Just curious, when did you test cex.io and make the profit? Why would leave after a week if you made such a good return?

It was the end of October (heh time flies), I wasn't suggesting you could still make that amount, but at the time 0.7 BTC was worth about £70 which would be about 0.15BTC now.
I think you could still make that in a week, obviously not by just buying GHs waiting a week and selling them.
I left after a week as I was testing it and I was trading just using candle stick patterns, It felt like too much of a gamble. I feel more comfortable with more information when I'm trading and I find if I don't feel comfortable I make mistakes or take risks I wouldn't otherwise do.

no no no no no, you earn more then that because you sell you hash power for less than you pay for!

I don't think there is any point replying to you vpasic, that quote says it all.

cex.io is also crap.
couple of days ago some dude make experiment wit 10btc investment in cex.io.
no matter what he done, buying more hash power with earned btc or not, he always end up loosing 15-20%.

so forget about cex.io!!!

He can always redeem his Ghashes and get hardware to play with if he doesn't like their pool, or/and he might sell those Ghashes when their price is higher...

price for gh on cex.io is dropping rapidly. he can't sell it for the same price he bought! and he is loosing on gh value more that he can earn!
so you are wrong!

I just transfered some namecoins and bought 1 ghs. I use this as a self funding CEX.io, I am not really into trading GHs. I am just building slowly hash power beyond my tiny rigs. But as BTC and other ALTcoins you can trade GHs as well following the simple rule: buy low, sell high. It needs strategy, luck and wits. I don't see a thing wrong with it.

Right now Jalapeno 5Gh/s are selling around the $300 dollar mark on ebay. Now remember this, ebay takes 10% of the final sale, so keep that in mind. I finally got out from under my 13GH Jalapenos this morning. Someone bought them for 800$, so there are people buying them, you'll need to get lucky and find someone to pay that much for it.

The guy sounds like a moron.
I tested cex.io for a week with 1.5 btc and left with 2.2.
Pretty decent return, just didn't have the time to invest, even if you just bought GHs, it's normally cheaper than buying the hardware and you get the same results... plus you can resell it easily.. (While everyone is waiting for things to ship and then the hardware you have becoming useless.)

Will you say BTC0.1 + shipping?

Planning to mine alt coins Smiley

Still it has value, it is hardware. But you can't mine BTC anymore, only altcoins... I prefer Zetacoins and Cubits. BTW if you have money to spend, why don't you examine CEX.io or similar services?

If I had money to spend it wouldn't go to cex.io. I would buy shares in a mining company.

Whatever you pay for it it's money throwed to toilet!
Why do you say that? You can always mine SHA-256 altcoins and get your money back.

Will you say BTC0.1 + shipping?
