i'm mostly into Bitcoin and ICN. although I have some on SDC which is much cheaper as of now and will soon moon like XMR.
Anon coins are going to be huge still because more and more users in the next few years will be aware of how good it is to make themselves unknown.

i agree iconomi coin is very potential is rise and incraese very high price
iconomi the best is ico selling in 2016, average ico selling price 20k satoshi, and now iconomi price is 42k satoshi
many project iconomi still run, if all project finish, i think iconomi coin price can reach and same ETC or litecoin
or maybe can reach 0.01 bitcoin, i same and equal price monero or ethereum, but my prediction iconomi price in 2017 still under litecoin price, only reach to 1 dollar

Golem has been doing extremely well, even in the current bearish sentiment we are having, which if you don't know, is one of Iconomi's projects they invested in Wink. And honestly I could care less about price speculation. I just want them to release a good stable platform with solid dividends. Price will then be irrelevant, as people will buy in and eventually make a ROI through dividends.

I think if Shadowcoin gets back to previous levels (maybe like $1) I might enter in on it. Potcoin is also something to look out for, if it goes back to previous levels as well in my opinion. Currently trying to cash out, because I feel like we're about to crash down :p

I have a strong belief that bitcoin will still increase by 100% this year so I keep 60% of my portfolio in Bitcoin and 40% on altcoins, some of the altcoins I kept are those with strong community and with good volume in the market.

Hello guys,

Just wanted to know your allocations and outlook for your cryptocurrency investment portfolio. For example, do you hold 100% BTC with a long-term outlook in the next years to decades? Or are you holding some altcoins with an outlook of 3-9 months? Currently I hold over half in BTC, 35% or so in Iconomi, and the rest in XMR.

Holding bitcoin is good investment for long term but this only my view when holding altcoin in longer period will not give much profit. Still we have lot of hopes on bitcoin that we are going to make good profit but altcoin is unpredictable.

100% bitcoin for long term Cheesy
but the amount i dedicate for trading goes like this:

70% for longer term investments for example coins that i believe in or i am expecting to have a big rise.
for instance litecoin and monero are always in my list. and right now i am also investing in ETH and FTC.

and the rest of 30% goes to day trading when i see some hot altcoin that is being traded/pumped, and if i have the time to join in and make the best of the situation.

Since most altcoins has proven they can't hold their own when BTC price rally up, I have decided to put 20% of my investment portfolio perpetually in BTC, I have 40% of my BTC investment reserved for ICOs, and the remaining in tether incase of significant drop in BTC price, like the PBOC news

Could you tell me more about Iconomi?
Iconomi is a platform. The main part of the platform is OFM (Open Fund Management platform). Any holder of ICN tokens will be entitled to a share of fees collected for using OFM.

Until Bitcoin developers sort out the the volume scaleability issue with BTC it is not likely to pump to any great degree. Any sudden hype coupled with the current slow confirmations is likely to be detrimental to the public perception of BTC. The concentration of consensus trust into a few groups doesn't help.

I suspect that 2017 will be the year that some Alts break away and challenge BTC due to two things; Trusted and ubiquitous fiat gateways (which BTC has) and High/Fast transaction capability (which BTC no longer has). If I had to take a guess at two I would say Waves and DASH. (Maybe ARDOR as well if we are talking Q4 2017).

Unless something huge happens with BTC development I think this knee-jerk consensus that BTC is 'the safe bet' will look as hollow as the 'can't go wrong with bricks and mortar' saying did in the US housing market circa 2008. Structural problems will give rise to change eventually.

At the moment, most of my money is in bitcoin. I need to pick up trading again to be honest, but at the moment I prefer bitcoin, that way you don't have to worry about losing large sums of money because of some crash of an altcoin.
Monero and Dash seem interesting ideas but I'm not convinced enough to buy, bitcoin is too far ahead.

I debated shorting DASH but don't really like the anxiety margin trading gives me. Sold out my XMR holdings so now I currently hold just BTC and ICONOMI. Debating if I want to invest more in Iconomi, but have a feeling it's going to take a dip pretty soon.

Could you tell me more about Iconomi? When the ICO came out, my instinct was it was a scam, because I didn't see how it would work, although it's success proved me wrong. How does it actually work, something I can't understand?
I thought it was dodgy that a team invests for you with your money, but I think I'm misunderstanding somehow.

DASH looks interesting too. POtcoin I'll probably pick up when it goes back to $0.01, before the seed bank on April 20th opens.

I`ve never heard about iconomi and XMR.I don`t trade altcoins.
I always invest in 100% bitcoin and wait a few months for the next btc bubble.
I don`t think that i will ever keep my bitcoins more than a year.

monero is good altcoin
monero this now volume transaction is rank 5 under bitcoin, ethereum, riple and litecoin
ussualy is rank 3 under bitcoin and ethereum

bitcin is good investment and best investment, but if you want very fast grow youre money, altcoin trading is very fast grow is compare bitcoin trading

but altcoin is very high risk, can much lost money if without have skill

"volume transaction"? you mean transaction volume? that is also not it because what you see is "marketcap" which doesn't mean anything for comparing crypto currencies. it is wrong and misleading to sort coins based on that.

if you really sort altcoins based on transaction volume (real world usage not just trade), trade volume, price, innovation, features, developers team, etc then monero will be number 1 altcoin (number 2 in crypto currencies after bitcoin)

I sold out 50% of my Bitcoin holdings during the last climb up as I expected the price to crash. I was looking at charts and I was not happy with what I have seen. But I bought backi only some BTC. Other funds invested in XMR, FCT and Waves.

I am doing both, wanting to grow my btc slowly but at the same time investing in burst and xt assets and day trade the other high volatility coins for daily gains if possible in order to grow my long term passive income. I am a very conservative trader though, hence my gains are small.

i am 100% in bitcoin.
but i use it to trade altcoins, i don't consider what i do as investing in altcoins because it is too short and i don't keep them for long, in other words i dump fast enough to get back in bitcoin.
however i am doing it with a small percentage of my coins, something around 40% which changes from time to time.

only bitcoin,only hardcore
100% investment in bitcoins with occasional trades in ETH,DOGE and DASH
it is wise to keep some of the portfolio in altcoins,I would say 20% of the total
but it requires the altcoin market and capitalisation study and I don't have time for this
there always can be another etherium or similar coin that gains over 10000% in value
but I prefer the steady price rise of bitcoin, which is bullish even given the recent bear trend, rather than the altcoin lottery
