I think it a hard scenario to happen if fiat be replaced with cryptocurrency, because as I can see here now volatility is the reason. If we replace fiat with digital currency, I guess the economy might not be stable. It will be affected with some bigger fluctuations like what's happening now. Government should think what's best, but for me there's still a big problem when changing the current system of economy.

Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.
The crypto market would devide in to different parts like : private, public in my opinion. And if goverments decide to make it regulated they will choose between to make it private, public and maybe what blockchain would they choose
I think replacing fiat into crypto is really a hard thing, but in a slow way maybe people well slowly adopt this kind of payment change in the near future. The crypto is now slowly becoming more popular like 30% of the world today is now aware of crypto and 70% is still didn't even know it. Internet is really depend on the place and it is also limited to those who are living on the mountainous place maybe they don't used internet because and for some other people who can afford to buy gadgets maybe they didn't know this crypto exist. So I think it will run a decade or many more years for crypto to be use as fiat.

Personally, I will never see this happen. Crypto will exist but fiat will exist as well. They will co-exist because they have different features.

We dont really need FIAT anymore or paper money especially though it has a kind of convenience to it, theres no reason not to just have plastic cards cover all bills.   If anything the bits of plastic are cheaper then printing paper or cotton in the USA costs alot.

Otherwise I agree, people are too absolute.  Its never going to be one or the other, they'll be a mix of all sorts of standards from metals, commodities, various national governments especially those in Asia and of course Crypto will take over some of the business US dollar loses from its lack of integrity

It will soon realized from time to time that cryptos will replace fiat money ,especially if it will be accepted worldwide ,there could be possibility but I think it will not totally repkace this fiat money in places where digital technology can not be utilized especially the places where there is no supply of internet access to the people, how this ve used so the people will rely to fiat money as usual medium of exchange of goods in the market.
We don't need cryptocurrency to be accepted world wide before it could replace fiat and I'm saying this cause you and I both know cryptocurrency through something. How ever, if we do our home work, if a total secure crypto payment systems which will make crypto currency easy to use in daily activities just like fiat is implement people will keep coming in and with this crypto will have chance over fiat.

it's hard to feel bitcoin to replace fiat money. Bitcoin only fulfills one of the currency functions, namely as a payment instrument. Bitcoin will not completely replace conventional currencies, only, bitcoin will be an alternative currency. we cannot necessarily change the mindset that has been embedded in society about the use of conventional money into digital money in the form of bitcoin. In addition, bitcoin does not have a deposit or credit mechanism like a conventional currency

Crypto has gained some popularity, but taking into account its highly volatile market it has very few changes to replace fiat money.
Governments, of course, will be strictly against adopting crypto.
Future prediction is that fiat and crypto will coexist, with crypto focusing more on online trading.

It's not time for crypto to take charge of fiat because in reality fiat is more used as a daily payment tool. Fiat is regulated by the government and it will strengthen fiat to remain a legitimate currency.

Considering the features and needs of the people and the central government of any country replacement of the fiat currencies is not possible by cryptocurrencies. That is because both of these two types of currencies possess their unique features in them and on the other hand we need access and special knowledge to use cryptocurrency. So it will take a longer time to full fill this thing and i think that governments would never choose quitting fiat as it is more risky

Very good post.Thanks.The government doesn’t care what currency to use. Dollar, euro, ruble. No meaning is lost from the name. Money is a confirmation of the value of a product or service. Now the world has long ceased to be monopolistic. There are no countries that are completely closed from the outside world. That is, the Foundation for the adoption of cryptocurrencies has already been created. It remains only for large and small countries to sit down at one negotiating table and accept the cryptocurrency. It's not that hard to do.But there are many problems to make such a decision. Many of the rulers believe the cryptocurrency is a digital asset which erases national boundaries.(it is)This fact completely contradicts the state policy.Until everyone understands that all mankind is one civilization and we all live under the same sun on one planet, then cryptocurrency will be implemented everywhere. So far everyone is even in the head divided by nationalities, borders, countries. This is also another problem. We deserve to live well. Each of us deserves it. And with the help of cryptocurrency you can build such a world. And I hope that it will come soon.

I do not see crypto totally replacing fiat anytime soon. Besides the concerns we are too much used to fiat to rapidly replace it. I rather imagine a co-existence here

Fiat will never be replaced in the future? Blockhain or crypto? I think many hackers will be going to be if no fiats in the future. If you know what I mean there will be many hackers that try and try to hack or scams in blockchain or crypto. Until now there are many of them trying some exchanges to turn down of infiltrate.

I think both should grow together to support the economy. Fiat is irreplaceable, whether crypto. Demand for Fiat is always present and indispensable in trading, trading, and investment.

Not in the near term. It will be a loong and difficult path to mass adoption but we'll get there.
Yes we'll get there, I think so too. I am not utterly convinced, we'll get there with bitcoin, though... Well, anyway, we'll see soon enough.
