Unfortunately it's trending down. I talked to my mother about it the other day and she said that it has not been on the news as much as of late. Compared to before.
Maybe other people not talking about crypto because the market now are not good. But I see on social media crypto is not really trending but there are some people always talking about it and I guess those are the investors.
My mother is not into crypto. She's just your average regular person. What I meant in my posts is that it's not on the daily mainstream news.

Even today the topic is a hot one because of the dilemma that the prices are falling and people are still looking to invest in crypto. This is one step among many to maximize profit. Not necessarily all over the world as there are some countries in which bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies are considered illegal. With that in mind, there'd be no chance for it to be heard by the community.

Disregard that word illegal because even though some country considering it as an illegal still it is trending and very popular. Good and bad news are keep spreading in social media. soon, after the market recover, cryptocurrency will be more famous and makes people realize that cryptocurrency can be another solution to solve their finances problem. although there are illegal things that using cryptocurrency but it will not stop for cryptocurrency to grows more than now. and in the next year, there will be many more people that will join into cryptocurrency. cryptocurrency itself has a big chance to be accepted in all country because cryptocurrency really helps people to earn more money.
Exactly this, I am not convinced that cryptocurrencies are a trending topic now all over the world, they can be trending in a way (by negative news) but that is not for the good of the market, however I think in the future cryptocurrencies will be trending all over and people will buy mad amounts once they know about this wonderfull technology, if people knew they can earn more money and be their own bank wouldn't people invest? sure they will, only the news is trying to dodge that and don't want people to buy (yet).
