Spoetnik, my problem with you never was that you went after scammers, but that you went after them with a scattergun and little to no research.

FWIW, you inspired me. After being accused of being a cloner so many times, I actually did learn how to do it Never released anything, and probably never will, but I have built a couple of coins for the pure hell of it. I'm still no where near a good enough programmer to be a true developer or do anything terribly innovative, but it is interesting.

On topic, sort of, the Cryptsy meltdown was less obvious than some seem to think, but it was obviously coming quite a while before it went south. I read the writing on the wall and lost very little. Some of my friends got seriously screwed. Never keep more than you can afford to lose on any exchange. Even honest men can screw up, and large amounts of liquid cash are an amazingly hard temptation even to good people.

I know some of the people that worked for Cryptsy, and I'm not entirely certain that all of them that I know are innocent in this. Some, yes. They got screwed as bad or worse than the customers, because going forward, having worked for Cryptsy is going to make finding employment very difficult.

I'm wondering how long until I scroll an entire page of posts that say "This user is currently ignored."! Lol

Not sure you know this but there is no rule that says you have to read every post on Bitcointalk.

Just an FYI. 

I'll say this, Spoetnik was the only consistent guy in the Cryptsy troll-box who was constantly calling out scams and also going after cryptsy admins for allowing pumps and dumps, etc.  He was regularly getting banned by Cryptsy until they finall did ban him for something like a year.  I was actually in the troll-box when that happened.

I never saw anybody attack Cryptsy like that so hippie tech is really just a latecomer acting like he's a sleuth when most of what he says is downright delusional and crazy. 

Keep it up, Spoetnik, you're one of the good guys in crypto.

You will notice guys i started in on HippieTech because he came back.
The staff here had already deleted a huge ton of his recent comments on this topic.
He did not take that as any type of hint.. he ran right back here and started posting the same exact shit again.
So i called him out..

First off i said to him in my own personal view i think he is bat shit insane.. for real no joke !

2nd i tried to be fair and i asked him nicely can he clarify what it is exactly he is on to with it all.
Like what is it with all of these posts he is trying to say ?
And what relevance does it have to the topic at hand.

I never got an answer... i did get a picture of some shit in a toilet and some insults though.

He seems to have this vision in his head that i am in cahoots with Cryptsy staff making coins..
Then he tries to associate an older scene name rarely ever seen last 2 years (Muddafudda)
with the active user Crestington.. then.. he ties those two names together into a Cryptsy conspiracy.
I am not sure if those names are the same guy or not..
But i do know that both those guys combined could not have gotten very many coins onto Cryptsy markets.
So if there is in fact a conspiracy like he says i think it's far smaller than he wants us all to believe.
Considering there was many other "groups" making numerous coins.
And for some odd reason HippieTech has no interest at all in the other guys.
Even when Cryptsy staff ADMIT publicly they had coins made for them etc.
Does he rail on about Bottlecaps etc ?
Nope.. he is utterly obsessed with bad mouthing me and Crestington (and anyone that does not agree with him)

This guy HippieTech has been riding my ass for 2 years before this topic guys.
He is like my stalker.

And i pointed out earlier how he is clearly stalking the shit out of Crestington on this forum too.
He has been hunting stalking insulting & harassing that other guy intensely (look at his post history)

So.. he never did say.
We've asked him what the fuck is it your going on about ?
Then once again he posts a bunch of weird quotes and say you figure it out !
Like we are suppose to draw the same crazy conclusions he has from the fleeting random bits of info.

He has posted on this very topic sooooo many times *unprovoked* by me..
That i had doctored / forged PM's and helped Cryptsy staffers make coins
and that i have an army of "Sock Puppet" accounts.
And i have tried like hell to prove it too him giving him what ever he wants.. but it doesn't work.
His brain is a skipping record.. there is no reasoning with him.. which makes me think he is ill mentally.

All of the proof he has had of me is of me making jokes.
And he is always angry ..he does not seem to have a sense of humor.
For example..
My very first post on this forum was a Joke / Parody coin ANN topic i faked in the now gone Nooby section.
I copied and pasted some paragraphs of coin info from a couple of real coins..
Then i used a Google image of a rabbit then i said i quit my day job to do Crypto'z full time
(which was a jab at a guy named Krichwins on Cryptsy chat who said that to us all)
I posted a fake Github link to a page that did not load.. that is it.
There was never any code or Github page.. i have never even signed up at Github before.
But CrazyTech found that old info and that was his smoking gun / holy grail of proof on me apparently..
That was his star witness proof i was a mass coin cloner.

That was post no. 1 here for me.. In the Nooby Jail section.
The reactions i got were hilarious and it ended up being super funny.
Sadly HippieTech has no sense of humor.

Anyway sorry it's a "rant"
Hope it provides a bit of perspective on that crap guys.

I never faked or edited any PM before once.
I think you got suspicious when i volunteered to give you a PM or two i got from Horus.
You then flipped out because of HOW i copied it.. i simply hit ctrl-a + actrl-c (like i usually do on my PC)
You demanded i resend it via hitting the quote button so i did.. then you used that PM i gave you
many times later as proof i was in cahoots with Horus + Cryptsy.. simple because of a casual short conversation.

I have known my fellow Canadian Horus for 3 years and we spent a LOT of time talking on the Cryptsy Troll-Box.
Horus has always been a super fair MOD and a really nice guy that is mega helpful.

It's just what it looks like, Vern looted his own exchange and now he's trying to duck the heat by fleeing the country. It's corporate embezzlement, plain and simple, just with a crypto twist. It's same story as the mintpal guy basically.
