Just keep on surfing and keep on increasing your knowledge. This is the only thing that you need in order to be successful in this field. I'd advise you to be cautious regarding what you read; it doesn't necessarily mean it's true or even probable to happen. Also, do your own research; don't take someone's word for granted; and avoid reading signals, which are extremely common in the altcoin section and random pump and dump tokens, unless you're in for a gamble.

Also, avoid joining cryptocurrency-related groups on platforms such as Telegram and Discord, or at least be extremely cautious if you do.

Bitcointalk forum has been helpful allowing people from every corners of the world who don't have opportunities on their local areas to start earning a decent amount of money online in a weekly basis, which for many is the only income they have for a living. Without signature campaigns many forum members wouldn't have conditions to start investing in BTC, because they are young, jobless or come from families who are in precarious conditions.

However, it shouldn't be the goal of any individuals for the entire life. It's a very welcome income to start your life, to invest it in different areas, so you can grow your earnings, build your business or pay for your superior education, but to live solely from signature campaigns forever besides being risky is also a very poor goal, as everyone has gifts, skills and capacity to do much more inside the society.

Moreover, for new members it's not easy to join campaigns, as there isn't any available for newbies and junior members. OP must be aware about it, so he won't get deluded.

Bitcoin is a game changer but you’ve to also prepare to have a change mindset towards bitcoin. Not by what you see online but what you have researched and have sufficient knowledge about. I have read this so many times and still cannot really wrap my head around what you mean by with bitcoins people are able to make a genuine living. It sounds like something that can be misinterpreted by beginners to mean that bitcoin is a get-rich quick scheme and that depending on bitcoin alone without having any other plans is okay. It is not so.

If you've gone through so many discussions on this forum you find out that the general advice is also that you should not completely depend on bitcoins and investments in cryptocurrency for your livelihood. So how do people make a living from bitcoin? are they really HODLing?

To correct you OP, I will say that bitcoin has offered hope for people in Africa to get out of poverty through purposeful and smart investments in it, not just an avenue to make a living like you suggest.
