Knowledge of course really support in everything, cryptocurrency knowledge can be available everywhere, friends, families or thru school. But if you got knowledge it will be better because it's free without any cost you can be smart. Google right now also save many things about cryptocurrency, of course you can access it easily.

As far as I know, I did not heard yet any open cryptocurrency course in any schools or university. Maybe because it is hard to research about it to made it as one of the curriculum in schools. However, some of us here, at first they did  not know what is cryptocurrency and just like me I learnt some ideas of crypto because of reading in this forum and sometimes watching on youtube.

If I were to choose and if I have the time, I would choose in taking a course about cryptocurrency because I know that I will be able to use my knowledge about it to come up with some ideas to earn from it. Most of my knowledge from cryptocurrency is from this forum given that I have been here for more than two years already. I may know the basics of it but still it would be great to learn it deeply. I may not understand totally the technicalities of it as I did not study computer related course but still knowing more about it would be great.

I personally think courses on Blockchain Technology would be more important and relevant than cryptocurrencies courses... or at least start with blockchain before that to understand the core tech behind these cryptocurrencies. Just my personal opinion though. I know there are several organizations that offer degrees for completing the courses.

Coursera

Consensys

MIT

Best of luck and enjoy ~

I came up to this recently https://www.coursera.org/learn/cryptocurrency
Has anyone tried enrolling in a cryptocurrency related course? Anyone who has completed one, either online or offline one. Any thoughts on taking one?

I think it is not a course that we will learn it and then we will use it now a days many of the crypto users have learned from YouTube and in my opinion if you are enroll in bitcoin forum many of the users will guide you for crypto but i think learning of these are good if we have available these coerces in the universities so during educations we would be ready.

I have never decided to come to a bitcoin course or anything else related to cryptocurrency. I only use Google and this forum to increase my knowledge of cryptocurrency. However, I've only been to came a conference on blockchain and cryptocurrency, just an education about the functions and benefits of blockchain and cryptocurrency in the future. And IMO is very useful, every country should have such routine events.

For now, seems like the cryptocurrency subject is not mandatory to be learned. But later if in the future cryptocurrency start to used international with massive scale, then i think there will be many courses being held about cryptocurrency and blockchain. So i think the time will come eventually.

It is a good thing that people give it a try to propose bitcoin courses. And for those who started this one, this can be a two way benefit for the two parties for learning bitcoin never stop. Atleast bitcoin users can be more educated when it comes to the dos and don'ts of the use of bitcoin.

If you are quite smart enough you don't need enrolling but taking courses are advance,  it might have different levels of information wherein you can use your background in crypto, the good thing is while you are taking that course you can also simply do self research, and having certificate from any courses has a big factor,  especially having a certified crypto professional can help you to companies who run projects by crypto. This is the new age.

I have tried to follow Bitcoin home network's Crypto course. They had an ICO and that failed. But They still updating crypto course. You can search it on google by that name. I have read XRP and Dash Course, that was a new and amazing experience. I think this Bitcoinhome network crypto course should be more popular and we need to spread it.

I think we don't need to pay much in enrolling to online courses just to know things about cryptos. We can already learn by browsing the internet and searching about things we want to know about it. The result will have no difference I guess, it's just you'll pay for your learnings or you'll learn by yourself.

It's interesting, but I don't think it's worth it. It seems to me that every person is able to understand the cryptocurrency if he wants and he does not need such courses.
Have you tried it? if you haven't tried it don't have an ending statement that its not worth it. Crypto is broad and you can focus with every detail that you want to become. From being a developer, researcher or anything that you want to build up while you are on it.

I haven't tried any course related to crypto but there's a possibility that course would teach you something that you don't know and you have also something that they don't know.

Crypto education can bring a pisitive impact to a newbie and those who are already involved as that will decrease the risk of panic selling. Education is a must.
Right it's better you have crypto education when joining in crypto, if you have knowledge in crypto you know how to face the risk and you what to do in your investment.

It has a certified electronic money trader course that can be taken online from the blockchain council. I have not tried it yet, but I think it would be fun to learn about crypto in the courses. For me, having a cryptography course will be good, it will complement your knowledge of electronic money. Then you will have the courage to take risks. Would be great learning from many people that have experience in this field. This is the technology of the future so I think people should study it

In my opinion, the cryptocurrency courses will be applicable or may happen if and only if the government take or make bitcoin and other cryptocurrency under their regulation, because how can government approve to teach cryptocurrency in students if the government itself didn't have the power to control bitcoin and any other coins. Also if it will be implemented many students will not be ready unless it will be taught on highschool or colleges.
