So there are 2 scenarios I see.

1. He was foreclosed on and they let him live in the house for 6 years

2. He bought the house in 2009 after someone else got foreclosed on

Good for you, but if you'd actually read all of the above you would have seen that it has nothing to do with the issues many Cryptsy users are experiencing.

DON'T PANIC

The other day I'd requested withdrawl of some altcoins, clicked a "confirm this withdrawl" email, and found this thread the next day when it became obvious that the coins were not on the way.  One could read all of the above and think that the end is nigh.

What I should have done was to have been logged in to cryptsy on the same computer as the confirmation email which I clicked.  That worked today, and the (admittedly small) stash of altcoins arrived about an hour later than the network transmission time for that coin.  Crucially, you must be logged in before following the email confirmation link and you should see a green messageband on the crypsy website showing that the withdrawl is confirmed.

I've created support ticked saying something like 'please cancel my pending btc withdrawal'. They have returned my btc back to balance in a hour. Another way is to ask cancel withdrawal in chat, they will do so in a minutes. A bit more complicated part is to find altcoin with tiny spread, good volume and working withdrawals( ltc withdrawals pending for hours and maybe days). Doge have worked out for me( Eth and Dash withdrawals worked also), but it was yesterday, i'm not sure is it working now, just try it out.

IRL, I knew a guy who told stories of how he was a Marine sent to Panama to rescue a general. He found him, then carried the wounded General seven miles through the Panamanian jungles to safety. To this day, this ex-Marine is unable to read a simple road map, ergo his story can't be true.

I'd like to here from the guys a year ago who flooded Cryptsy's IRC support channel they mod'd
I was hanging out there offering support to people as all staff was in hiding
except once when a staff member using a name no one ever heard of came on IRC
to told us the problem was fixed days ago..
The whole entire place laughed and many guys got pissed right off.
The staff member was lying !

I was utterly blown away at how many and how fast they were coming..
Every few seconds for more than a week i seen "new user connected"
and then the new guy would ask the obvious.. Has anybody gotten Doge coins out ?

They were not processing withdrawals for over a week made no statement on twitter etc.
people were flipping out..
only after a week and about 3 days did that one random unknown staff member pop up claiming everyone was lying.

And wow good bloody god did i see a LOT of guys bitching !
I stayed on IRC and helped as many as i could for over a week too.
