negative issues and some sentiments.

There is one opinion from my friend that I really like to hear, this is his opinion "Once the issue of war spreads, you must quickly buy oil and gold stocks, because only these two things are very valuable later when the war occurs".

A reasonable opinion in my opinion, besides, just imagine, if war broke out and nukes were launched? I'm not sure the electricity will still exist, this will have an impact on the Bitcoin network and other altcoins right?

it seems to me that many people moved to the crypt and apparently this became the starting point for a takeoff, and the market quickly stabilized.
They are feeling panic and it can be seen from the pump that happened with bitcoin a few days ago and then it's going down again right now. The fact that people are using crypto as a way to transact their money during the war. Remember that the war didn't make the internet become dead and this is also making people are still able to access bitcoin to store their value but yeah it goes down again right now.
How weak is the bitcoin support for now? It can't even hodl above 40k.

In any case, war is bad, and it will not lead to anything good.
No one was hoping the war to happen except those are so greedy bastard to take any resource that available in another country for their own purpose.
We are only supporting the peace

Lots of investors from European countries are fearful about the current war that they are even doing panic selling which has a huge impact on the current price of Bitcoin and other altcoins. On the other hand, having crypto assets is now an advantage for Ukrainians and Russians because, despite the sanctions, they will be able to use their assets during this war.

Cryptocurrency has become the safe haven for countries in war many Ukrainian bought Cryptocurrency and so are the Russians in case their currency is devalued, Ukraine promoted Cryptocurrency by asking for donations in the form of Crypto, with this move many organizations and countries will also follow this, instead of cash they will prefer Cryptocurrency for donations I hope after the war when the Ukrainian people will start rebuilding their nation they will still accept donation in Crypto, so many country and organizations will buy Crypto for Ukraine.

The impact of the war is already felt here in our country, we have a big hike in the price of oil and electricity I am in a country that is nonoil producing, many countries will feel the impact in the coming months but one the who really feel the bad effect is both Ukraine and Russia, this is a very costly war and Russia cannot keep up being isolated he will have to yield or the world will have to stop him from advancing, I don't think Russia will stop on Ukraine, that is why NATO is preparing for the worse.

Governments in a number of countries have been vying for official recognition of the cryptocurrency, with the war in Ukraine and Russia having a small market impact. That's why a lot of the market is going down. It is hoped that in the future, if this war lasts for a long time, the condition of the market can be seen more.

The more the world develops, the more war can affect not only the armed forces, but also ideological influences, economic and financial influences, and even belief influences. We need to predict the market in advance through the current appearance.

I see the impact of the Ukraine war with Russia on crypto on the positive side that crypto can be an asset that stays when other real assets are lost due to war.
On the other hand, the impact of the war between Ukraine and Russia made the market weak until the price decline continued.

At first, I observed a wild correction, but after a number of sanctions, it seems to me that many people moved to the crypt and apparently this became the starting point for a takeoff, and the market quickly stabilized. In any case, war is bad, and it will not lead to anything good.
with this sanctions i am believe bitcoin and cryptocurrency still be more popular for its decentralized system and adoption could be more massive than before. alot country now recognized its as new finance system that could not controll. in couple weeks while war is over and there is good news from market, bitcoin will recover hardly. main catalyst at this moment war , and hopefull it could done immediately

Crypto played a major role in the Russia-Ukraine war, as Ukraine collected tens of millions of international donations from crypto, and Russia used cryptocurrencies to transfer money while bypassing traditional financial channels, and as a result, crypto has become the hero of this war, as it is not under the control of any central authority, and Bitcoin has witnessed a noticeable rise since the Russian invasion of Ukraine due to the purchasing support it received from both sides.
Increased usage of bitcoin with Russia and Ukraine happened out of the war. Ukraine made it a way to support war funding through donation acceptance in the form of cryptocurrencies. Russia on the other side to overcome the financial sanctions started using cryptocurrencies. Both were using it with some purpose that made the market move on the bull side. If crypto have served as a way to stop war, then this could've been a big thing. For now it has served as an alternate path to minimize the risks out of financial transactions.
