Let's not judge the project yet since its still halfway to complete, maybe he just show this to the world for people to understand that the work is in progress, there are any metaverse projects that aren't close to perfection yet, the majority are still hanging in BETA.
People will never understand it. They will always blame anything that has not yet proven. They think that create a product need a few days. Meta has been proven that if product needs years to be created. People can't always be patience.
Those people never create something in their life. As users they were only expecting to use it as soon as possible. that's why they were always impatience.

I saw another picture that you can now connect your wallets in Facebook and Instagram.

Honestly, that is a good feature but I guess that is not enough and there should be more to it.

Meta company is doing it and they are intervening woth these progresses that we see in the market.

The development of the metaverse is growing rapidly in the crypto world until the term crypto metaverse is used to refer to crypto coins that were developed with the development of the metaverse.

while in my opinion a potential metaverse crypto project is The Sandbox (SAND).
SAND itself is a block-chain game where players will get access and the opportunity to explore the virtual world of the metaverse. The world itself is full of non-fungible tokens (NFT), user-created environments.
SAND was designed to be a mobile game in 2021. But later, SAND evolved into a more complex game and was built on the Ethereum network. Transactions in this game also use Ethereum and The Sandbox (SAND) token which aims to support the economy in the game.

I do believe in a few years we will see the real metaverse that will be fully developed by zuckerberg and its company. The trailers of meta metaverse was so good. That looks like very attractive for me to see that. If we can use this to interact with others easily and then this will become the next generation from facebook. I hope that if that can be accessed without complicated device. This will create massive adoption.
I agree to this. I think it's still to early to judge because of what the selfie of Mark Zuckerberg looks like. They invested few billions in it and I think that's not the final result they are offering to us. Our technology is evolving and Metaverse is trying to conquer the space by leading it. Remember what facebook looks like before and what it is now. Facebook is like now all in one platform and I expect to see a revolutionizing evolution from metaverse as time goes on. I also think they have plans to make it available into masses in the future knowing that most of the people have basic devices like smartphone and won't spend on something like Oculus.

... thanks to Mark Zuckerberg. Leaked selfies of his grand MetaVerse vision are now the laughing stock of the tech community.

I believe in the future of the metaverse, it will be the next trend in the market when the bull season comes. Not only Facebook, many other technology companies are also pouring capital into this supermarket. So its future is very bright.
Yes, the photos of Mark Zuckerberg are really bad, the graphics are so bad coming from a technology company like Facebook
I think we all acknowledge that the metaverse is the future, however how long it will take for the metaverse to become a reality? When it comes to social media the graphics aspect was never too much of a problem, however when it comes to the metaverse if things do not look realistic or at least appealing to the public many people will not use it, and the graphics on one of the images posted by the OP are terrible, supposedly Zuckerberg posted improved images but if it is still close to what we seen before then the only conclusion I can make is that we will have to wait a long time for a working and attractive metaverse.,

He should've just stayed silent until it was ready to launch. Somehow this made a lot of Metaverse supporters upset because of how bad it looked.
You may be surprised that they leaked this as well to see the publics reaction to their progress so far, that cannot be the final work, or even if it was, they have their response now and will definitely go back to work. Criticism is good for progress, maybe they just needed a dose of it.

You sure didn’t watch the whole content of the video. Mark Zuckerburg is not dumb enough to release that low quality graphics a final output of his metaverse project. He just want to show a glimpse of what they are doing and they are doing it from scratch. Meta is not planning a mediocre metaverse like what we are seeing in crypto space because they are planning to have a metaverse that has global scope. They plan to this for many years so I’m sure he just want to show where they begin and update is on the improvement later on because you can’t showcase properly your product if you will not start first showing the ugly part.

"Leaked selfies" - so this means that it isn't the final version of meta's metaverse and people are aware of that yet people loves to make a big deal out of it because of attention seeking. I wouldn't say the current crypto metaverse projects are any good. They are all the same and people play/use the metaverse only for the "profits" they hope of making. All I have seen is those projects selling lands and people trying to flip them for some good profits.

I'm wondering who will be the first to present a truly working platform for the metaverse. Of course, it will only be a question of when. Undoubtedly this is the future and with the help of blockchain it will be an amazing world.

I am giving him a chance though, he has the money and power, might as well use that for better production of a game.
We are not 2D anymore. That's like 20 years ago with the playstation 1 and what he had done didn't make gamers crazy about it but instead doubt his capability of making a Metaverse world.
Good news for other projects though as I am sure they will be hunted by those looking for a better graphics than this.

Seriously spending billion of dollars for this one is just waste of time and making fool of the public because you can deploy a graphical resource meta much better than this at fraction of billion dollars. You could explore some of the NFT projects that have developed their Metaverse and they seems far exciting then this and Mark should realise the future revolution that it could bring like the virtual space but it should not be a old game graphics.

Now take a look at what we're building in Crypto:

Wilder World, Illuvium, NetVRk, Star Atlas to name a few. I'm invested in all of these of course, but I see Illuvium taking the lead in 2023..
Exactly, this illuvium is better than all play to earn games I've seen, I mean they are evolving very fast, this Pokemon style adventure game will be a success, also its max supply is the lowest, that explain why its 100$+ per token right now, I have just 3.

Really? The comment on the internet about this selfies is bad, they said it sucks so much that people wouldn't want Zuckerberg meta, anyway, of course the idea behind metaverse will reshape the future, new technology and ideas will evolve from this day forward, its a shame that I don't have any metaverse project in my portfolio.

there is no doubt that the metaverse project does have a great future, think about it,
companies like Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram turned into Meta, and they entered the metaverse world,
yes, even though it's still not visible at the moment, but the Metaverse is the future, same like the internet
