I suggest to you neither... consider crypto investing. It might be a good time atm to invest in crypto, or anytime in the first half of 2019.
Why I say investing and not trading. Well because I think you will do much better if you make a position and wait 3 - 5 years before selling. Wait for new bull market to unwind, and try to sell when there is euphoria and everybody is calling BTC to go to 1M... this way you will probably earn more than if you actually regularly trade, but most of all you will stress less, and you will have plenty of time for your everyday things.
Except if you are trading professional, which you are probably not cuz you wouldn't be asking for advice here...

Of course cryptocurrency trading is better than online betting games. I recommend you don't think about to play betting. Cause it is high risky and I've some experience about it. If you don't have even basic knowledge about trading, candlestick and technical analysis, and many others thing, then, I think, it should be better to choose gambling. There are more chances to win compared to the market 
although we didnt have any skill, but please dont put your money into gambling table.its easy to run and need no skills.but our opportunity to earn profit was equal with our loss.I would never choose gambling even if I knew that the probability to win is very high. It is always a risk, and it is an addiction. Trading is a very good business that can help you earn if you are ready to work.
If I have 2K usd budget, I will buy it cryptocurrency. As of now, I can buy more altcoins because they are cheap right now. I don't know much about online betting and I don't want to try it unless I gain a lot in trading. Bear market is good for buyers, specially those who are waiting for the market to fall. Soon, ohr profits will arrive but right now, we need to buy more!
Given that the online betting is for sports, I guess there are more chances that you can grow your money there than crypto trading. In Sports betting, you get the odds who is the favorite and whos the underdog. You just pick which one will likely win with the help of of those odds. In crypto trading, you need to learn technical analysis or let someone do this for you. Problem with Sports betting and you bet at the one that is a favorite, returns are very low.

Both have risks and their respective benefits, but only the methods are different. For those of me who don't like online betting, I immediately chose crypto trading, even though trading is now a little less expected because market conditions continue to decline, but at least we can avoid these losses by holding them back.
Online betting is based more on luck than crypto which requires you to gain knowledge and experince first. But in all online betting has more to offer than crypto trading.

Betting is not for everyone, I have seen a lot of people who lost their Everything by playing bet game. Crypto trading is much easier than Betting. Anybody can buy BTC, ETH or higher ranking coins and then keep them hold for the future profit, But Online betting is different here. So, I would recommend Crypto trading, not online betting.
In my opinion it is more profitable to buy crypto currencies. By making online bets, you just play on luck and nothing really depends on you. With the purchase of crypto currencies, everything is different. Here you can influence your decision and change it depending on the circumstances. You can bought the currency, earned as much as you consider necessary and close the deal. Or if the price of the currency doesn't grow, then you can sold the currency and fixed a small minus. By betting you will not have such opportunities and you win or lose everything.
For example, if you buy Bitcoin, then in a year you will be very happy that you bought it, since its price will increase significantly. This is an example of behavior for lazy or very busy people. You just buy and wait.

If I were you, even you're still a newbie crypto trading is the good one for you to start, only invest for small capital while exploring yourself in learning here compare to online betting is much more higher risk than Crypto trading. Try also to watch tutorial in video on youtube or ask here in the forum besides many members here are accommodating to those who is asking about this things.
Well, as far as Online betting is concerned, you are completely dependent on luck, as there is no skill involved. On the other hand, for crypto trading you have to more rely on skills instead of luck.
Betting is noway can be compared with online trading, If you really want to bet keep a low budget for that like 100 USD, if your luck shines you can earn money from that 100 USD as well, online trading is a business, treat it like a business, like the amount invested, the risk taken and the reward calculation. If you are new to trading then try with a small amount, learn different analysis, technical, fundamental and sentimental, learn to make a plan, practice more and more than only you can earn from online trading.
Although, the market has been going down for some time, i would still recommend crypto trading. As the market is down, so the price is low. If you invest now it would be very profitable in the long run when the market goes in bull trend.

betting for some people is an instant way to increase assets very quickly and this considers probabilities and luck, very different from trading which uses market analysis, market trends and also technical and fundamental factors. I suggest trading because it has a lower level of risk with a balanced profit compared to betting

you would surely lose it out. Risk factor will be greater than on newbie on trading. Gambling can give you out instant lose of money.
