In my own opinion, it would bitcoin. Since bitcoin is the most long running coin of all time; I think that it is hard for other coins to defeat it. And also it will still useful after five years since many people are starting to invest with it. For the other three it is up to you to decide, but all I can say that always put bitcoin on the top of your list.

Instead of taking peoples advice i would suggest you to do your own research when it comes to investing in crypto currencies. Select few coins that have potential and under valued. Filter out the coins that are clone/shit coins. Start analyzing those selected coins and find out their potential in the future. Since you are trying to hold your investment for long term, i would suggest investing on coins that are popular like Bitcoin, doge coin, litecoin, eth and strartis.

If you want to invest and forget about coins for such a long time, then it is best to choose Bitcoin, it is the most stable, but in 5 years a lot can change in crypto.

Bitcoin as the main investment in cryptocurrency and I think it is enough if you only choose bitcoin than the other coin. As you rightly put it, Bitcoin is good enough for investment in cryptocurrency.
