I was furious with the fact that because of some kind of cats, I have to pay more for the transaction. I believe that this was a planned attack on the ethereum network.
CryptoKitties had a big impact on Ethereum Network, no doubt about that. I remember I could not complete single transaction without increase gas price from 4 > 21 > 30 > 40 > 45 Gwei! Kitties developers are fully aware of that because I was one of many users that took flustration to media and leave negative comments on their Facebook Page. It looks like now Ethereum Network is back to normal and working for me like a charm - Etherdela exchange is now fast and reliable with 1 Gwei.
This is a lesson for all of us that Blochain is not created for games, at least not in that form like CryptoKitties.

The more exposure Cryptokitties has to a wider audience the more noticeable it will become to larger investors hence a rise in ETH! I'm extremely excited for this move.
Probably everyone who regularly makes transactions in the ethereum network noticed this rise in the commission for the transaction. And very few people liked it. I did not like it at all, but I got used to it.
Personally I see this as a good thing.
Every great system needs stress tests to show developers where the weaknesses are and ETH still came through it even if it was slowed down for a week or two.

I see the benefit of creating crypto kittens. Many people for the first time got acquainted with crypto currency after their creation. In addition, crypto kittens were like load testing, which revealed the shortcomings of the ethereum. Now developers will try to eliminate these shortcomings.
I think it's a boon since it shows what a future killer app on eth will look like.
If the eth leads have the right approach then yes it will be possitive as the 'competence' have had made eth stronger with the 'attacks'

Yes, I agree. I'm sure that there will be analogues of this game in the future. If after that there will be a problem of loading Ethereum network at the same level, it will be very bad for Ethereum

the only benefit that can be from cryptokittens is the improvement of the etherium network, ie the solution of the problem, let's hope for it, otherwise from cryptokittens only harm.

So you are right, it was already passed and you can safely withdraw the ethereum to other addresses and do not worry that they will not reach

i was almost buying but thanks to overload of ethereum blockchain overload i couldnt buy. now i see i was doing Fomo.. thanks god i didn't buy.
It just helps to find solution to scale ETH network as it is first massive adoption but project itself is just a game, nothing more.
