Not all the alternate currencies in crypto have the potential to stay alive like bitcoin but still i guess BCC and Ethereum and BCH have the ability to compete.
Some cryptocurrencies are strong enough to actually be a future cryptocurrency. and i have high hopes for coins like Ethereum that are valuable and useful.
I can say cryptocurrency has a future ,for now its been popular .I think in the near future it will be the payment system and also a banking system worldwide.Crypto has more benefits and its fast growing make us rich due to profits and extra income from it.
It's quite obvious what coins are the future - Ethereum and Ripple, they are literally skyrocketing as we speak and because i sense another correction coming, these coins will be the only ones that will not be affected as much.

I don't think that Crypto currencies will be a well accepted in the normal market since there is just speculation. But meanwhile we have to take advantage of it

Well you should look on the coinmarketcap for you to see and judge what coin/s will have a big future or a big potential to rise in 2018 and also do some research for you to choose yourself what coin for you investing in but if you ask me, for me the top coins are litecoin and ethereum because they have a huge potential to be the next bitcoin and also, they are stable coins so, you have lower risk to lose your money than investing in new coins.
2018 should be successful in crypto-currency. Many believe that the prices for some crypto-currencies will reach 500% by the end of 2018.
