You forgot bestchange. It's not a casino but it was like an exchange though chipmixer is older than them. Lately there is a mixing service here and others but I bet they won't last any longer. The one's that usually last longer here are gambling sites. That's because gambling is a booming industry and will continue to do so now that the internet is accessible in the palm of our hands.

Ico days are over but in the past days where it is still relevant, they are only being promoted in the bounty section and not in the service section which pays in bitcoin. Same goes with ido and ieo or the trends which are next to ico. That's because those projects has their own token and that is the medium that they use to pay their participants.

With the exception of Chipmixer, all the other signature campaigns are Crypto casino based, some are still for many years this is big proof that the Crypto casino industry is booming and the ICOs days are over, seven years ago all the signatures you see here are all Cryptocurrency projects.

Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?
Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?

The time of ICO ended back in 2018  Grin
I don't think BTT will ever be associated with gambling. If you leave this section you will find that gambling is a minor part of the forum. The fact that the forum is dominated by gambling advertising is only a consequence of the fact that projects have restrictions on advertising through traditional channels. Plus, there is a lot of target audience.

As far as altcoin signature campaigns, obviously they have their own board and probably most of us are not familiar sign we prefer Bitcoin paying campaigns. But I don't think that this community will be known as gambling forum per se. It is still known as "Bitcointalk", meaning everything under bitcoin could be discussed here.

And this has been the trend for most bitcoin paying campaigns, majority of them are into gambling, even before majority of us who joined here, circa < 2017.

Alt sig campaigns are still ongoing. But I can agree if in terms of assurance of payment, only btc-paying campaigns here are highly recommended.
There are few long-running campaigns like the mentioned chipmixer, bestchange, gold stablecoin, but yes, most btc-paying are gambling sig campaigns.
Bitcointalk is still accommodating all kinds of campaigns, and remember, it is only one perks of this forum.
This forum was not built because of these campaigns, but to serve crypto enthusiasts with various valuable discussions not only in crypto.
It is just that most casinos are the ones who are financially capable of paying btc to their participants. Which means, they are doing good in their business.

This is not a gambling forum though, this forum is more about cryptocurrency and as long as they are related to crypto campaign, then they are pretty welcome. I see the success of many casinos here with their campaign, but not all stay longer compare to big gambling sites. Altcoins campaign are still here and they are doing good as well, a lot of bounty hunters are still participating with a lot of projects that means they are still paying. Altcoins campaign might continue to grow as well, this forum is slowly being recognized by many.

With the exception of Chipmixer,
You forgot to mention Best Change too, i believe that is not a cryptocurrency casino.

Nothing last forever is a popular saying, but indeed, crypto casinos are booming, this i agree with you, and for how long this will continue is something we all can speculate about, but my guess is that its likely to last for many many years, since gambling is an industry that's growing each and every passing year.

No, though gambling and cryptocurrencies can continue to co-exist on this forum, gambling have its board and cryptocurrencies have its own board too, i think it will continue to remain this way for a long time, this forum can never become "mainly" gambling forum.

Altcoin signatures are still very much available, just that users no longer give it attention since most of them (if not all) are not profitable, most of them are outright scam using this forum through signature campaign to reach more audience who also is their potential victims, and most times , they end up not paying the users that promoted them, this is why forum users now flock to Bitcoin paying signature campaigns.

I haven't yet come across a website or community with millions of persons interested in cryptocurrencies like you find here. Everyone in the forum has some connection to cryptocurrencies and a reason for being in the forum. There is no better place for crypto casinos to promote their brands than right here. Since Google has already prohibited cryptocurrency-related ads, I'm confident that this signature advertisement for crypto casinos will continue for a very long time because I don't see Google changing its mind anytime soon.

Don't forget that there is still an altcoin campaign that has been running for years and is still surviving, namely Gold Stablecoin
If another business sees that there is an opportunity to gain exposure to its website it may be that a different business will advertise on this forum through a signature campaign, but that's only a possibility until we see it actually happen.
However, promoting altcoins in this forum seems to be difficult because most of them are not legit.
Campaign Gold Stablecoins are the only ones that last for long term campaigns but they have few participants and monthly payments (if I'm not mistaken). I appreciate that they are the longest running altcoin campaign in this forum and I am sure that the project will get good feedback from the impact of that campaign. But it is difficult for altcoin campaigns/bounties to grow again because most altcoins from projects are not legal, and now many top new projects are changing promotion patterns to provide incentives for participants to take tesnet, feedback, swaps and more. So it seems that many members are hunting to become part of the gambling campaign because of the weekly payouts and the long-term running of the campaign.

