Hey everybody, I kinda finished that wonderful project (well, its alpha version...)
I think everything is working, even the BETS!! Yes, you can win MONEY just by playing fucking LIZARD with your cryptographic hand!

As it can still contain bugs it's working with Testnet coins/addresses
Some testing will be appreciated Smiley

I'm doing the UI, but can't find a decent favicon idea... If someone has one...

I even made it transparent for you.

I guess it ain't transparent, but easy to do. The color can easily be changed as well.

Everyone's heard of rock/paper/scissors, and since Bitcoin uses cryptographic hashes to make it secure, why can't rock/paper/scissors? Grin

So, here's what you do: Choose rock, paper, or scissors, and hash that , underscore, and 20 random capital letters, with sha256. For example, if you were choosing paper, you could hash "paper_WJJADWEQJGOSOTHIURXX", and get df9c9320c577fff3cfe35beb8e139a7ecb4d7fd155a48118f28d30e254128295.

Post your hash, wait for someone else to reply with their hash, then both people provide their original strings, revealing the winner. Sound fun?

You can use the random string generator here to get the 20 characters: random.org/strings
Choose 1 string, 20 characters, only uppercase letters.

I'll start with bb42b7b6f3522e643ba2880c986f8d7b4098a302a832e52a8d1e327071b3158f

Good idea you should make a web app
I'm not OP but I liked the idea!

Btw Gage, you can't have an even number of options because you need as many winning "battles" than defeating ones. I'm sure it's not clear I'll try to be clearer once I wake up in a few hours!

I assume that only applies to Base 10.
What? Being even or odd has nothing to do with bases

I was joking about Base 10, and still felt 6 gestures would work, but I now realize my error.

I made the rules for rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock-Bitcoin-FED
I'll upload them soon

You can bet that someone is making a bitcoin gambling site for that. It will probably also offer lizard and Spock too.

You stole my post!

But now that I'm here, how about introducing a new symbol: Coin. It could resemble the Okay gesture, but not sure where it would fit in. Definitely, Coin beats Paper.

It's a well-known fact that hexagons are better building blocks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexagon#Hexagonal_structures

Quote
From bees' honeycombs to the Giant's Causeway, hexagonal patterns are prevalent in nature due to their efficiency. In a hexagonal grid each line is as short as it can possibly be if a large area is to be filled with the fewest number of hexagons. This means that honeycombs require less wax to construct and gain lots of strength under compression.

Now, make your betting game!

Imagine if the above incorporates Bitcoin.
