Totally understandable. I would highly recommend mining ALT coins and then playing the trading game on an exchange. It is much more profitable this way, but requires a bit of skill to trade well. Unfortunately I do not posses this trading skill and for some reason always bought high and sold low. There are quite a few who have rented from me and made a large profit. =)

The total amount of BTC will vary depending on the exchange rate of the day at the time of rental commencement.
According to cryptsy, the current rate as of 29 Dec 13 @ 0717 AEST is 0.0310 BTC/LTC.
Rig #1 or #2 is 2.5 LTC per day.
2.5 LTC x 28 days = 70 LTC.
70 LTC x 0.0310 = 2.17 BTC for Rig #1 or #2 for 28 days.
You will also receive 48 free hours on top, due to a 28 day rental.

Rented several rigs for some time now. I'm more than satisfied. This service is really great, owner is always available to contact - I was able to change my pool config whenever I want. There were very little downtime but they compensated it with extra hours. (Even more than actual downtime, for example if there were 1 hour downtime , they gave me 2-3 extra rental hours)
I strongly advice this service to all alt-coin miners!

I have only ever used tompool for auto coin switching. It works well and was profitable, but I only did it for 1-2 weeks.

We normally receive the following details:
Forum/Advertisement: bitcointalk/litecointalk/gumtree
Username: forum username
Rig #: Rig #1, Rig #2, etc
Duration: 24 hrs, 72hrs, 1 week, etc
Payment Method: LTC, BTC, Cash
We will then confirm availability, payment addresses and request the following:
Main Pool address, worker name and password
Backup Pool 1 address, worker name and password
Backup Pool 2 address, worker name and password
Backup Pool 3 address, worker name and password
Backup Pool 4, etc.
Pool management method: Failover, load balance, etc.
Once payment has cleared, we will email you when your rig is setup and running.
We also request that notice be given at least 24 hrs prior to the rental period expiring. If another job starts directly after yours, we have to wait for that job to finish before allocating the machine back to you.