This is wonderful. The campaign was first announced in July 2019 and it is still running till today. I don't know that a bounty campaign can last this long. It is a good one. There are some facts one will get to know everyday or some forgotten that we get reminded of in this forum.
It takes only genuine project to last more than one year and still promoting their project. Kudos to Gold stable coin.

Even back then you would see mixers and gambling sites advertising here in the forum. Now a days no one gives a shit about alts, forget about scams and the ICO as both are synonymous  Cheesy.

As the name suggests it is a bitcointalk forum and multiple topics are covered here. Alts days are over a long back. You do not need someone to create new alts everyday Tongue

There's no way of telling how long the trend of crypto signature campaigns would last since we don't know when will other crypto services are planning to set up their signature campaign.

Some of the signature campaigns coming from the alt section were good back then but now they have more ways to promote their crypto aside from signature campaigns here in the forum so I doubt we'll see them come back. On the other hand, we could see more campaigns potentially pay altcoins similar to how BK8 shifted their payments from BTC to Tether.

You may like to include Best_Change. It is not a casino campaign but it has lasted more than 1 year if not 2 years.

The days of altcoin signature campaigns is gone. It will not return again. Many altcoins are fake and would not spend much money to shill their project and there are other social media platforms to promote their projects.
Gambling rule this forum, honestly if gambling board is removed from this forum, I will not be here again.

Yes I think so, gambling is helping this forum. If not for the gambling sites that are advertising their services on this forum, this forum traffic would have reduced.

Bitcointalk is a bitcoin forum, but we can also say it is a gambling forum because most of the campaigns belong to gambling sites, but that does  not change that this forum is a bitcoin forum, the best you can get about bitcoin is from this forum.

I do not think altcoins can be like before, there can be some campaigns during bull run, but it seems more that gambling will dominate for long. The days of altcoins dominance is over.

There's best change as well that isn't chipmixer and a few other signatures that aren't related directly to gambling.

I think it's a matter of time before we see new campaigns coming out for different products (perhaps altcoins, exchanges, or crypto related services).

I remember one of the altcoin signature campaigns being malware though too and it seemed quite well paid - that was probably the reason. A lot of ICOs that are well advertised don't make profits for a long time and a lot that are poorly advertised need to be timed well so people probably exited because of that.

I also remember bitmixer and yobit seemed quite easy to enter which also took up a lot of signature space here for a while - they might also have had some role in deterring coinmakers and other companies from competing here - a 3 month ico campaign you have to be accepted into over a quick copy and paste task is probably not going to convince people to wait to be accepted.

One main reason I see is because crypto casinos are popping off literally almost everywhere every single day. It's hard to make your brand recognized without some form of advertising like signature campaigns. Bitcointalk is like the main hub for all things crypto and bitcoin, and once you get the word out from here, there is a huge possibility that your platform will be referred to another people of which the referral will come from here. Previously signature campaigns were dominated by ICOs and IEOs and all that stuff during the boom of those things, but eventually, the gambling campaigns outnumber them just because gambling is the same old story but with always a different face and a different feel for them.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
Let's start with the fact that not all signature campaigns are casinos. From time to time there's an altcoin signature and there are some unpaid campaigns or campaigns where you advertise the manager and he shares profits with you...
There used to be a few mixer campaigns but those other mixers got scared of possible legal action against them. It's not that only casinos want to use this form of advertising but there are some entities that actively fight crypto businesses and casinos mostly managed to avoid these attacks.

It depends on legality of bitcoin. If there's a framework in place more businesses will pop up and decide to advertise.
They will for sure. Altcoins usually flood the forum in bull market and get quiet in bear.

I wish we could see the numbers that can support this claim. Is there a tool or post that monitors the active signature campaigns running? Without numbers, we cannot see the real stats. Maybe we are just overwhelmed by the number of posts gambling signature makes a day.

Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?

I hope not. Bitcointalk is a forum about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I hate that it would diminish to a single section just because cryptocurrency's most usage is casinos and gambling.

Bounty campaigns still the majority of business here in the forum if you will compared the number of active campaigns on bounty board to the bitcoin marketplace service board. It's just many high rank and quality poster user preferred campaigns that pays in Bitcoin because it guarantee payment while bounty campaign reward rokens has no certainty that it will have value after the campaign.

But bounty campaign is still much dominant rather than bitcoin campaigns in terms of number and participants.

can't really answer this as a yes or no, but I think as long as crypto gambling sites deemed advertising here is profitable, then I'd assume the trend it'll continue for many years.

Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
I seriously doubt it. the name itself already tells you what the forum is, and just because a lot of gambling sites advertises here in the forum does not mean the forum will be known as a "gambling forum"

Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?
I don't know, maybe.
