Where did you found that application?
Hi.
Thank you for your interest.
It's a website with added widgets from coinmarketcap.

Hopefully, that will be reliable to use.
I'll certainly do my best.

I will install it anytime if this project will be proven and tested by lots of people.
No need to install anything. You may wish to add a shortcut to your homescreen/browser so you can access the site in one click, when you need to check the data.

Hi,

This mobile-friendly web site displays data on a selection of up to six cryptocurrencies (per browser) without having to install an App.
Data update rate currently set to 2 minutes.

-Your selections will be saved in your web browser so you can come back to the site anytime you wish to check the data
(No need to reselect coins everytime you go to the web site).
-For convenience, you may want to add a web site shortcut to you desktop/smartphone.
-If your selection doesn't work, please refresh your browser and try again.
Feedback appreciated.
Thank You.

Where did you found that application? I think it will help to supervise the amount of the said cryptocurrency. It will be useful for those who are investors and traders. Hopefully, that will be reliable to use. I will install it anytime if this project will be proven and tested by lots of people.

Hey,

Websockets for real-time experience would be badass too.
Agreed.
Added to the "To do" list.
Thanks for the idea Smiley

Hey,

good luck with this project it looks great.
It's awesome that you have that many coins to add, but i think the 2 minutes data update interval is too long but if you could keep it configurable that would be an option.

The loading time is important indeed.
Will work out a solution.

Seems a bit sluggish to me at first. Maybe you can improve responsiveness and loading time (it takes about 6/7 seconds to show one cryptocoin after selecting it and pressing "Display".

Nice   Smiley

One thing to improve.
Now you have to choose 6 different coins. It would be nicer if you could choose less. For example I tried to select only the 4 coins that I am currently interested in.. And it was not possible. (it did not show the value of any of them until I selected 6 coins...)

I am using Firefox 52.5 in Linux.

Actually I have no problems at all when displaying less than 6 altcoins. You just need to wait a bit for them to load, that's all.

I don't think 2 minutes is considered "real-time".
We like it as lightweight as it is which is preferred by users. Adding a repeated pattern as background makes the Page neat but will not make the site heavy.
And as a rush upgrade to the "User-friendly" UI, change the Fonts, and add favicom to the page. (I doesn't take more than 5minutes to do).

-Added "near real-time" to title of original post.
-Update speed will be customizable in near future.
-Font just changed.
-Favicom will definitely be added.

Thanks for your feedback.

It is very clumpsy checking crypto investments on Coinmarketcap using a phone..

There is an app of coinmarketcap available on the playstore. At least for android, im not sure about IOS.
But the interface of the app is pretty smooth. Updates are going pretty fast and you have the option to mark coins as favourite.
You can then easily go to the fav-tab and only look at the coins you are interested in. Viewing charts, setting alarms, everything possible.
No need to visit the website from mobile phone.. because..ye.. this is really unwieldy.

Very nice for those who wish to install an app Smiley
