Of course everyone has their own investment plan, but I think I can get a lot more profit in crypto. I mean, why leave a business that is easier to get profit from? I respect your decision btw, it's just that if you ask me if I'm still in crypto, of course I am.
You have the reason to quit now especially when the market is presently unstable.but no one knows what the future holds at hand so in my own opinion,I think it will be best idea to invest now and hold till 2024. A lot of profits will come out of it.
You have a positive mindset that your openyon is right to invest now and come back before the year 2024 we don't know what will happen to your altcoins hold when the year you mentioned comes but the only thing I can say about that year is the price of altcoins will be more expensive even the price of bitcoin you just need self confidence. You could encounter a FOMO within that 3 year hiatus period but hat's off to you by being brave and getting out all of your investments within the Cryptocurrency but as someone who encountered a same hiatus period, its time wasting to not be within the Cryptocurrency Industry even though you will just invest on one single coin. There will be big changes when you come back and you might take time feeling familiar which is not a great idea since every thing moves fast within this industry but I guess if that is your decision, you can do you but you need to keep in mind the risks that you will be taking.
I don't think if that is good idea but it's not bad if you quit.. why don't you invest your profit to the altcoins and forget it.. leave it to your wallet just come back in 3 years surely you can make a lot money, just don't forget to save private key or seeds in a safe place.

If you guys get some huge profit already there's no reason for you to stay you can give the others some chance to begin their journey of the crypto industry. You guys deserve it you already made some good contributions. Now that the price was spiking in an unbelievable scenario, only those who are greedy will still want to push the price more even though they are holding for so long since the beginning of the bearish trend. Others already harvest the fruit of their patience.
It would be the wrong decision for me to leave cryptocurrency trading because it is a part of my life. Moreover, now I understand very well that you can earn not only on the increase in the value of the coin, but also on its decline. Not only that, the OP has also taken the decision to not comeback until 2024, that is an eternity in this market, maybe he thinks something similar to what we saw during the 2016-2020 period will happen but there is no guarantee we will see a long bear market this time around since there are so many institutional investors that have invested heavily in bitcoin already, if governments keep printing money then it is fair to expect the price of bitcoin to keep increasing slowly during the next years and by the time he comebacks the reality of the market will be incredibly different than what we have now. quitting now and coming back will leave you lack behind a lot, even if bear happens , new projects will come, some projects will fade away. you need to check in sometimes to get updates about how projects are performing so you will be able to know the good projects to accumulate. my plan is different, either bull or bear, i will be here.
its not bad to quit for sometimes but its actually beneficial for our body to relax and enjoy the profits from our hard worked but you arent just going to relax and spend and spend but your doing also doing an outside business didnt you ? because you said that you might came back with a 10k usd with you and return in your investing business here in crypto .
my plan for now is im not going to leave here because im not confident yet with the profits that i got , maybe next time but for now crypto business is my priority .

your choice is very smart to save the benefits you already have, but in my opinion it is something that you have ever done wrong. I think that 10000USD profit is very suitable for you to invest in Altcoin which has the potential in the future to be better than now. for example like Cardano, aorora, Btt and BNB. I am sure you will find the next advantage when investing in Altcoin that I mentioned
At present no one can say which way the market will go and whether the bull market is going. It is not possible to get the information without analyzing the market properly if you leave now you will not be able to make any profit if the market goes up a lot in some time I don’t think the market will go down the price of currencies will rise again therefore, it is better to invest in small amounts there will be no risk and profit will be made. Many traders are re investing in the market.

I agree with you. I am also quit my investment. But it is still possible to make a profit by investing for a short time. The market is slowly going down so investing at this time is definitely risky. I don't really understand why you need to leave in such a definitive way, what will happen if you are mistaken? Bull market might be gone as you have stated but don't forget that the market is all about trends. First it was ICO, then later it was preceeded by IEO that saw a lot of boom in centralized exchanges and later Decentralized finance that so a limelight through yearn finance and today look at what dex has bring into different projects and cryptocurrency it self.
Decentralized finance has birth more hundreds of great projects and there are many more to come as long as Defi is still hot.
There is likely emergence of another trends and you may loose out this opportunity instead I will advise you to stick to the market and enjoy the profits because trend is your friend.

Completely leaving the market and blindly saying a date 3 years from now might not be the best tactic. If you want to go on the sidelines that's fine all good. I would stay close and get ready to jump back in at some point if a new bottom has perceivably been hit. Good thing to jump in little by little again at a later date and cost average your way back in. Either way good luck to you.

I would have said you have weak hands but well it's your money and your choice, the bull run isn't over yet just so you know, you are the one that just panicked and sold off your crypto, not like it's bad to lock in on profits, but going out of the market just because of this little correction isn't wise, the bull run is still on and might even continue till the end of this year, bitcoin is still eyeing to break that $60k barrier, bullish and bearish seasons are both inevitable, I intend to hold my position till we start seeing some green again. now bull market gone, what ever bullish now is temporary and bear is inevitable. so whats your plans ?
Those early adopters that had 10,000 BTC long ago sold it when BTC hit $100, $1,000, $10,000 etc. They bought back in only at inflated prices. Eventually you have companies like Tesla with deep pockets buying BTC at $30,000 and higher.
The people with diamond hands were laughing when BTC hit $58,000. But it is a risk because you just never know what will happen in the future. It would suck to own 10,000 BTC @ $58,000 and then it goes back down to $100 for some unknown reason. At some point you have to take some profits before you die. Can't take all the BTC with you to the grave lol!

I don't see any point in leaving cryptocurrency at all. Especially now, when such interesting events continue on this market. Even if bitcoin stops in its price growth, then this may serve as a reason for the start of the altcoin season. In addition, you can earn and receive profit in any active state of the market. If you have time, then I see no reason why not use it profitably, including for your wallet.
I know many of my colleagues which I had invited before to join in investing in cryptocurrency, has somehow managed to get a profit. But due to their lack of confidence in the system, they only put a little in their investments and was able to triple it all these years. Now they are a bit hesitant to invest right now, and they want to wait for any semblance of the 2018 crash where Bitcoin and the alts went down, giving many traders and investors a chance to buy low.
