Crypto is an investment and investment always comes with risk. However, for me risk can never be totally be eliminated but can be minimize. I always put the principle of "always expect the worst" and "have a backup plan for your backup plan" whenever I am doing investment on crypto. I do not expect it to be always a good return but I see to it that whenever I want to invest, I study and have a background check. I am not putting everything on one investment and I will see to it that I did my research first before investing. Crypto is a bit complicated investment as it is new for me and information is limited but I see to it that I study and read more before making a move thus making the risk possibilities less or if possible no risk at all as you are your on what and who are you investing in to.

Yes you are right If you are ready to take risk then you can invest in cryptocurrency but If you started panic in then you should not go for that. As we can see a example like now the price of Bitcoin is going up and down and many people started selling there Bitcoins.
People who are cryptocurrency is a person who is not afraid to fail and they believe that here can get many advantages. And it's been proven that the more investors come in and make cooperation and generate new coins.

I see cryptocurrency to be for the one ready to learn new stuffs and to critically analyze the crypto market and make firm predictions of the market. If you are able to deal with this, there will be no reason to consider cryptocurrency as risky as you will know when to invest and when not to invest.
Cryptocurrency is indeed for the risk takers because they are the one who are engaging themselves into this opportunity because if you are not a risk taker then they will just stay at their comfort zone, trying to do the things that they used to do and not the things that they can do to improve something. You are not completely right here, remember that business itself is defined as a pool of of risk. And i think that even living on this earth is a risk. No venture, no success. If you enter into a business for instance, you either stand to gain or loss; and those that venture in cryptos, entered to make money but they can also experience lost. I think risk taking is generally a win or lose thing in every business.
Part of it is for risk takers, risk that they are willing to take for the sake of gaining profit. But being capable of taking risk is not enough when it comes to crypto, you have to have your own strategy and fully understand on what crypto you are dealing with. You also need to think smarter in this cryptoworld

I am a long term investor and I have invested in Bitcoins and altcoins. I think you just don't need to be a high risk taker to invest in this! It all depends on your investing strategy, if you are in for the short term and looking for considerable short term gains, then cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are a high risk investment tool and should be invested using caution. Again, I really don't care about sort term gains so I don't see Bitcoins and several other altcoins as huge risks.

This is why it's hard to encourage other people to join our community. Those who spread FUD just for their own benefit, doesn't deserve the greatness of this industry in the future. I think we should be more optimistic than a risk taker. The difference is that risk takers don't care at all and wanders blindly in the dark tunnel. While optimistic investors can see light at the ene of the tunnel. Our patience and hard work is measured so that we can be rewarded in the ene of this businesses journey.
