That is a surprise. While the fact that the fee stays in the wallet it nice, you should take the fee and keep it for yourself to encourage the site to live longer.

He can still profit in this by playing the game without using the fees he charged. If I were him, I will code a script at the back end to alert myself if the balance is positive in 12 hours time and set up an API to automatically deposit Btc from his own personal wallet to play.

What if the time has expired on an address' deposit and you already received payment. Should you not recycle that into program but transfer to another wallet first? Asking because I'd like to have two addresses dedicated to the site with only one deposit from each at a time (easier to keep up with).
