We need crypto telegram channels because with help of these channels we will know what is going with the project right know. You can asked admins what you want or like to know very easily.
That is different. The channels being talked about here are run by non-authentic people who are self-proclaimed market experts and technical analysts. People who subscribe to these channels only help in inflating their subscriber number and nothing good comes out of it from reading a bunch of analysis posts just to pump the market. You need to do your own TA for that.

There are also some airdrops sharing channel .
Airdrops are just more shitcoins to pile up in your already filled up shitstack of tokens.

Some tines crypto channels organise quiz contest you can take part in it and earn some cryptocurrencies.
Thats not bad as long as it is a quiz that is not directed to buying/shadow shilling a certain asset. Like making the subscribers accept that a certain asset is going big when it is actually false.

So looking at these channels they are very good for giving us lots of news about cryptocurrencies.
Not really.

Most of the telegram channels run paid promotion and sometimes they used to provide trading signals. If a person genuinely wants to learn to trade they should stay away from any kind of such signals. When ever investing any ICO/IPO it is better to investigate personally.

Cahennel Telegram will not be the best place to look for really good ICO / IEO recommendations.

We know that today's telegram channels can be made by anyone. Many scammers who use telegram channels to trap people to take advantage as much as possible. Telegram channels with many members will not guarantee that they are relevant and can be trusted.

I get a lot of fraudulent updates when I join many telegram channels and it's very annoying and I have to be careful not to be fooled by scammers.

This forum is one of the places you can rely on to find information that you don't get on the telegram channel.

There is no best telegram channel/group or in the making that promotes something or anything that they can gain, most of them are promoting their services (obviously), biased reviews, useless airdrop, and bounties, especially baseless trading signals.

For people who do have experience then they will surely tell these things which i do fully agree on this one where i dont see the relevance of these crypto channels on publishing out news yet most of them are just
being linked up with known news sites that we know but most of the time they are just shilling out their service or just trying to spread out links neither came from a bounty project, hyip and other
related stuffs thats why i highly put this thing on ignore and im just using telegram for contacting some of my friends but in talks of crypto related things then its already a dead thing for me.

The article quoted here is a "sponsored" one. I hope everyone posting here knows and understand what that means. It is a paid article posted on coinidol and is being "shilled" here since posting here is free and thus getting some traffic from the forum.

Of course whether to trust a telegram signal channel is the person's own choice but there are fools who think they will make money listening to other people and how they predict the market because they never ventured into the stock market let alone the crypto market. But these people are also the ones who end up calling bitcoin a scam because they lost money while listening to a shill promoter.

It is always better to develop your own APIs for keeping track of market volume and orders as well.

Scammers are everywhere, don't blame the Telegram or other social media platforms. Just be careful because there is no way get rid of scammers forever.
Exactly! I agree with this since I also a member of a ton of telegram channels or group chat discussion way back and I received a lot of scam attempt for some random user there, and none of them succeed and I really don't give a F.
As what also other said is telegram is prone to scams, so this is kinda scary for some newbie user that don't aware on such activities of scammers, so it will always start in ourselves on how to avoid such scammers.

One thing I don't like about Telegram channels even the "recommended" ones they  are most likely biased or comes with a hidden agenda to scam people. Even if the Channel is real there is no stopping scammers from lurking and picking off members to invite to their own channels so that they can scam them as well. Telegram is basically something you wanna stay away not unless you just use it as a messaging app for your family only without joining any crypto related channels out there since it will really be a bad idea.

Sure this isn't a list of top Telegram channels to get spammed from? Just saw the article (don't know why I did it tbh) and you do need to make a bigger list than this (half of it is your own channels!) with better qualifying statements... as in, why exactly is it the best [like you say, extensive information, but what specifically is this]? Who are the moderators/admins and what are their expertise/qualifications?

I'd be curious also, how many scams did these channels correctly identify?Wink

Not all people would really have that time to waste to look up for some news in telegram yet going to most preferable news site would be much more worth to read on.
The only thing i do saw on some groups when it comes to alerts but most of the time i do totally ignore these stuffs and maybe these things are quite relevant to some
but on majority these are just being ignored.
That's also right. Some news published in telegram are relevant for many who follows updates in a specific target. As i said, telegram is a tool for communication and can be used to reach many good objectives. But telegram is known by his worst reputation alerting fake news and announcing scam shemes.
In fact, there is no good opportunities announced officially in telegram. People should be aware joining groups with thousands of subscribers, especially in the crypto field.

Yeah we know that fact but not all informations that shows up on telegram is tending to scam out newbies yet there are still valuable ones.It will just depend on how you do verify things up first before making any step
or decision towards your crypto investment.
I still doubt about what useful content in telegram which not published in public platforms.
Not all telegram users are old ecperienced. Most of them are newbies redirected by a paid ref program while experienced users won't use telegram as a source of good contents.
You got it right!

I believe its very out dated to talk about ICO and IEO even if some are still taking place.
The market moved forward and the so call ICO experts which controlled the market in 2017, re no longer relevant for Blockchain businesses.

I think crypto telegram channels become more popular now in the crypto industry. We see big progress, even bitcoin now so popular among common people.
They are popular because they can easily communicate with everyone there but I'll tell you that be vigilant whichever telegram channel that you join.
There can be a stranger that will just send you a message out of nowhere and will attract you to bite the bait.
It's started also become popular even non-crypto. We are even using Telegram in our team in the work. Our daily communication is in Telegram, easy to use, fast, secured, and really light for every device especially using it on mobile phones or different devices.
But I also agree that a lot of cryptocurrency groups are in the telegram now, channel/group chats. I hope telegram will not take advantage of these. And the list mentioned above of channels, I haven't yet heard them but I will start to visit them.
There is no problem to use telegram as a tool of communication in the same way we use icq or discord. But it's a case sensible when it came to crypto as it can be used to deceive others so people should take a step back before to use the app. I remember how popular was "Slack" before the huge wave of successfull hacks using email invitation which is an option that can be used in slack, crypto users left it forever.
Maybe it's not that easy to find a cleaner alternative.

Telegram channels are a bad place to get advice especially those groups that claim to be experts and that they will give you the best opportunities to get the cheapest ICO/IEO offers.
Also, many of these channels are famous for being scammers, so it is best not to recommend them, especially for beginners.
The best place to receive advice and obtain information is decentralized forums. Perhaps this forum is the best place, so it is better to visit some boards to learn more.
