Yes i think it is a cool trend and not only it will be mutually beneficial for both the sports and crypto project but also it will help crypto gain more popularity and also will help in adoption.
It seems to me that we will still be able to see quite a lot of the project that will implement cryptocurrency in the sphere of sports interests of the society, as well as fans in various sports. If we take for example gambling, which are related to sports events, their activity is developing quite actively.
if you dismiss about rates like a tote yes, then blockchain-based projects can have real results. But And if we talk about investing in sports, the cryptocurrency can be the same financial contribution as other values.

I don't think it is something new that a cryptocurrency is sponsoring the world of sport I think it has happened before and would still continue to happen because the real source of money is leaving fiat and coming to crypto, very soon we would not just sponsor small part of the sporting world but the entire sporting world in general, we might even come up with our own championship games in football and other sports around the globe.

We are heading for the top and no one can stop us from getting there including the government themselves.

Currently cryptocurrency market is making many sponsorship deals with sports world and in Feb it was announced that FutoroCoin would be sponsoring formula 1 team.
I, personally think this is super cool news for cryptoworld as it shows that it’s not just a trend but so much bigger than that. What do you guys think?

Whenever you share any news, ensure to leave a link to the article been shared:

Quote from: The Team Principal of Red Bull Racing, Christian Horner, stated the following about the new partnership

“In recent years, the rise of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies has been truly remarkable, and we’re delighted to be the first Formula One team to embrace this, through our partnership with FuturoCoin.”

These has been happening since 2017 when cryptocurrency price soar higher: read bellow article for a clue.

Yes. Be sure to always do this. Or next time no one will believe you and will just ignore every thread that you will make for they will get nothing out of it.
I only saw one that really highlighted in one sport.
GCOX. It was advertised at the corner when Manny Pacquiao was fighting Lucas Matthysse. It was easy to spot because of the large letters.
Although they did not really sponsored the game, that was still a big step for crypto currencies. Celebrities joining our midst despite the bashes that are incoming with bitcoin and blockchain technology.

Can we talk about how weird this is?
When you type "futuro coin" on google the 4th search result is a scam review. If you take a look at the review you'll find out why it's weird.

I disagree. Cryptocurrencies need this kind of advertising in order to become more popular over time. Celebrities endorsing crypto also helps in making certain coins go viral.

Marketing is just as important as the development aspect which is why this step is needed for mainstream adoption over time.
How is it needed when celebrities are promoting useless coins remember when floyd promoted stox? I wouldn't mind if they we're promoting a more popular cryptocurrency like Bitcoin.

I think that this cryptocurrency wants to gain popularity towards sponsoring that said formula 1 team and I think this is another way that they think to make a benefit out of sports, But I think the bearish market will surely have an effect on establishing their partnership Because of many investors taking a break from entering the crypto world, But maybe this will sure make a marketing strategy and keeping a combined interest in both Sports and cryptocurrency.

Can we talk about how weird this is? I mean, first of all, why would a formula 1 team sign a sporsonship with a relatively unknown cryptocurrency? I would understand if it was Ripple or Stellar...but Futurocoin? I'm pretty sure most of us have never head about this shitcoin prior to this news. I love the idea of marketing cryptos in different sports, I think they help to further legitimize cryptos, but this one, looks a bit fishy to me.

I definitely wouldn't fomo buy this shitcoin because of this news.

Not really a great news for crypto. Celebrities are happy to take a million dollars to promote some of these coins. And because of the backing, people fall into the trap of investing in some terrible coins as well. Overall it only brings bad name to crypto. I don't understand how does promoting a racing event with crypto bring anything to the development of the team. They should just use the money to budget their development, instead of wasting it on events which have no returns.

Well its a great news. Even though I am seeing this for the first time but I am not surprised that its happening so far it can be established that the crypto is not from illegal means then there should not be any form of restrictions to sponsor any program or sporting event. I want to see this go on a high scale by seeing it in games like EPL or WWE which attracts higher number of people across the world. Now the concern is that the coin that would be advertised would be coins whose ownership or developers can be identified which puts bitcoin at a disadvantage in my opinion.

Looking backward on those ICOs and other projects, endorsed by famous actors / sportsmen and other kinds of celebrities in most cases were shady. It feels like someone just had decent contacts with celebrity managers and decided to get rise some easy money.
The only safe usage of cryptocurrencies related to sports, for now, is betting.

This would be a great idea but we need sponsorship in the biggest sports like tennis or football because formula 1 is not the best way you can promote something, even though it has millions of followers. If I remember correctly I once saw a commercial of a bitcoin gambling website during a Champions League match and I was surprised wondering if that was true. I think that's the kind of promotion you need to make in sports, a tennis championship would be even greater but for all of this you have to pay a lot.

I think e-toro is advertising something like "Buy BTC" on most of the premier league matches. You know around the pitch on the moving billboards and that probably most cost a lot, it is however beneficial to "mass adoption" idea.

Well if we're being honest, stuff like this don't necessarily mean it's not a trend anymore, just that some crypto companies are already big enough to pay for high value sponsorships. This coin in particular hasn't even been around for a whole year; who's to say it's still going to exist next year?

I personally dislike that crypto is being marketed for investment, but different strokes for different folks. Some exposure is nice I suppose.
