There is trouble abrewing
nah, that doesn't seem to be the reason for it.
if anything it is rising because the popularity of bitcoin is rising and people want to own more and more of it any way they can. most of them start buying it directly, some choose mining, and some others will choose "getting paid to" methods to earn more bitcoin instead of buying it.
and by extension this may also happen to altcoins as well but not as much since they are not viewed as currencies but only as speculative assets.

I dont think there is any effect with employment with the market being down. Career opportunities has always been there. The fall of bitcoin could actually increase salaries but the volume of people hired is just the same. Price attracts people so its a good way to promote icos if the salary is in btc.

Not really smart for people who are depending on their income in order to survive. You're pretty much-telling people to earn money from selling their services online, then holding the bitcoin for a long period of time in order to (hopefully) sell it for more money later on. There's no guarantee that this is going to go up forever. We've seen downturns (pretty heavy ones)

If you need this money to survive, don't put it in bitcoin. It's really plain and simple.

"Cryptocurrency career opportunities are going up as the markets are falling downwards. Why? It's good to negotiate for jobs or if you're a jobs employer, you can negotiate for better expense deals as most websites/influencers/services have dropped values and prices. It's a good time to get into crypto (not necessarily investing money into it) if you were thinking about it last year."

Thats really good thought and different way to get involved with the crypto world. However an opportunity with the crypto currency is just available in the western countries as third world still struggles from the technological advances and unfortunately there is nothing much we can do about it really. Also, there are many more opportunities in the different ICO projects that are emerging now a days. From technical advisor to the hard core developer, everyone os getting the employment and this is filling up that quota who used to be under literate without jobs! Its not about the market situation but it is all about the opportunity seeker and how much crypto world has to offer to us.

Hearing same things all over again as the market went down and opportunities knocks and come in. Though I agree with your post, it is always easier said than done. People nowadays are so smart that they tend to know how to chase and grab that moment for them to be able to gain and earn more.

This might be a good time for the companies or the ICOs to hire people since the prices are going low and they can hire at lower wages . But that scenario just seems too unrealistic to be to be honest . Bitcoin is highly volatile and so does the other crypto currencies , what if in future the prices are again at a good level and there is a huge difference between what the employers expected to pay to their employees ?
That would just create a fud among them nothing else.

If you are a programmer, advertiser, translator, and many many advantages
In any labour market is the effect of inertia. If you are a programmer and were it before the beginning of the growth of demand for this profession then you got your bonus. But when everyone sees that this industry is the most promising in a few years, we see a huge number of unclaimed professionals. It seems to me that demand for programmers will decrease now.

well markets are being manipulated and kinda go with cycles. But there are not many good devs and companies need a lot more. So yeah why not we're still very early
The need of devs for every coin is immense and that demand surely won't stop soon. It doesn't even matter that the markets are down if you work in crypto you will get paid the same $ amount in your national currency which makes that part irrelevant. Instead those with safety nets should focus on what the future will hold because if some of these projects connect, they will fundamentally change the way we view the world, do our finances, and view the past systems in place.

Dealing with the right people with this kind of opportunity is the most necessary to thing to look, you may waste your time from scammers you get the work done they will not gonna pay you, your dealing with an online personality that you never met in person as the people on the internet are anonymous, as you've said negotiation is necessary and it needs to include the assurance of the work, project and the compensation for the job that you are doing, cryptocurrency expands the contingency of works and jobs but it doesn't mean scammers don't slip the chance to scam people on this field.

Businesses and projects are forward thinking. BTC may be down now compared to the high but YoY it's way up still. Employers have to plan for what's coming, not what is.

Hi,

It is indeed interesting... If you can ensure that your job won't disappear within the next few months. You can negociate something as prices are low, but this "something" shouldn't be re-negociable when prices bounce back. I understand the idea behind this post, and I understand why many people in the community are willing to work on this environment.

Though, I think it is a highly risky environment. So if you need to ensure the living of a whole family (especially if you have children), well... You should think about it well before running into it!

Yes for me its a career opportunity. It is the best time to invest when you know that market have a history of bull run. Just be positive and always set your goal as long term goal. I'm making it as a investment.

For me, it is a good opportunity to buy some good altcoins while the markets are down.

There still are a lot new crypto-related projects launching every day and the market is still in its infancy. So despite the downfall, there will be more and more jobs in the sphere.

At the beginning of last year, the price of bitcoin was below 2000 dollars. What are you saying? Income is always income. At any price for bitcoin, you can and should work. Those who want to work will always be able to earn enough money for life. Now I hear from all sides cry. These people are lazy to me. They wanted to do nothing. The limit of their desires was a constant increase in prices. It never happens.
