I would suggest you to trade them for Bitcoin or Ethereum, since they are the ones who seems more likely(at least from my point of view) to survive the test of time.
It really depends on the coin. I personally truly hope that in 5 years some banks are already accepting Cryptocurrencies into their storage at least and probably more people accepting them. It's certainly possible to do business with cryptocurrency, if a seller is not really a holder or can't afford to hold - They can sell it right away and put money in the bank. The most prominent barrier here it's the mindset of people themselves.
From my point of view, if you invested into the two coins you will probably have more money than when you started with the big % of returns you would have gotten per year.
However, i believe that the brightest part of Cryptocurrencies will come in around 10 years. If things are done right, everybody who have faith will benefit and human kind will be more advanced financially speaking. This could also open the door for the implementation of other technologies, like Blockchain.
