Maybe I am getting Dejavu, it looks like this thread was created in 2020, however I think about a year ago there was a crypto gambling site EXACTLY based on this idea.
Where you simply buy a ticket and if its a winner you get those prizes which you would of won if you bought the ticket yourself. The operator keeps a small fee for doing this.
However it didn't succeed because there was many unanswered questions or simply due to lack of interest because in crypto, why play lotto when you can play dice and get the results much quicker.
The issue with this is. Imagine that you actually choose some winning numbers, they buy the ticket for you, they win $50 million dollars, you think they will send the $50 million to you? Most likely not.
This is why in most lottos, they tell you that the person who buys and signs the ticket is the winner. So if your Grandma give you $2 and some lotto numbers to play for her. If those are the winning numbers, the money is legally yours even though it was her money and her numbers. Hence why this idea will never work.
As I have repeatedly said, all the prizes are insured, and we are legally obligated to pay them to the winners. Maybe whichever site you are talking about didn't have this - in which case I could understand your point.
Our site allows people to play these lotteries that they would otherwise not be able to play, due to being out of that particular country. Your point about "why play lotto" - millions of people play the lotto every day and the excitement of watching the draws becomes part of that experience. There are also life-changing prizes to win on lotto, and you would not get that with crypto dice games. To repeat - all our jackpots are insured and paid out when someone wins.
I also note that you promote your own dice game. I checked to see if your jackpot prizes were covered by insurance, but apart from seeing that your jackpots are limited to 300k, I cannot see any mention of it. I would appreciate it if you didn't negatively post about our site just based on your own opinions, to try to get people into your dice game instead. I wouldn't come onto to your thread to do that. We have thousands of players in our sites who disagree with your assertions above - we are giving people who want to use cryptocurrency the option to play lotteries too.
