Same old same old. Wherever there is something to gain, there is bound to be scams. And the only difference you will be able to find will be the way they do it. Although there are minor differences in risk factors, everyone should always exercise caution. Because frauds already started long before we can even imagine. Easy way to be safer is to choose where you are comfortable, or learn as much as you can so you can be comfortable wherever you want and have as many options as possible.

In fact, fraud and scams appear everywhere. The most important thing is that you should always be careful before any investment decision. Be careful with projects committed to high profits, 20% / month or more because most of them are scam projects. You should also be careful with phishing websites, requesting to send your private key or wallet wallet file. Finally, find out carefully what you will do and be careful before all your decisions.

Fraud are everywhere, in a market like crypto where its less regulated, you can expect a lot of scammers that are just watching us looking to take the right opportunity to implement their fake or fraudulent activity.
---
This is the first rule we must understand. Investors, traders, bounties or airdrop hunters, are the target of fraudsters, when we decide to get involved in the world of crypto, we must be prepared to face all the risks. The crypto world does offer freedom, privacy and confidentiality, which is why we are fully responsible for every action we take. So before deciding to get involved, make sure we understand this ecosystem, all of our risks bear it.

---
By the name newbie he doesn't know on what's legit and what is not since the only thing they know is they can earn with the platform they are going since they see some people earning and the one who refers him the platforms shows that they are getting benefited from their investments. newbie should know anything who claim to earn passive big incomes daily are scam since there's no platform can do that. And its really good thing for experience people to show on what are scam platforms here since it can save the newbies time and money to know on what things to avoid.
When we are carried away by the flow and talk of people, we will easily be trapped in risk. It was the newbie's biggest mistake, being drawn to the world of crypto because of seeing the success of others, trying the same path but not having the ability to adapt. Often newbies want instant profits, thus ignoring the process, which is why they can only complain and blame others when caught in a scam.

Frauds and scams are not a problem of just cryptocurrencies, there are many more fraudulent activities run with fiat money.
So be aware of that and don't pass the message that Bitcoin users are all scammers and thieves, while on the contrary there are many criminal activities performed on traditional markets.

they are still a problem  . this isnt only for you or for us , we can say its not really a problem because we arent got scamed yet or rarely got scammed but scamers  can victimized new people every single day  . if we total what is lost , that still alot of money  . this also give a bad impression to some newbies that are going to enter on crypto world  even if they are aware that scamming is normal and also happen on traditional market  because cryptos arent really that normal since it was only on its digital form

so before a newbie start investing in crypto, he should know what crypto is all about and not driven by greed by thinking that he will get good profit.. a lot of projects attracting investors with high returns victimized newbies most. why?
because they are attracted by what is offered to them and they dont know how to spot a scam at a glance. so those scammers capitalize the attention from newcomers. good thing, a lot of users here in the forum are doing their work of exposing those potential scam projects. just head up to the scam accusations board to know some of them.

We do really need to read up everything first before throwing up some cash into the air or supporting some project. We know on how ICO investments turns out to be a shit nowadays and lots of them had already been exposed to be a scam thats why its really hard for current projects to succeed on getting a funding because people arent already that confident because of past experiences back in the years.
Frauds and scams would continue to exist because we are on a market that do involves money and its no surprise that there are criminal minded people will surely take advantage to those people
who dont know much in terms of investment and would really be get victimized if they do let their greed control them.People do only learn when they do commit mistake thats why sometimes i do just let
people that i do know to discover anything along the way.

In this industry, it's easy create fake project and scam scheme that targeted people who are new to crypto currency. It's sad to hear that many people abusing and using it to create fraud anywhere else on every corner of social media platforms are scattered. In order not to fall on these kind of scams is always do some research before engaging in these types of  hype scams that can be found in the internet. I fall for these scams before especially on HYIPs and that's what makes me more vigilant and more cautious.

This proves only one thing, and that is Bitcoin and Crypto market is really healthy thats Why Scammers, hackers and any Fraud are staying in this market.

Imagine Victimizing or targeting many people each day?his can only tell happening in every market that there a good flow of Money.

There are many attempt in me and to those people i know inside crypto but we agreed in one thing, that if you are not Greed person then there is no way that we will be a victim of this Dumb scammers.
the more you desire to earn quickly is the more you become vulnerable to their activities because the offering they can give is really mouth watering and the eagerness will surely covers your mind for a while, but after analyzing and realization?then you will discover that misleading and lei is what they are telling you.

Yes, I agree with you. There were a lot of ICOs last year and most of them fled with half-invested money. Then came the IEO, but after a lot of deception, when it is opened for trading, the price goes down a lot and the investor suffers a loss.
This is why many traders, investors have become interested in trading only listed cryptocurrencies. But if it continues like this, we will not see new ideas and projects anymore, it is very bad for cryptocurrency lovers.
at the beginning of 2020 many new projects had begun with movements that were very positive compared to the past few years. it's just unfortunate that the corona pandemic was quite disturbing when it started to improve, so many new projects had to turn around so that the project could go ahead because investors held back because of the pandemic.
but it is very sure that this year is the year of the rise of a good and very reliable new project, hopefully the pandemic can pass quickly and the new project returns to cheer.

Scam projects are everywhere nowadays from fake exchanges, free giveaways, impersonation and phishing e-mails or websites. Stay away from these type of ponzi scheme projects
Many can't spot them especially when you are a newbie in cryptocurrency

Exactly, scam attempts are everywhere and you can't escape them. But we have to be aware of that and always think how to protect us and that scamers always come to new and more sophisticated methods how to scam people.
Education and awareness are the only solution for scams because we can't stop there, scams have always been there where money is, that is how it works.

Jamesdila1 newbies are usually victims, but what they should do is to read before they start investing. First
learning then making profit, not other way around. Usually people come here on forum after they lost money.
Bitbunnny you are right, only thing that can save us from being scammed is education and awareness. We can't
get rid of them, scams and frauds are here to stay, what we can do about it is to protect ourselves, and to try
to warn others if we see something suspicious.

You know what is needed for this? It's simple, we need to be educated and we can do that by educating ourselves.
Think about this, if some people succeed in crypto, that means it's not possible to succeed despite of the fact that we are in a high risk market.

Accept the status of the market now and play it wise,

Lastly, "DON'T COMPLAIN"... (you are here because you took the risk) deal with it.

As time passing by, the victims of frauds and scams investment all over the internet is keep increasing. That is why government are also tackling about the laws and regulations about implementation and legalization of cryptocurrencies because it have disadvantages. People who will make investment with cryptocurrencies should be aware on what is legit and scam projects in order to not victim. We can avoid investing fraud projects by becoming intelligent investor where we have information about the project and if it can give us return or not.
Scam and frauds have existed before and will continue to exist in the future. Fiat money has been used for such illegal purposes for years. No government was able to regulate scam so that it would be out of existence. What has changed when phenomenon of cryptocurrency happened and bitcoin became a better alternative to fiat? Nothing has changed, it is still impossible to regulate anything. The notion that cryptocurrency is bad because it is being used in scam is just justification. If it weren't real money, it wouldn't be so attractive for scammers to steal it.

I think hos/her contribution to the community isn't bad, in as much as more than average of the members on this forum know how to safeguard their asset, a constant reminder and sharing of different ideas toward achieving a secure financial life should always be welcome. Beside, we still have new mwmbers signing up an account on the forum with each passing day with the intentions of learning more about this space, don't you think threads like this will go a long way in getting them hint up about how to get themselves secured?
