They are promoting that Monaco Card, I bet it will really skyrocket when the market release the bull again, I've been holding my bitcoins, Monaco, and other altcoins in my wallet for too long, my pocket are craving for fiats already. This kind of advertising is a great way to help other people or to make people aware that using cryptocurrency is also a trend these days. Kudos for Singapore, no wonder their country have a great economy.
So you mean the 'skyrocket' is not because this ads but because bullish market? Everything is pumping when bullish trend coming.

That's exactly the best thing you can do about Bitcoin. When the people see those logos and pictures all around the town, questions will pop-up on their minds. The next thing they will do is ask someone they know or go to google immediately to search for information about bitcoin. I'm sure as of today there's no bad information about bitcoin anymore cause everyone knows the true nature of it. after that, they will continue to learn more and more information about bitcoin everyday as most of us had been through.
Not directly to Bitcoin though, but at least this company promoting decentralize world in public. People who found this and get curious might eventually know Bitcoin but won't always become Bitcoin fan. If they know but didn't get interested to Bitcoin then it's useless. So, not every positive things will come trough this company advertisement.

Glad to see that Singapore is Bitcoin-friendly country, soon many countries will be like that in the future some of the Cryptocurrency based websites here in our country are advertising their product on the internet, the logic is very obvious once they see the ads they can go to the site and check it immediately, we can promote offline but since this is internet based we should make the majority of our ads internet-based.

That advert is not promoting cryptocurrencies but rather some service what is offering high interest paid in crypto
What if that service will turn to scam.History knows many that kind scams.
That time one time again cryptocurrencies will be guilty.
That kind of advert will be banned by regulators in Europe very fast
So better to be careful

After seeing a couple of crypto-related ads in a single day in Singapore, something suddenly comes to my mind. What if all of these ads are promoting Bitcoin? People would be seeing Bitcoin logos everyday; in MRT, buses, malls, houses, underpasses, waiting stations, taxis, laundry shops, and practically everywhere. Would this help a lot? And those who are not familiar will get curious and would want to know more about it.
I think all of those ads are good for cryptocurrency (especially bitcoin). Not just the curiosity of everyone, I think all of those ads will increase crypto users in particular and also increase crypto adoption

This is a good progress, the advertisements of cryptocurrency are getting better and good now with a Taxi advertisement more ordinary people can have a good idea about cryptocurrency. If my country accepts this kind of advertisement, I would support it and put a bitcoin logo on my bag.

I am glad to see those ads in different locations and countries. Yes, in our modern world, a good idea or a product needs to be advertise heavily so as to get a good recall and the brand can be cemented in the minds of the many that is why companies (especially those dealing with FMCGs) are allocating millions to push their products/services to the masses. We can also do that with Bitcoin but we need sponsors to carry the cost for that. Good thing that there are now some firms engaged in crypto-related business who are also taking the burden of including Bitcoin in their promotions/ads. It would be good if there can be entertainment and sports figures who can endorse Bitcoin to their fans and followers.

The next question is what can we ordinary and unknown people do to promote Bitcoin? One idea is to buy a t-shirt with Bitcoin logo printed on it and wear it whenever we are doing some shopping or maybe even doing some jogging in the morning around the neighborhood. We can also use the Bitcoin logo as our profile picture especially if our friends and followers are not yet into Bitcoin. There are many things we can all do to bring more awareness to Bitcoin.

I was travelling in Singapore yesterday when I chanced upon a taxi covered with Crypto.com ads all over. At the back, it says 100% rebate (?). I was not able to take a picture myself and so I tried scavenging through Google to find an image. This is not exactly it though, the one I saw had more black IIRC.

And then I found out that there is also similar crypto ads in some other cities. This one, for example, is taken in London:

Meanwhile, in Changi Airport, look at how HSBC is marketing itself. Crypto is indeed going mainstream.

It would naturally be helpful to the promotion of bitcoin. Aby sort of advertisment about bitcoin could potentially help the world adopt it faster. Plus, the design looks lit so most people would definitely take notice of it and would naturally be curious of what it represents. Besides, the more ads, the more people would question, what is that?
Unlike other ads where people already know the main subject of its topic, having an ad with an unknown topic could lead people into researching more about it which makes adoption naturally skyrocket. After all, ads about games, we already know its about games, ads about soap, we already know about soap, but about crypto??  They'd be like "what is that?" and would naturally come to adopt the knowledge of what it is.

Crypto is like everywhere now. Advertisements have a big role for introducing the cryptocurrency world and the new technologies. I think all of these advertisements will also help promoting Bitcoin.
Making more of this wide advertisement will catch the eyes of possible traders and investors, we need to help the industry in any ways that we can.
Crypto followers who's doing this marketing advertisement do attract newcomers to also consider this new payment process, with many more like this to come up, from different places around the world will make this informational drive to succeed penetrating the target market.

It's only possible if the governments are positive towards bitcoin and cryptocurrency. It's actually a good way to promote crypto... It's like crypto is travelling itself to promote so that a lot of people can surely see the ad.

There's a lot of ways to advertise crypto. Just like here in my country, since there's a lot of billboards you can see while travelling on the road, it's one of the best way to promote crypto. Traffic is also severe, and if they got stuck in the traffic they could see the ad... Only if someone would sponsor or willing to do it. But actually, I wish I could also see such promotion here in my country just like what you have saw op.
The government of the said country does not limiting the use of cryto, every individual are free to expose what they believe and what they support.
It is good to see that they are posting advertisement to promote crypto not only in taxi but also in the airport.
It might be the way for other countries to finally adopt and accept cryptocurrency. This might be the first step in the development of the crypto world.

Those are effective ads.

It will certainly help increase the popularity of bitcoin but someone or some company will have to pay for the bitcoin ads and I'm not sure if anyone is willing to do that out of their own pockets. Although indirectly, these companies paying for crypto advertisements still helps in promoting btc being the most well-known cryptocurrency.

Yes, the popularity of cryptocurrency or blockchain technology will somehow spill over to Bitcoin just as shitcoins will also affect the reputation of crypto in general.

I am hoping that more sportsbet-like selfless ads will come out in the future. That Watford FC uniform with a single sleeve dedicated to Bitcoin could also be emulated by other projects. It does not hurt them if they allocate a little spot of their ads with Bitcoin in it or even a logo. That would actually do good to their project.

Cryptocurrency companies are doing this and many more will follow because they want people to get the awareness of their company, this is the psychology of advertising, the many times' people will see the ads the many times  they will get familiar and recall of the commercial, this is the reason why we see commercial over and over again, and companies are spending millions to spend on these ads for people to see many times.

Bitcoin has already started to be well-known by people from many countries for a long time. I think these advertisements will speed up the process and will reach more people around the world.
I see more advertisements for crypto exchanges than for Bitcoin, so I'm not sure where you see the adoption speed up here. At most, it speeds up the adoption of get rich quick noobs looking for a quick flip profit.

From a business perspective I can get why they do this, but it has little impact on Bitcoin. I also doubt how effective these advertisements are with the market falling deeper every single week.

People don't usually catch a falling knife. They wait for the price to have gone up to actually buy, because that for them is an indication that Bitcoin is doing fine again. Most of the adoption happens during a bull run, so there is that.

we've got these unsightly ads running here in the states, courtesy of gemini:

certainly not my cup of tea but i guess i understand their marketing angle.....

Yeah, it's a little off but I think they mean something like "hello, you need to make us legal", "create laws for us", "include us in your policies", or something along those lines. Or did I get it right?

By the way, this is the Gemini that is owned by the Winklevoss twins, right? They are solid crypto and Bitcoin supporters if I am not mistaken.
