With the recent publication that BTC and ETH are not classified as securities, we all heaved a sigh of relief, but eventually regulations would most likely revamp cryptocurrency as we know it know.
2018 is not good for any cryptocurrency sofar. Bitcoin price is on the way downstream. It reached almost $6,000, but I think this price is normal because if we look the price in August 2017 it was about $3500 and if the price of Bitcoin increased with the market cap it was approximately the same is it is today. So I think these corrections are normal.

Just it seems to me that the coins that currently occupy the leading positions in the market will survive, because they have the value and demand for most people!

For me these corrections are normal. The price has been corrected from the wrong pump to normal position. Now the price is on the track. Little bit correction is the beauty of bitcoin because due to it new investors put their money in bitcoin. We must bear this situation calmly because we need to promote bitcoin in the world instead of making money from it.
Judging by the fact that the price of bitcoin again fluctuates in one place again, the correction is brewing, and the quantitative advantage is on the side of the longs, so I tend to believe that it will be, but most likely a small one. If the situation is positive, the price will stop at 6600 or 6450. Below there are strong levels 6300 and 6120, but the chances of testing them are low.
Already it has faced several massive price corrections. This at times generate panic among the users who were new to cryptocurrency based investments. However high the corrections might be, who trust on the network gets the best once the correction gets over leading to a forward price pumping.

Do we need to more correction from the present time dump we are seeing in the market now. I really worry about the marketplace value of bitcoin and other alts too, since I am hodling aroun 3 bitcoins in my wallet need to sell it for profit in next few weeks.

Someone mentioned that the price of Bitcoin will be corrected back in 2017 after the price got up to $19000. So that is what we are seeing now, and the price has become a little more stable than it used to be before. Things might have changed this year, but let’s wait till the end of this year, but like seriously things have changed.
