Cryptsy uses MongoDB as their main database. It makes me scared. MongoDB is the bad database choice. Unsafe for their data, unsafe for our transactions

I would comment that it is risky to hold any coin in any online wallet, all the wallets on all the exchanges are online wallets basically.
Why would it be more risky to do this at cryptsy then at bter ?

Don't store more than your trade balance online. Keep the bulk of your funds offline.

I've had a bad experience with Cryptsy also, but it does have a large variety.. i wish other trading sites would expand on their variety of cryptos
