Actually many people dont like this volatile characteristic of bitcoin.
They think this volatile can be very dangerous for their money but it can be very profitable if we know the way how to make it. So i like this volatile very much. It make me happy.

If you invest in cryptocurrency, you just need to remember that you forgot to invest in them.
Because history shows that people who make money tend to be long-term holders, and if you hold them for a long time, you can be a moneymaker without worrying about the daily fluctuations in prices.

But it is this kind of volatility that gives people a serious earning and even more so very quickly. If not for this kind of volatility, then we would simply not be interested in crypto-currencies, but simply watched how professional traders work and earn money.

Yes, the recent price of bitcoin and all other COINS have fluctuated wildly.
I think it's a very normal phenomenon, because the volatility is that someone is losing a lot of money, and someone who is losing money thinks someone is making a lot of money, which is very normal.

The downside of being in the crypto verse is that it is easily manipulated by these so called whales they are like kids that if they chooses this coin to pump they will and also dump it so quickly.

Hello people, although I’ve only been trading crypto currencies for about a month now, I have learnt a lot. I have made good money on the regular stock market many times but to be honest, my regular stock market profits(although good) are boring compared to what’s possible dealing crypto currencies.

What I don’t understand is what gives these coins their price other than basic supply and demand?. I just don’t get the fundamentals of this market. For example, what makes an Ethereum worth $1000?. How do you know that’s what it should be worth and not $500 for example?. Again, other than supply and demand.

I have about $10,000 invested so far and want to invest more but I’m always scared that I will wake up in the morning and find that the US has banned or is working on banning them and that will make the crypto market crash beyond repair. Even with the latest crash, I haven’t lost money yet but the market is too volatile. Too many inexperienced traders in the game trying to get rich. Although, I don’t mind taking risks, I don’t want to throw money either. To the people who have substantial amounts invested, how do you deal with the fear that this market is so volatile like and any major bad news could lead to you losing all your money. Definitely a very risky market compared to the regular stock market. Do you see this market lasting a few years without government interference?.

 Any insight would be appreciated
Personally, for everything there is simply, you need to set a clear target how much you want to earn, and understand that you can lose your money in this market. But here the last correction was really hard for me, I almost sold the coins at a low price

To be honest volatility is money. Through it you can buy and sell coins. Profit comes from the volatile market which is I think manipulated by big players but that doesn't stop there because not only whales get even richer but also those people with capitals either big or small they can also take part of the flow and will also get the benefits. I myself is not an investor nor a trader (I need to learn it first.) but a bounty hunter that uses the most effective way of having safe and better profit which is hodling all coins instead of selling them. Government can block exchanges or ban them but people can still operate through decentralozed exchanges. Some countries allow citizens to take part in cryptocurrency but local exchanges are regulated by central banks that is how they interfere.

The cryptocurrency market is the most volatile out of all the markets.  Cryptocurrencies take the stairs up and the elevators down.  It's not for everyone and only the strong will prosper.
I think that volatility attracts the attention of a large number of people. Cryptocurrencies have become an object for speculation. But for many users this is a good opportunity to earn. Now the whole cryptocurrency market is falling. This provoked a real panic. Those who remain calm and hold your coins in the future will have a chance to get rich.

No one can guarantee that virtual money will always bring profit, but everything back again to each person. You see Bitcoin as something profitable because of what? Is it because of the price? Or because of its ability to send money for free anywhere without fear of being stolen by a third party?

Well that's the point of crypto currency: a high volatility. It's been like that all the time and that's why a lot of people love crypto currency: you can make easy money if you understand how the market is working.

It is very exciting and volatile, if you are of a weak heart walk away, or just buy some and hodl it.

I find it fascinating and also the decreasing value isn't always bad just allows you to get in at the lows.
Yes, the fluctuation of alternative coins price is needed by the traders it gives chance to getting profit from it, the volatility of digital coins are normal as instrument of investment, even the stocks markets they are very huge fluctuation too. We need extra carefull when desicions to investing in all of investment include in cryptos coins.

Well, i know cryptocurrency is new technology that gain much interest from outside people.
But i dont think that you need to involve in this crytpocurrency if you have much profit in stock market.
However, we run this all just for profit. Nothing else.

Several points to keep in mind

1. Bitcoin itself has a major a selloff of 20% to 40% just about every quarter. Crypto investing is not for the faint of heart.

2. Small crypto coins will always be more volatile than Bitcoin due to their illiquidity, fewer exchanges where they can be transacted  and outsized influence of whales and pump and dump groups.

3. Buy when there is blood on the streets, this applies to stocks, crypto or any other investable asset. If anyone wishes to allocate fresh capital now may be the time to do so.

4. If an investor needs relative safety and muted volatility, they may be better off investing in US Treasury bonds not crypto.
Superb points. I completely agree with all your points and I feel that bitcoin is way more reliable than altcoins in the short term and long term. The thing is that major profits can be earned in the short term and long term through altcoins when compared to bitcoin, but it comes with a higher degree of risk which the investor is liable to. Everyone with basic knowledge of the crypto world knows how volatile this market really is which is why everyone including me advises people to invest only what they are willing to lose. As you said, US treasury are far more reliable for small profits.

The volatility of the coins is due to people who are just starting with cryptocurerncy.  Those people who just follow the trend without knowing or without any research about cryptocurrency.  Like if there are new coins that will trend those people i mean will follow and buy that coins.  And when the big whales move something like spread FUD those people will be in panic and sell it even they will loss because they are afraid if that coin will be going down and they will have a huge loss. Big whales are the players in crypto world.
