Something very nefarious is happening at Cryptsy. They are locking up wallets and accounts. I had a bunch of coin that I converted to another coin and then I withdrew that coin. The very next day I was watching the chat on Cryptsy and now no one can withdraw from that wallet. They are locking down every avenue of withdrawal from Cryptsy. I also was trying to relay a quote from their support team onto the chat so that people could have the latest info on what was going on (the official news so to speak) and after I posted that quote I was permanently banned. Their support team went from excellent to awful over night. The question that I have is why exactly are they doing this and what is the end game. Does anyone have an idea? Are they just going to shut it down and keep all the coins and reopen in china with the new site they are setting up. I don't know, but all of this does not look good. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

BUT i missed this story.
I did see some weird trade activity back then though on Cryptsy.
VTC was on there for a good amount of time many months but someone kept popping by and buying a million dollars worth LOL
I had some and dumped all i had into it..
Then i kept calling it out on chat when the guy showed up.. happened on & off for weeks.
It had crossed my mind it was internal manipulation..
That VTC story sounds like my WhiteCoin fork story i told on this topic already.
You go around and thee is no problem mentioned anywhere.. ONLY on Cryptsy !
And this VTC story sounds bad because of the small test amounts too !

I also don't think there was ever a real reason to start handing our partial withdrawals.
Best i can tell a lot of people have had that happen to them (not me though)
I can guarantee this problem will not simply go away because Cryptsy wants to plug there ears.

Please be careful stating anything that could be perceived as a genuine violent threat.
That is something the Police will look into and actually arrest you for.
Most countries these days have laws against uttering threats on the internet.
So.. Think about what you guys say and maybe edit your post.
I would rather hear about BigVern going to Jail rather than one of his customers he allegedly ripped off.
Also i edited my last comment with the exact date BitJohn added the MOTD to the IRC channel.. OCT 17th
I had thought it was much earlier than that so i was wrong.. corrected

I kinda doubt that BitJohn would be Owlsey but the reference link between him and BigBaller seems like it could be something worth noting. There are too many complaints about people not being able to withdraw BTC not to look into why. Why can't people withdraw their Coins? what is the problem? It isn't the Blockchains, most every one is running fine. I deposited BTC mid november and it arrived quickly so why is only deposits working OK but not withdraws?
