What crypto web-sites do you surf for the news the most? How often do you read them?

Until now, the crypto media i use to perform the analysis is :
https://coinmarketcap.com/
https://www.reddit.com/
https://www.livecoinwatch.com/
https://www.bitcoin.com/
https://www.coindesk.com/

But to know the price that seeking. I always visit https://coinmarketcap.com/ and this almost every time i do it.

a good bet would be going here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=77.0

It's a link I can not miss, with this link I can see the development of crypto.

Actually I dont trust anything on the internet anymore. There is so much misinformation and misleading stuff around that it has become almost impossible to filter the legit stuff from the fake. For now I only stick to reading up on projects and forming my own opinion about it. As almost everything you will read on the internet has an interest of someone behind it, it is not worthy for me anymore. A website I like to browse though is coinspectator, because it gathers a lot of cryptoinformation in one place and one can decide what to read in no time.

I know a lot of sites were listed, but what about trusted experts in the crypto community.  Does anyone have recommendations on people in the community that are unbiased and just factual/informative?  I find a lot of media these days to have an agenda.

Yes, there are really a lot of good quality posters around and most of them are in the Legendary status. But I won't drop a name here, I want you to go around the forums and discover who those Legendary members I'm talking about.  Grin. I don't want to be accuse of "fawning". LOL.

As far as media I can trust, its really hard to say. Most of the mainstream media now are just writing garbage articles specially when bitcoin prices soar. As if they are just riding the popularity of crypto's, heck you can really spot them because all they talk is non sense and they really have their own agenda behind.

For the best source of news, this is the only reliable source that you can find. Although there's a lot of FUD's around, I'm sure that you can filter it out based on the answer of other members, and of course use your common sense.

That's a pretty large list! Some of them are new to me, will check.
The Merkle - like this one much, good and informative content.

Also Coindesk and Huffington Post are worth reading. Coindesk - for news and they have very good crypto event list. And on Huffington post there are interesting articles

Glad I could help.
Steem.it also has good pieces but you need to filter a lot to get to the right blogs. Smiley

Information is key in this market and the worst part truly is reading baseless FUD and random speculation from the mainstream crypto media networks as well as random so called "experts" all day long and having to wade through loads and loads of garbage. Thanks for thr thread

that's true, of course. there are lots of sites and news sources in the web, sometimes making it hard to distinguish what's relevant and what's not.
Still I believe that 'old' media with high reputation (like Cointelegraph for instance) are trustworthy and deserve people's attention. they provide really important and checked information.

It is ridicolous how much bullshit the mainstreammedia is publishing about bitcoin in our country. They always invite pseudo specialists who talk bad about bitcoin. Its hard to find trustworthy sources on the internet. I get most of the invormations I need on the forums here...

What crypto web-sites do you surf for the news the most?

I read these news channels:

cryptocoinsnews.com
cointelegraph.com
news.bitcoin.com
www.newsbtc.com

news.bitcoin.com ----- Is a good news site, but they seem to be defending bitcoin cash and are against bitcoin

cryptocoinsnews.com ----- this site of news is very fast in publishing new articles, I think it very excellent

cointelegraph.com ----- Website with very explanatory news

newsbtc.com ----- I like this site because they give some price analysis

How often do you read them?

I follow the news every time, if I'm not at home, then I use my cell phone

yes, those sites are very good in traffic. about 11-13 million people visit them according to similarweb. That's a huge number indeed!:)

I think this forum is the best place to update the news about the cryptocurrency market. The news is always mentioned in the discussion, this is where I can update the news every hour, every day, even every minute.

well, yes, agree. but new threads appear so fast that sometimes it can be a challenge to identify the the most important once.
And here I'm asking more about submitting press-releases about the projects, for instance.
